    Now there are obviously a bunch of other issues currently but this one is something I’ve recently become more annoyed with. I would love a mode that only allows supplies (old Tanki mode) so many players don’t have to be afraid to leave their base

    With the new release of grenades, I don't think it will kill camping. The nature of some turrets (Long range) is to sit and snipe camp usually. I wish they got rid of pulsar, cause it is costly losing supplies all the time. EMP is good, but Jammer is redundant; I think EMP should jam the OD and drone too temporily. Exactly you are right I notice when I play CTF; most of the team is defending the flag and no one going for the flag. I usually have to solo flag running, with maybe 1-2 extra helpers. With light hull the only best option is defender drone to give you that extra HP; I doubt they will increase this. Good points and glad you make other players more aware about camping, thanks for the video.

    Lag also still a issues and sometime crash.Sometime you even see top player in enemy team either as a groups or just op augment.So yeah even though I play around 2019-2024 I still got said old tankionline bring it back🥰🥰.

    Another point i want to mention is that the game was more social back then. People would actually talk about how to act, what should people pick, which flank to push or defend. Now its just dead silence broken by occasional insults.

    Yeah its because how fast paced the game is, you need to play for every second you get, you don't get a break and if you do take a break to talk strategy to your teammates then the enemy team WILL come and get your flag no questions asked, tanki isn't encouraging strategy unfortunately

    Another thing is that the time to kill has been so massively decreased and long range turrets can absolutely obliterate attackers before they can even get close, leading to staying back and thus camping and theres the relatively new miner augment. mines up the entire side of the map so attackers have 0 chance

    You know, I miss when this game was simple, not saying adding things to your game and expanding on it is bad, but as an old player who have quit for a while and came back to playing it, I gotta say it's almost impossible to catch up, now, which made me stop playing again.

    What do you even expect, devs know their game is dead, so now they trying to milk as much money they can from p2w players, before everyone stops playing this dead game, they now don't care about the community, its player base or the youtuber, they just take youtubers/player's feedback make a paper plane out of it, and fly it in the sky

    In my opinion this is the problem: why do most people want to win anything, the prize. When you win in Tanki you get more points and therefore more crystals. The thing is, every player in the game wants cool augments as augments completely change how you will play and usually define your play style. Winning doesn’t help you achieve that, legendary augments are luck based. So the one thing all players want the most, winning has no impact on. Even with the games current meta if you could buy hyper speed rounds, Helios, support nano-bots , etc for even like 5million crystals. You would get people trying to win games. In my opinion there has to be some connection between winning and getting what you want or winning means nothing. The only people that want to win are genuinely just competitive players as they gain nothing from it. Back in the day the crystal grind was real, which is why there was so much more passion and teamwork. Augments are a good change but the way players can get them is cancer. I do also think time to kill is an issue but it won’t fix the problem for the larger player base. You need that feeling that you can log on and there’s something really really sick that is obtainable, but the path to get what you want is a challenge. Right now there is no path, you just play and hope one day a crate you get from daily missions will get lucky. The system know is also a huge cash grab and complete disrespectful to the long term player base, no one has respect for the devs or the game, which also makes people play the game how you showed.

    Huge point to mention is the stupid mining drone and augment. Its impossible to play agro against it and both teams just plant mines so no one can get even close to the objectives and the entire match is just a stalemate. They even showed the ridiculous amount of mines on a field in a vlog and think its balanced. Another point is that they released 4 turrets in a row that are designed to camp so unless you are using an offensive augment camping is the better option. Its sad but its just a Tanki dev classic creates problems that they dont fix or fix after 2 years and the fix itself creates another problem and so the cycle repeats

    I miss the times when the match ended because someone capped 7 flags (ig that was the limit) and not because the time is over.

    I think some of the reasons are the amount of long range turrets added to the game: Scorpion, gauss and shaft are one shot kill turrets most of the time. Time to kill is also a big factor, light hull should get mid hull HP, mid hull should be ~50% of the difference to heavy hulls. Changing the base damage of long range guns, not much, maybe around 10-15% or increase range damage dropoff. Change overdrive of Hulls that promote camping, titans energy shield could be part of the tank, if the titan played pushes forward the shield will follow, allowing the team to gain map controll and space. Maybe rework spawn points, if half of the team is basically in the enemys spawn make the spawn area move with them so only some will spawn in your own spawn and some players will be closer to the enemys base like spawning in the middle of the map. Maybe also add an overlay to show how much map control your team and the enemy team have taken. This would change the playstyle enough i think, a shaft Player might doesnt want to always get back into their base but if he still wants to play shaft, he would need to pick another argument or the team has to Work together more to defend map control and allow shaft Players to use their turret effectively.

