Cruelty to animals is terrible. In my country you are not allowed to abuse or neglect an animal, you can be fined heavily and animals taken from you and re-homed.

You need to report the owners and tell all the viewers the truth!! These dogs come from Amish puppy mill farms. The are evil and vile and should all be left to rot in prison including their sadistic children.

They’re all well-behaved. Poor dogs to have an owners who don’t care about their being.

My shih tzu was my best pal. He protected me and I loved him dearly. Sadly he passed away just after his 15th birthday. He hated being groomed, and would attack the dog groomer. However grooming is a must, every 6 weeks! The shih tzus in your film are incredibly well behaved, could hardly believe it. Glad they have found caring homes, they deserve it.

You did such a great job in all three of these sweet dogs!! I loved watching the videos and seeing the progress! I was worried about them going back to the farm, thank you so much for saving them!! You’re angels!

Thank you for helping these dogs. I think their calmness is because they can sense you are good people. I had a small mixed breed and a Yorkie. I bathed, brushed and trimmed them as needed. They went to the groomers a few times, but mostly I did it on my own because of the cost. But I didn't mind and they would lay quietly, except for the nails, they never liked that. Can't stand abuse and neglect 😢😢 humans can be pretty disgusting.

Thank you for rescuing these poor pups and finding them homes where they will be cared for and loved. I recently adopted a rescued Shih Tzu and I did my research on his grooming requirements before I adopted him. I knew what I was getting into and my boy will be groomed as he needs.

Shih Tzu deserves the best. They are so loving. People should be educated of their needs before getting one. They have hair just like us and they need to be groomed daily just like us. Thank you for taking care of these babies.

You two have the biggest hearts for rescuing dogs! You devote your time and energy to looking after them. You are the best! I have a 14 year old shin tzu. She was given to me by my grandchildren as a Christmas gift. She has been groomed ever since I got her and she loves going. Although for several years she has had allergies, thyroid condition and arthritis she comes first with me! She has two shots every month and has several pills she has to take! My heart breaks every time I see a neglected animal. So glad we have an animal rescue close by. I noticed that the last little dog had a brown tick in her ear!

My daughter adopted a shih tzu from a family member. I took over his grooming because my daughter couldn’t afford it while she was in grad school. We had no idea how much grooming he requires but it’s been worth it. He is the sweetest dog we’ve ever seen, a little angel. It’s heartbreaking to see these sweet dogs so neglected. You guys are doing wonderful work!❤️

Wow, what you guys have done to help these three poor babies is amazing. I have three shih tzus myself, and I groom them at home myself but get help from a groomer with their nails. I hadn't owned shih tzus before and your right didn't know how intensive it is keeping them in a manageable hair cut. But now it's become part of our weekly grooming maintenance, it's time consuming but keeping on top of it really helps and stops them becoming unmanageable

I brush our Cavalier every day - that way it would not ever get to this. I also wipe his eyes several times a day, and put eye drops in them as he gets sore eyes. My partner checks his bum a couple of times a day and uses a (special dog) wipes to clean up any poop that might have got stuck on his fur. Our Cavalier also has epilepsy, spinal fluid issues, and arthritis in his hips. He is on 5 different medications 4 times a day. We manage it bc he our pet, we chose to adopt him as a rescue dog.

In the U.S.A. they are called a, "Puppy Mill". Same bad environment. My wife and I run a small boarding kennel and provide grooming as well. Whenever we groom a pelted dog, they know we are helping them feel better. Doggo says, "Thank you, thank you, thank you... That feels so good.

It's great to see those three dogs all dog-shaped again instead of matted messes. It's even better to hear that you rescued them from that dog farm. Even though you had to give so much money, you did the right thing.

The temperament of this dog is awesome

I own a Chinese Crested Powder puff and I knew he was a long haired double coated Dog .And I am fully aware of the full grooming it entitles to keep his full coat .I like grooming and it usually takes 2 hrs to do a full groom including shaving his face ,feet and ears .

I love Shih tzus,!! When I bought my Shih tzus many years ago, I had absolutely no idea they produced those massive coats. I spent endless hours brushing & combing my dogs. As I got older and older, all the weekly brushing of their under coats caused my arms to ache. The dogs you’re grooming & the videos of them running around with huge matted coats shows that those Shih tzus have exceptionally wonderful coats if they were cared for responsibly. They are lovely Shih tzus which are exploited. I prefer the tri colored coat. I can’t really tell what color combination those are. The fact that they don’t bite is an excellent example of the very sweet personality of the purebred Shih tzu breed. That’s why I love them… they are so sweet & make a wonderful companion dog.

You both have hearts of gold. Keep being the way you are. The world needs more like you.

I groom both my Goldendoodle and Spoodle myself at home. I’m no expert but they both look good when finished. Love the work you both do.

My parents adopted a dog like this, and they didn't take good care of it at all! But I insisted that they need to at least take it to a groomer regularly if they're not able to do it themselves. The breed is extremely intelligent, they do understand that you are helping!

I am a 56yr old man, and seeing this dog like this, and other dogs like this just makes me tear up. I mean, look at the video, this dog is fantastic. I wish I knew some information on it. I have a 17 month old mini Poodle that needs a friend with 4 legs. She gets all the loving she can handle from her humans, but I think she would love a friend. I think the poor dog in the video has been through enough. It needs a forever home with loving, caring people. I sure hope she finds it. I am in Georgia, USA

I knew my Yorkie would need frequent grooming when I adopted her. I took her a few times to professional groomers until I learned how to groom her myself. I do her with my husband helping keep her still. We recently adopted another dog, a Poodle/ Chihuahua mix, and also groom her ourselves.
