You wanted an indicator, the top 100 companies in the US over the last 6 years have filled 90% of their open positions with only minorities given a 65% white population that being random chance is extremely unlikely thats racial discrimination. Disney got caught on tape saying they will not hire whites and that, advancement for current white employees is not in the table.

Yes, white people have an identity and we should protect it. Yes, I'm pissed. I can't even have an intelligent discussion via comments on social media without getting banned/shadowbanned or having my comments automatically deleted. All because the usual suspects have removed people like me from the public discourse. In the UK I may be in prison. Over 3,000 people in the UK were put in prison in 2023 for "hate" speech. It is possible this very comment will not be seen. There is much I would say but they make intelligent discussion impossible by auto-censoring based on key words. I have lost count of all the times I have been banned by different platforms. Well, if I can't have my voice one way I will have it another. White man, rise up. Time to reclaim your history, your present and your future from these wolves and jackals. Save your nation, save your history, save your family, save yourself.

As a White working-class person and I think a White backlash is far past due. 1) because of Only Black Lives Matter (being endorsed by white well-to-do so they can keep their ill-earned gains; and 2) because we have no, absolutely no representation in Washington, D.C. for non-unionized (i.e., 90 %) of the White Working Class. I am in NYC with 2 senators who have no idea that the concept of "working class" includes non-unionized white workers, judging by their dialogues and voting. Frankly, the white working class -which gets no special programs, no social programs specifically aimed at them no matter what their struggles, has been far more oppressed than the black working class (assumed to be in poverty due to skin color) my entire working life, which has been 55 years. I think I am not unique.

As a white male lawyer I have experienced this type of racism in my own career and practices. Judges applying laws differently based on race. Black supremacy is open and celebrated without anyone discussing how such an ideology would not lead to dehumanization and violence. I saw a court clerk wear a "black excellence" t-shirt the other day. We live in a large multi ethnic society. It will not survive without a race neutral merit based public policy.

The term “race card” was invented by people who were racist and who didn’t want to accept accountability for their actions. It’s not a race card when black families moving into a neighborhood and all of a sudden the magical number of 10% of Black people triggers, a mass exodus of white families. it’s not a race card when I’m sitting and watching the news with a white person and upon seeing that Lloyd Austin is made secretary of defense that white person blurts out “ I hope he’s not nominating people just because they’re black”. And these are every day working class white people who will tell you that they work with Black people every day, but never have a black person come to their house for dinner. They never go to church with Black people. The bottom line is that race is not a card to be played.

Whites created the race card you suggest you won't tolerate anymore, but now that it offends your sensibilities, you want to toss it aside while leaving those who had to contend with race responsible for the harms. This is yet again another example of what White people says goes, and it's ironic that people in this space don't see that. America had EVERY chance to do something different, but chose to double down on race and who would receive access to citizenship and resources based on where they were positioned in the hierarchy. You may appreciate Glenn Loury for creating a space to allow you to escape having to deal with race, but others desire to have a robust conversation about the harms and how they can be repaired.

I'm 60 years old and white working class from The South. You know what really had angered us about all this identity stuff of recent years? What our children and grandchildren are going through at school. Most of which comes from teachers, most of which are black. Specifically, telling little white girls they are ugly, telling boys they are responsible for all the evils in the world...and no, I'm not exaggerating. What kind of adult gets off on demoralizing children? I've truly come to believe there teachers who delight in behaving this way in the classroom. And THAT makes us angry.

I'm an adult and recently sat through a Humanities class where the teacher read exerpts from a book (by a black women - and quite frankly, it seems that ever class in every age group is reading books written by blacks) and offered from left-wing commentary that was spiteful and downright Ahistorical. She framed the history as something uniquely European done to blacks - rather than a common practise as old as time. I was talking to a little white boy as he was answering the questions and just imaged the daily verbal abuse he gets from all the horrible lefty teachers. I was asking what he thought of the book and what the teacher had said - i said he should talk with his parents about it (he didn't really know what he though - but it was putting some really awful stuff in his head) I reminded him very quietly, 'just because an author says something doesn't make it factual'.