    Exactly what I think. I want to play with ligh hull to get around quickly, but I'm faced with a map full of mines (don't forget to augment the Miner), Teslas with beams that capture you at any elevation, (any augment on the Tesla is op, that tower is incredible uh?), heavy tanks at the base. If you don't have a Hopper, Paladin or Trickster you will have a much harder time capturing flags. That's why my favorite mode is point capture, most of these problems are solved in this mode.

    I can see where you're going with this, but from my pov camping is the funnest way to play the game, and mostly any other game similar to this. If absolutely everyone is rushing each others base, then everything feels so rushed and messy, no time to breathe or come up with a plan, and it can be a million times worse when you have that one player on the opposite team who's incredibly skilled that can just spawn kill you and your entire team. I've had too many experiences like that with Tanki including many other games. It's no longer fun and I usually end up leaving the game, which makes me feel crappy because I left my team mid-game. Whereas if everyone's camping, the base is a safe spot that's protected (assuming it's something like capture the flag, etc), it feels super rewarding whenever your team manages to get the flag because then it requires a huge team effort or better yet if you somehow managed to get it by yourself, or lets say you manage to slaughter a bunch of lined-up players in their base before getting taken out yourself. It's moments like that that makes it memorable and rewarding. The battle being slower-paced and campy is one of the things that made og tanki so fun. It wasn't crazy nonsense everywhere, just tanks simply destroying each other and working as a team. Again, I see your pov, but it just doesn't make any sense in my mind. Perhaps you're just a very fast-paced player. I am not. I miss the days when tanki was even more campy than right now. I recently have gotten back into Tanki not too long ago to see what's new, and almost quit playing until I started messing around with the Magnum. I've been having a blast just sitting back and blowing up tanks from a distance since close-range combat is mostly pay-to-win now. Not that long-range isn't either, but if im camping with a Magnum, I can shoot at people without the risk of getting 1-2 shotted. I've been subbed to you for almost a year now I think, and have watched almost every vid since subbing, so I know how much you HATE the Magnum LOL. Sorry I guess. It's just the only way I'm able to enjoy playing the game. It's even more fun when I use the Viking overdrive and angle the Magnum juuuuust right to wreak havoc on all the pay-to-win players. I've also taken out Juggernaughts in moments like that numerous times. Juggernaught is my favorite gamemode. Which we all know is your absolute favorite gamemode :) lollllll

    Exactly. I played on the test platform and that was more fun than I'd had in months. My first game with other players after the testing closed and I left and haven't been back. Nearly my entire team was camping, no one had anyone's back, and the only players going for the goals were me and two others. I stayed because I didn't want the other person to play alone. Everyone else was defending their kd rate from behind a building. Their new tutorial process won't retain new players either.

    For me camping or attacking depends on two things: the type of team that i got and how the team works together. if one of those things or even both happen at the same time i attack. if both fail i start to camp since i only have average turrets to go into close combat. The only time i use my close range turrets are in TDM battles since everyone can colaborate at the same time to get the kills and not just divide the team bewteen protecting or capturing a flag or a point. Only in ASL i play camping always since for me is the most annoying mode specially when you have to be on the point that the other team has to bring the flags.

    I think one thing that could encourage people to play offensively is to make the winning rewards better. Sure, you get more crystals and stuff, but it would be cool if you got a container if your team won. And of course, if you didnt contribute in the battle at all, then you wouldnt get the reward. Or maybe, the winning rewards could be random, so you have a chance to get 2 hours of premium, a container, or some gold boxes. I feel like that would make people actually wanna win and play offensively, cause right now theres almost no point in winning.

    I also think they should add back when you hold R that you see their augments and protections as well as GS above players, that was pretty cool feature that helped you decide what fights to pick and how to approach the fight.

