Murder on the beach. Opens with Stabler approaching his daughter and a guy she's talking to. Me: Yup.
*Tells her to stay in the car* Her: "And then I didn't!"
It definitely feels weird seeing an episode from the year 2000 from a show that’s still on in 2022 with the same main characters

You have to love how, for once, everyone supporting the arrested person (Michael) is actually a great thing. He has to be one of the most tragic cases as he was abused for years and didn't say anything. He deserved far better than what he got and while he did do wrong by murdering the guy, can you really blame him?

You have to feel bad for stabler in this moment cuz you always tries to make sure that he doesn't bring his work calling him even though that may cause issues with their family but this time he was trying to do the right thing only for his daughter to see something she shouldn't, despite all his problems he does care about his family yeah okay you got to give him credit for that..
What a bright girl. Daddy stops off at something serious looking and tells her to stay and lock the car but she decides let's see what's going on? 🙄

@@bananacathammock what's amazing about it? If you have a big trunk you can store a large extinguisher, if not, a smaller extinguisher. One important thing is to have it clipped in place, so it doesn't go flying if you're in a crash. @@bananacathammock It's not like everyone does it where I live, certainly not even 50%, but it's common amongst first responders and people I know to be careful (the ones who also have carbon monoxide alarms in their houses, etc) . You don't think about it until you need it, but when you need it, you're really glad to have it.
So according to the school counselor, Michael is withdrawn and not very social, really only hanging out with that one guy and a few others, yet the entire student body and faculty know and like him enough to be on his side implicitly? *And* he is a new student? Also, Maurene was practically asking to be traumatized. Her father - a *seasoned detective* - tells her to lock the car and to stay put, and she decided to ignore him. Of course she couldn't know that it was a body on fire, but still. She directly ignored her father's order and that's completely on her. Curiosity killed the cat:Curiosity traumatized the child.

Yeah she should have listened to her parents but hey, so did millions of other kids and yet they didn't witness a body.
“Serious Feng-Shui problem.” 😆
She should've listened. Her dad is a detective, how does she not think "hey, he seems serious. This looks serious, I'll stay here where it's safe." Instead she's just like "that looks like a dangerous serious situation...but I'm kinda curious 👀 I'm sure it'll be okay if I just take a peek. Sure my dad told me to stay here but y'know he probably wasn't serious" Like what??? Girl??? That's so dumb!!!! STAY. IN. THE. CAR. oh my god you're just ASKING for trauma
Y'all are sick in the comments saying ya don't feel for the little girl? Like gotta understand kids will do the opposite of what parenrs say they'll wander around and do stuff. So i do feel extremely bad for the little gjrl who saw the deceased body and i feel bad for the victim who passed away

My daddy was very much like stabler. If he told me to stay in the car i knew he had a reason. SO I STAYED IN THE CAR. Rather than to get traumatized. Also why is she crying daddy taught me to be strong