It angers me that the current dogma is that the only way to correct past racism is with present racism. Now, I am not historically a conservative, and definitely not far right. I was a Democrat from the second Clinton term until the beginning or the Biden presidency. I voted against Hillary, but not for Trump. The left has moved so far left that I had to leave the party. I'm once again registered unaffiliated like before Clintons second election. We are under pressure to be an "advocate" for this community or that community, but where are our advocates? Who's gonna stand up and say that even though there have been some injustice in the past, the corrections to those injustices have been carried out by white people. Modern day slavery is mostly carried out by so called, people of color. Slavery is rampant in North Korea, Saudi Arabia, Eritrea, Mauritania, Turkey, UAE... but lets dwell on something that America ended 160 years ago like that was the only place it ever happened. A key point often overlooked is that corporations are bragging about how few whites they are hiring today. Having lost my job for "working while white," I saw this bias while looking for a new job. Once I stopped identifying, the HR screens started. They were always video calls that led to ghosting. You know what happened. I know what happened. Sure, I could have flubbed a call here/there, but this occurred 20+ times. Funny thing is I ended up in government where they were most interested in my skillset, not what the institutional investors were demanding. I know I am not alone. There are 600k+ fewer jobs for whites since the pandemic whereas ever other identified group has grown significantly in corporate America. The Washington Post (couldn't find it again) had a chart that showed as of Q12024 Whites were down 800k jobs while every other demographic group was up 1m+ with Asians leading the way followed by Hispanics and Blacks. Those were raw numbers and considering the overall demographics you see the influence of institutional investors and their politics. Confirming this--when speaking with hiring managers from across multiple tech companies where their HR is telling them that 95% of new hires in tech were from "marginalized groups." They see this as a positive. Whether true or not, my observation was that 80-90% of those laid off at companies I get some insight into are white while hiring tends to be the opposite.

One large faction not mentioned here enough is the millions of white people chased out of their homes, school districts, and urban neighborhoods 1950-2000 by the Great Migration from the South . . . aided by school bussing and the so-called Great Society programs. Large sections of American cities, once overwhelmingly white, have become no-go zones for white folks. Now that same process is repeating itself in inner ring suburbs while millions of nonwhites flood into the country through illegal immigration. Working class and middle class whites are the people who have been and who are now adversely affected by this. This situation is ripe for a major backlash.

DuBois, Duke Ellington, Louis Armstrong, Jesse Owens, Rosa Parks, Dr. King, Jackie Robinson, and Willie Mays. I enjoyed learning about those pioneers, and I still do. My mother made us watch Roots, made sure that she constantly told us how bad the black population had it, and how we need to lift them up. I was on board with this up until I found some papers in my oldest sons school book bag that claimed that white people are by nature racist. That they cannot be changed, and they will always be the oppressor. Now this paper did not come from a HS out in California or the East Coast. It came from his local school here in Alabama. I contacted the Principle and it was dismissed as nothing. I researched the author of the paper and it was written by an unapologetic Marxist. This is when my views started shifting on the idea that I had to continue to live in an apologetic way, always tip-toeing around being white. When they started messing with my kids, they opened my eyes.

I’m almost 53 & was raised by hippies with a father so left if he moved another few inches in that direction he’d be doing a handstand. We were raised to be brutally self accountable. I remember when I was 4 or 5 years old saying that I was starving and my God the angry lecture that unleashed from my father… hungry was one thing but starving was distinctly reserved for those who actually were and all that it entailed! We were accountable for our actions AND the words we used to communicate our needs, ideas, thoughts etc. Hard work was expected not praised as an accomplishment or rewarded with an allowance. And everything we had was viewed as good fortune and the privilege of being able to earn it. I earned money by babysitting, cutting our hippie neighbors’ hair, and cleaning their houses at 12,13&14 yrs. I started bussing tables at 15. We were not racist. From friends to boyfriends I was not racist! In fact, I was abused verbally and once physically because of friends and boyfriends that I loved who were not white. Small rural county = some country kids that had a lot of prejudice and expressed it all over me because I didn’t think or behave the way they thought I should. I was not a racist! In my life I watched things improve racially. It improved so much that I stopped thinking about race. Later on Obama became president and I thought any remnants left had mostly lifted from this country. It was an awesome thing. But then towards the end of his first term something changed in his approach. And from around 2011/2012 and increasingly since then it’s been race, race, race, racist, racist, racist! Now it’s 1/2 the conversation. But black people cant be racist while all white people are and denying the claim makes you that much more racist. For the first time in my life I’m angry! I’m sick of the down w/ white people sentiment that is loud and constant. I’m not just weary waiting for it to pass, I’m angry! It’s changed how I view the world. It’s changed my trust in our society and in people. It’s changed my politics. It’s changed where I live. This wasn’t the dream. This wasn’t what so many fought for for so long. This isn’t what I was taught. This isn’t MLK Jr or even Malcolm X’s vision. This is a nightmare! And it’s a nightmare that’s wrapped up in a variety of over the line lunacies in other areas all bundled together. It’s intolerable! And it breaks my heart. I grieve for my Country. Just as we were actualizing our founding principles the country went off the rails.

