It did happen in the past. What was my Husband of 23 years and my adult daughter (36yr old) almost destroyed me after a nearly two year plot against me. I was blindsided and did not see it coming. They lied to everyone and were believed (at first) but by the time I got my feet back under me, I was in shock, but knew that my twelve yr old son and my 2 year old grandson, lived in my home and needed protection.
