Kurt Hugo had them record their vocal parts, then used some of their vocals as samples that he remixed into instrumental sounds that he used as "instruments" in this track. he also put some sound effects on their vocals here and there, as he is portraying being a DJ playing and remixing VP as instruments. That is why they sound a bit "unnatural" here and there on this particular track. That is why they have cords "plugged" into various parts of their bodies, to portray being a plugged in instrument.

If you saw the start you saw Kurt plugging them in to his instruments. That's the deal; he is pretending to use their voices as instruments. Geoff as bass guitar, Eli as keyboard, Layne as drum machine. Etc. Such fun. And yes their voices have been tinkered with in places. I loved watching this and your reactions. :)

Love watching your reactions to Voiceplay! This one had me confused, because of the synthesization of the vocals. I had to learn from others that they recorded this and then Kurt Hugo used their voices to create the sounds. That's why it's on his channel, and not VP's. I look forward to your next reaction! Geoff and the bass singer from Home Free are know for hitting sub harmonic (hell’s basement) notes. It is insane and shouldn’t be possible but that is what makes them so amazing.

Yo Van!What s up brother the cords in their arms neck and head is because the dj was plugging into the group because they were the instruments and Kurt Schneiderman the dj is the one who made this arrangement he recorded their voices on some parts and pretended to play the instruments but it was their voice except for the last beat for Geoff was an audiomix of his voice!🔥🔥🔥😎🎼🎶🎵

Exactly. And there's groups and singers still singing from the 70s and 80s. Voiceplay was almost 40 when they did Boy Bands In 5 Minutes. And 41 year old Geoff just did Way Down a few months ago. So don't write yourself off. I'm 63 but my heart is still young.

Re your comment about not too many 44 year olds doing this: All of them, Layne, Geoff, Earl and Eli were all in high school at the same time. They are in their early 40s. They issued their first album in 97 (under another name) when they got out of high school. So you might not of been washed up yet, lol.

I always forget that he wasn’t with them all along because he fits in so seamlessly and I knew that they competed in high school when he was in Leesburg and they were in Orlando. Thanks for catching it. Darn it I proofread and proofread and I always miss something. 🤦🏼‍♀️