Far too many people scapegoat whites for being racist and thus responsible for the ill conceived choices and resulting consequences that some blacks have perpetuated. The black community faces unique challenges, and the solutions are within our community. Fatherless and the proportion of children born out of wedlock are predominant factors. We have also for far too long accepted the existence of under performing schools. School choice is the solution. We have also allowed so called black spokespersons to have a platform, and who won’t acknowledge or do anything re crime, particularly black on black crime. Also having a negative experience with a liberal female therapist who betrayed my trust with a lecture about my privilege and etc. The above experiences have moved me from a listening and being humble stance about the conversation, into a defensive mode in regards to the race conversation... it took ALOT to get me here but the lunatic identity politic people have finally succeeded in reversing racial harmony in this country and setting things back 40-50 years. For reasons that aren’t important for this conversation, I am a white, straight, 57 year old male who is just looking for a job - not a career - and I’ve applied to Home Depot, Lowes, BJ’s, Target and Walmart (3 different stores and 5 positions) , even McDonalds and I can’t get an interview, yet when I go into any of them, especially Walmart in Boynton Beach Florida, 99% is black - mostly Haitian or Jamaican , some Spanish, and a few senior white women. In the nearest Supercenter, I’ve seen 2 white guys in their 30’s over a year of shopping there. It certainly isn’t an intelligence or hard worker issue either because I don’t see much of either of those. Out of 100 employees, I’d say 80 are black, 10-15 Spanish and 5 white. I’m tempted to ask a manager “Do you even hire white people anymore”? Just to see if he’ll be honest about company policy or if it’s hiring managers who just don’t like white people and won’t hire them.

About a third of the population is over 65. Marriage and family formation is at all time lows. Children out of wedlock all time highs. Now more black kids go to university then whites as a proportion. White boys from poor backgrounds do the WORST in schools. More young white ppl identifies as LGBTQ+/trans now. (It's legal in the west, so I'm comfortable with that). But they statistically have fewer children. There is huge national debts/gdp. They have been fighting wars in muslim countries iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria and quiet wars in African muslim countries. (What did they achieve? Why did they truly go to all these wars? Who will truly benefit?.....ohh you, your children and grandchildren (if you had any) will pay for these wars from YOUR tax money)). So with all this going on, in 20 short years time who will look after the old in the west? Where will the young ppl be, to work and pay taxes to support the NHS, adult social care, pensions etc....there will be MORE old white pensioners then young white ppl that work and pay TAXES. I'm in my 60s and white. I've gone from donating plenty of money to the United Negro College Fund in my 20s and 30s to stopping that, but still bending over backwards to be friendly to black colleagues and assisting black subordinates in my 40s and 50s to now, in my 60s, pretty angry about the whole racial grievance thing. If it was up to me, we'd put the statues back up and not worry about what flags are flown. All my good will is gone, evaporated by endless accusations of racism against people like me from people who don't even know me. If that's the game you want to play, then by all means, let's play it. I even know what I'm feeling is wrong and sinful, but I still feel it. If I'm going to be called a racist no matter what I do, I will feel free to do whatever I want because it doesn't matter.

@MichaelSellers5691 The west has below replacement level fertility for 4 decades now. Ppl aren't having kids. There are more old white ppl than children. More white ppl die then are born in most countries. Where will the new consumers, borrowers and economy stimulatetors come from............ If not from the immigrants and the children of the ethnic ppl and Muslims? Is ALL this muslim ppl fault?