    Adding Grenades or something else to "fix" camping won't work. Grenades will just make mults and random people randomly sabotage other campers which will just lead to campers either quitting the game from being too annoyed or start attacking to get oneshotted by anything that moves because damage inflation. once again leading to them quitting. Also ability to sabotage other players on your team... what could go wrong... Fix is easy. Nerf OP augments since like 80% of the OP augments are for long range turrets or they turn medium range turrets into camping machines. HEAVY Nerf to Saboteur DRONE not just Miner AUGMENT. The winning team should get some kind of bonus. Like 500 reputation points per match won to help you with phoenix (ik nobody grindin that) or with a random point mission. It also could be extra 500 crystals for low ranks and like extra 3k for legends. A win streak missions that would have no end. Like if you won 100000 MM battles in a row (somehow) you'd just get 50k tankoins or something. These suggestions start making a difference between winning and losing again like the old times instead of just being "you lost well now you'll get 200 crystals less than winning team"

    I totally agree with you. It’s just so annoying when you try to attack and 40 random Scorpion missiles hits you from somewhere, because 2/3 players are hiding in their base. Honestly yeah I leave most of the maps too when my team is too bad/only camping, I mean sure you can carry them but it’s not fun at all, especially if the enemy team is actually good and you’re the only one desperately trying to protect your flag.

    All people camps bcs of this new OP augments that arrived to the game, is impossible to rush without doing kills and get flag when ur opponent hv a buyer augment. Even with ur tank in max

    For the camping problem, they should introduce a zone system, the closer we die to enemy base the more additional points we get. Make it 4 zones, Enemy base zone, hostile zone, friendly zone, our base. Dying in enemy base gives additional 10 points, dying in hostile zone gives 7 points, dying in friendly zone gives 4 points, dying in base gives 2 points. Also they should introduce in-game map feature with zone highlighted in different colors like in PUBG TDM mode

    They should really do something with the score. This top 3 quests or the requirement of you having 100 or more points to even get the stars from battles (you can't get even the bonus star from quick battle)

    I really wish tanki increased the health of medium and light hulls like light hulls should be 3000 and medium 3500. If there is one thing I am mad at tanki for and want them to get rid of permanently before I permanently quit and never play this game again is the miner, blaster, lifeguard, pulsar, status effect augments. That is not tanki online cuz they don't require any skill to use and it just annoys me especially in the solo jug mode where juggernaut now feels weaker than all tanks with you not being able to kill easily on someone with lifeguard and you have to run over so many mines making it unplayable. That is my biggest annoyance with tanki is basically all the augments and the overpowered turret augments greatly contributing to the time to kill. I really need tanki to make a good change to augments and balance as soon as possible instead of not doing it for 4 weeks because of some event.

    To enable actual teamplay they could promote the creation of, say, 8 man clan squads with which you team up against other squads. I think squads are currently very underused partly because there are no real benefits and could be promoted a lot more, through special rewards etc.. broader than just Tanki eSports.

    They should probably increase Hull protection against mines or decrease the mines damage output. If they do something about the mass mining issue, and possibly balance the OP augments then the gameplay would probably be more balanced. But were just gonna have to see how Tanki responds to this issue.

    i do agree, but lifguard helped a lot with it, now i can finally push with hopper and do well, because i have 3k health and cannot be one shotted

    Tanki used to double every tank's HP twice to inspire the players to fight instead of camp.....light hull got 4000 HP and heavy hull got even 8000hp.....it turns out to be a failed attempt,and damn i still miss the old graphic

    I have one solution, maybe its bit to extreme but, lets take a radius around a tank and if that tank stays in that radius for more than lets say 2-3 minutes it will self destruct, the radius should be big enough, and a tank always inside that radius means its heavily camping which is not good. Plus self destructshouldhave option to remove all mines even with miner augment to vanish because the owner self destructed.

    i always knew augments would ruin the game 💀 especially cuz of needing to gamble for every single one, cant even buy a good one with crystals in the garage... everything that's sold for tankoins is so overpriced, where buying it for real money is cheaper than saving up by grinding.. you even need to gamble for turrets and hulls when you start fresh... everything u get on tanki is luck based, u can grind for eternities and never get an augment like hydra for striker.

