Not far, all it would take is one window to be overrun for everyone to be fucked. Those first room guns are INSANELY weak after a few rounds. Also the need to continually re-up on ammo would be detrimental as well

Round 7 - 10 is my guess.

M14 and FNFAL were so slept on. The lag compensation on this game and trigger cap made them a bit harder to use though

Idk maybe I'm just weird but the m14 gun sound plus the sound of the hit markers is one of the most satisfying sound in CoD

Bruh tbh M14 was goated. 2 shots from pretty much any range. Top tier upload as usual bro💯

M14 with grip was insane if you had a good trigger finger. Used to run a whole search team using them. Sometimes I'd use warlord pro, grip + red dot.

I liked how m14 had only vertical kick... The FAL had annoying random side recoil that would throw you off

I remember when I first started playing this game and I ran this gun. It had surprisingly great hipfire and you you could shotgun with it much better than the FAL. Ultimately, I discovered the Spas-12 and the rest is history. I got 35,000 kills with the spas and people used to laugh at my combat record, good times

The memories and nostalgia you bring back. How I wish I could go back for just one day playing BO and 2009 MW2. Now I'm 27 married and have two kids. Thank you for keeping these games alive.

I always jumped back and forth with the M14 and FAL in Black Ops. I tended to favor the M14 because it had a more predictable recoil pattern. But having to choose between an optic or a foregrip was the real challenge.

I always used warlord pro with my m14, paired with flak jacket pro and tac mask pro the class was almost unstoppable

i posted this rushing class somewhere else a long time ago but now that it's a bit relevant i'd like to share it again: m14 extended mag ballistic knife lightweight steady aim marathon/hacker/ninja (depends on the map and the opponents you're fighting, you generally don't need to sprint for very long when you're inside of a building so marathon isn't essential) hipfire at shotgun range, aim at longer distances, and switch to the ballistic knife so you can stab people when rushing into buildings. the extended mag is so you don't have to stop and reload as often which means you can keep up your momentum. very fun on nuketown.

I loved the m14 with grip and acog scope when I first played bo1 I enjoyed using it as a psuedo sniper rifle since the dragunov was crap

“We got the yellow reticle the yellow lens and the gold camo lookin clean as ever-“ and then death lmao shit was hilarious

This was one of my most used guns and the gun I got the highest percentage of headshots with not counting snipers. I loved the look of no camo and always got happy to use it when long range maps came up

The M14 has been a trusty steed in many games, often underrated!

I loved using Red dot and grip on the M14 I had to control that trigger finger though because the recoil was a bit angry 😂

I always used flamethrower for the M14 and M16, it especially made the M16 look cooler. Went into building I could just burn everyone and go outside and shoot at range.

I don’t even remember the M14 clapping this hard in BO1 😂 I guess I never really gave it a chance, or had a bad impression of it due to Zombies

I didn’t sleep on it. Definitely was one of my fav guns in the game.

I'm a simple man. I see Fortunate and I see M14 I click.

The m14 was one of my favorite on multiplayer. I had a lot of fun with this gun using the flamethrower attachment.

M14s only problem was if you had any trigger finger at all, youd be shooting the ceiling quick. Does get you alot of headahots, tho.

I had a love hate relationship with this weapon. If you tried firing too fast it would get stuck and you couldn't shoot for a little bit

What does the suppressor do other than hide you on the mini map I always used the grip with the hardened perk?

Ghost doesn't make you invisible from a motion sensor. Hacker Pro does.

M14 was so much cleaner than the FAL.

TDM is populated well enough to find a game in like 5-10 seconds usually. Hardcore TDM is still usually findable but there are peak times for it. Same for S&D. Don't forget to try and join recent players' matches too if you can't find a game. Sometimes they'll be 3 or lower bars since this game has P2P servers and not dedicated, but on 360 it is very much alive.
