Such scenes and cutaway seems to be missing in the more recent seasons. Too much emphasis on shocking twists, emotional trauma, etc. Sometimes you just want to see hilarious interactions between the team members.

@@bentencho You are so correct! The newer seasons are interesting but they are losing focus on the characters individual personalities. I always loved how even tho all the detectives had different beliefs and mindsets, they knew how to put it aside or would learn throughout the episode to be open minded and focus on caring for the victim and solving the investigation!

Well it’s not something to make a fuss about. It should be that way in the real world, too, so when these shows normalise it, hopefully it makes other people think, too - what’s the big deal? This is 23 years old - things have improved a lot between then and now for the LGBTQIA+ community. 😊

@@axiomist4488 So it's significant, because LGBTQIA+ acceptance is becoming more mainstream due to beloved TV characters being accepting - people like to emulate their favourite TV (or film) characters, so hopefully they have followed suit. Besides, they've had at least two religious detectives - Elliot and Sunny - and they also have no issue with the LGBTQIA+ community - to me, that shows that you can be religious AND tolerant, too. It's not hard.
That ending was funny like, "Sorry, detectives, you were saying?"
5:30 - 5:47 I mean, he's not wrong. But I can see why Cragen was exasperated nonetheless . . .

He was there for the first season only. Idk why the actor left, but the character was written as being unable to handle some of the things that was happening around him. He literally sat by Capt. Cragen's desk, crying, saying he couldn't handle what happened to a woman Cragen sent him to find. So he decided to transfer.

Too bad almost all of what he said was later proven to be wrong. That had no place in the story. All of those ethics violations were found to be lies by a Democrat that lost his seat the next election. Little has changed over the years. New dems, new lies about republicans.

Spoilers: If I remember correctly, Jesse was black out drunk, and was on the roof. Ray baited Seth up there, told him Jesse was in to him and wanted a piece. Jesse woke up to Seth giving him a BJ and lost it, and beat Seth to death. Ray knew and laughed for setting it all up, told Jesse “welcome to the family” (remember, they have a violent trash past). Jesse got busted, but Ray got in more trouble for setting it all up.

Actually New York has been releasing violent criminals because of so called overcrowding (yet they keep the ones locked up for drug use and possession). You also don’t do 25 years if you are sentenced to 25 years. What exactly are you talking about? Nothing unrealistic here. You would know if you knew what you were talking about.
