….. the camera for the close up……????? that’s how they film a close up in hollywood. They can either zoom in and out or roll it back and forth for a shaking effect. This is likely what’s happening here, a close up of Ahsoka then rolled away on the uneven terrain for effect to perhaps visualize an earthquake or force power. This isn’t evidence of being a fan film by itself. Just because production of the series just started doesn’t mean they haven’t filmed anything. You have to film promotional material to pitch the idea, sometimes even an entire pilot to pitch. That’s without mentioning the physical characteristics are identical to the actors that play Ahsoka and Maul for disney. They are in a location that likely has to be traveled to, and there is a $220,000+ camera right behind the smaller camera. The lens alone is likely $100k. An entire crew and even more equipment likely just as expensive out of frame, and props littering the ground that are movie quality. So, no evidence would suggest it is not a fan film. When the pilot has this scene in it, or doesn’t, we will know who is correct.

Maul is force ghosting Asoka.

Unless it’s a flashback from when he was in search of the dark saber because it looks like he has metal legs so that means it’s towards his later years before he’s killed by Obi in the desert. Which would make sense because he’d be older, and she would be older.

It could also be a flashback sequence that they’ll have in one of the Ahsoka episodes.

it's a flash black After solo as Asoka is based of what happens to her after rubles and before new hope leading into mandalorian my theory just thought I'd try helping others as pic can be tricky in timeline because we actually never saw mual in person as solo he was a hologram and we see 12 seconds of him so it could be a clue for solo 2 wich they could have put mual in but never did so my question is why put a character that's not supposed to be in Asoka series timeline if they were not giving us hits for Solo 2 as mual dies before new hope makes sense to me just thinkin why bri g dead character back unless they are secretly working on a scene from a future project with mual in his crimson dawn costume from solo 🤔 mystery to me but I think my theory makes sense as if they planing a second solo movie with Ray Parker as darth mual would be amazing as we never got to see Ray in person since phantom menace back in 95 🤞

The outfits don't even match because she's wearing her Mandalorian getup and Maul is wearing his getup from when he was still in control of Crimson Dawn, which take place on two very different points on the timeline. Plus, from the way Ahsoka and Maul interacted in Rebels, it's at least implied that it's the first time they've seen each other since Order 66, so I doubt it would be a flashback. Plus, the Ahsoka show is clearly about the search for Ezra and Thrawn so why would Maul of all people be a part of that?

This could be shortly after Ahsoka escaped the World Between Worlds. We don't know when her appearance in the Mandalorian takes place chronologically. She could have faced off against Maul one last time before he died to Kenobi.

I thought it was incredibly clear where Ahsoka’s appearance in Mandalorian fits in chronologically. It takes place after Return of the Jedi, when the Empire has fallen and Luke is already a Jedi Knight. Maul dies to Obi-Wan before A New Hope. Am I missing something here?

I like to think that the lightsaber cauterizes wounds so it could have sealed it from bleed out if he didn’t have to shit then he wouldn’t have septic bacteria in his body but his main organs are still good but that chest slice probably stuck some of the important stuff and it seemed like he let go of a lot of his hatred at the end also compared to before which saved him the first time but I will say the fall absolutely should have killed him unless he landed somewhere soft

Mando takes place after the empire. During rebels which was during the empire rex was extremely old so sadly i dont think hes gonna be in it since he’ll probably be dead. The reason im saying this is because of the clones fast ageing

I believe Maul is around the same age as Kenobi. In his 50's. I still think it should've been 30 years between the Originals and Sequels so his drastic aging makes more sense.