    I mean if I push and I get hit by 10 different augments and pulsars b4 I even reach halfway thru the base, I rather camp back and chill. Since we can only take 4 protections and now they cost a lot to max out, I feel no one is gonna push. Rather play more stealth mode.

    I can’t remember teamwork was a thing even 5 years ago. Not in the regular matchmaking atleast. The battle in this video apparently from 5 years ago might be one of the good ones. A lot of battles became rigged after a while and it was a sport to find out in time so you could leave and didn’t have to sit through it just to get a worthless reward. I have no idea how it is now. It was yesterday that I tried the game out for the first time in years and had a great time in pro battles. You were the reason actually. I just searched up the game to see what it ended up like and came across your channel. The style of video is no nonsense with no music and great commentary like Shadowvisions had back in 2012.

    This is what the game wanted with the new update the new augments that favors campers over any other kind of players why would u push if u have a hull augment that allows u to mine the whole base and secure the win or a turret augment that can one shot eveyone from the back or maybe maps like berlin or stadium that are literally made only for campers and i'm talking about the new maps after the mm modification ,this is what the meta of the game is and if thet want to change that (i hope so but i dont think they will ) they might consider those things

    I don't think long range guns are really the issue because with camping you often don't get to the actual top of your team unless the maps are really big and open. I'm playing fire toxic mix for small maps and smoky autocannon for medium maps (both on viking) and I'm generally in the top 3 of my team because you can just get so many more kills and hit more players in a short time span. I end up having a lot more deaths than my camping teammates but also a lot more kills. It's a lot more intense and it costs a lot more supplies but it's also what I love especially if I'm playing group with a couple of friends that do the same.

    "Why go on the offense" in CTF mode rather than staying back? Simply because that's how you WIN in that mode. Period. No need for any other reason. If your goal is to complete dailies and just score high, aka just kill people, you've got TDM, Juggernaut and even Siege/CP if you'd like. I'm tired of wasting my supplies playing modes *the way they're supposed to be played* just to end up losing because my teammates are so stupid they brought something like Mammoth + Shaft to CTF. I would really appreciate it if people who don't care about winning, only about their scores, stopped playing CTF, Rugby and Assault modes so that those of us who know how to perform well and win at the same time can have fun in Tanki.

    Taspens the real reason y ppl camp is coz offensive style playing requires a non lag pc like 60 fps atleast n thats impossible now for many gamers😢

    As someone who has played tanki before the introduction of hammer, and vulcan, or even augments and protection modules, the game has gone downhill because of the following issues: + P2W system. + Developers Ignoring Player concerns + Developers not even thinking about possible consequences of their own actions. + Terrible matchmaking that does not take GS into account whatsoever (Currently i am a major in game, with no more thant 4500 GS abouts I get matched up with 5k, 6k, 7k, hell 8k and 9k GS players it is highly unfair and unrewarding) + Randlom lootbox system. Its literally gambling. Here's the deal. A lot of tanki's current paid stuff is not sustainable fore Alternativa or players anymore and here's my reasoning: One, not everyone is willing to sink this much money into a game that brings the most tiny shred of enjoyment for it to feel like it isnt shit. Second, the containers are great and all, but their probabilities for getting an augment or a buttload of crystals are worse than almost every gacha game ever. Unless you have every paint in the game, you are more than likely getting a paint you dont want, supplies, or crystals. And the crystals are pretty much at this point the only reason people open containers. I also hate the mission where it tells you to open containers because you have to open 10 containers minimum to complete that mission unless you only have once container, practically wasting all of your containers to continue playing for the day. I personally want that to be gotten rid of. Finally, the matchmaking. Ohhhh my GOD the matchmaking.... Its still bad. Its laughably bad. I just wish that you could do your missions in pro battles as well as matchmaking, then it would take the stress out of it. Additionally, the competitive players fail to realize that... not everyone likes to win and they get toxic about how everyone sucks when they are a 9k GS player pubstomping a bunch of people who cant or havent had the chance to upgrade their hulls and turrets. The Devs could have kept the old Paid system and been perfectly fine. Or changed the probabilities in containers to be... more worthwhile. And additionally, there's little people can do if someone has 4.5k or 5k GS and they are going up against a Legend 4, 9999 GS gamer with the most meta choices in the game steamrolling a pub like its nothing. Its more the highest GS players tend to decide what happens to the server. The old tanki may have had issues with server lag but honestly that paled in comparison to the QoL changes. I... I truly could go on but this has gone long enough already.

