They need to fix the free world tier offering, and the pricing to just be able to play at a decent level, or it will never break into any type of mainstream - if its priced like now it will just be a whale crypto game. People are playing now yes, because they can do what they want freely. Right now its actually an open game, soon we will see what is the true impact of the pricing. I dont know many mainstream non-streamer gamers who want to pay 100-200 usd a day to play at a decent level. Do you? Yes axie made a TON of money early, because it was a pyramid scheme its about investing early to get max out before the pyramid collapses, and thats not what i personally want for illuvium. I want a game with gameplay quality first, not crypto money making investment game that sacrificed all to be a p2w game. If they cannot allow mainstream to play for what would be fair money for a fair experience, then they will NEVER have mainstream. Facts. Soon we shall see what they choose and how players will react. I'm telling you, at this point its only a crypto generate game. Can it break out of that? Theres sooo much money in gaming and the truth is whales games earn less money than just huge broadly accepting games because they die out fast and player numbers never get huge - there's literally no monetary reasoning to shut out most of the potential playerbase - all they gotta do is price this normally for a base experience and have extra stuff on top to dump money in and then trust that their devs can make a game of quality to handle itself among games that are judged on gameplay alone.

Okay if everyone plays for free what stops Illuvium from going bankrupt? Or the economics of the market from being terrible? There will be other products that are more accessible