    See, when it comes to hulls, I have to disagree. In the average battle, there's a decent mix of heavy, medium and light. People like how light hulls are small, quick, and maneuverable, and like heavies because they have a lot of health. Of course, people are going to prefer mediums over both, because they have a mix, and so you always see a lot of vikings, hunters, and crusaders. Not to mention that the light hull health should not be changed. This would massively affect the balance of the game, since so many parameters (of just about everything) hinge on the max health of a hull. If you change a hull's max health, you are forced to rework a decent amount of the game

    Most obvious points have not been mentioned. 1) Extremizing PayToParticipate got rid of all Free Players, adult age, who were the guys able to play the game. 2) Average age dropped to Toddler level. 3) Kids buy all OP equipment quickly, no patience/time to learn skills. 4) Camping is just a consequence of the problem. Kids brain is not developed for Logic. They are too young for strategy, tactic, teamwork. 5) There is no way back.

    I still think grenades will make it even worse: "why use my turret if i can throw a grenade that the opponent doesn't have protection against". "Oh so I'm about to die, throw grenade" "Enemies are pushing to the objective, lemme throw a grenade" Literally will be braindead gameplay, you will try to get to an objective and will be spammed by grenades, now mix grenades + the brain dead bs that is already in-game.

    Oh, don't worry. Tanki will make a protection for grenades and be happy to charge you for it. You are 100% correct. Grenades are going to make things so much worse.

    I returned to tanki after a while (this was about a year ago), and decided to use the classic XPBP setup, both of which were mk7. The amount of campers and OP augments and heavy hulls ruined it. With that setup, I’m nearly always bottom of the team now. I switched to shaft and Viking, because of overdrive on Viking and the damage on shaft, and all of a sudden, I was staying in the top half of the leaderboards despite my shaft being a mk5 and the Viking being a mk4, with no good drones and the only augment being the close band emitter in shaft. Camping meta has increased and it’s ruining the game

    Augments dont matter. More than snything trying to attack when there are drones that you can put 488888 mines down in 2 seconds. Takes all skill away from ctf and other amazing modes

    I think main problem is how long range turrets are just strongest in game and most of the players perform decent (or are able to kill enemy players) with them. I would suggest general nerf or rework of long range turrets. I truly dont know how would I rework them but maybe decrease range but that goes against logic of "long range" turret. I would nerf scorpion so it would work like gauss. If you shoot salvo then you cant use arcade mode until you reloaded, decrease overall salvo reload speed (so players dont have to wait 10s ) but also overall dmg. Not 20 rockets dealing 10K dmg... like tornado can and while you are waiting for salvo reload you can shot arcade... its bullshit. Example of shaft nerf - energy consumption also for arcade shots, why unlimited energy with hitscan with super range ? Thats just BS... Let them have energy like RFM have so they have carefully use their energy. Gauss is +- ok as it is it just need to have removed guaranteed status effects for salvo and its OK. Magnum nerf would be remove from this game :D thats what it deserve Railgun seem to be +- decent? I dont know, its annoying but its not as easy as others. Tesla deserve to be nerfed too, its most annoying turret in game with magnum. Crits chance need to be seriously nerfed. Dmg is also absurd. Pulsar HEAVILY nerf for crits. I dont know why every tesla status effect have build in ricochet effect for that electric ball. There is augment for it so why this augment exists when literally every status have it. Ball should have way shorter lifetime than it have. Exception maybe also electroturret and that another augment for super slow ball. It looks like devs dont play this game at all.

    I am a camper,why do i camp ? Because there are less supplies consumption if you don't get killed often , Calculation time:if you don't get killed you will use 1 supply for a minute= 12 supplies for whole game If you are not a camper you will got to enemies camp for each 30 sec suply time = min 25 max 30 supplies if you calculate this for 3 games (daily missions) you will consume more than they will provide in regular cointainers(3 Daily containers=100 attack supply and 1000 crystels and 100 mines) not worth to waste my supplies 🤣 If you see other KZreadrs you will find there are less than 2k supplies 😮‍💨 (kola,shineofsun,B N W E(300O speed bosters))
