This Guitar Was A Gift From Les Paul Himself?

Музыка

Today we're hanging out with ‪@ArielPosen‬ at Big House Guitars, and we got to look at some of the most pristine vintage guitars I've ever seen, including a '52 gold top that was GIVEN to its original owner by Les Paul himself. We also got to play the only 4x15 Marshall cab I've ever come across, and it's gnarly.
Thanks to Big House Guitars for letting us goof off with their most expensive instruments, go check them out if you're in Atlanta

Thanks to Ariel Posen as well for taking some time before his gig to hang out! Follow him if you don't already, and check out his tour dates!

How's it going? The first big concert I ever went to was at the old Municipal Auditorium in 1975. You guys were on the bill with Mahogany Rush and Queen. The Municipal was one of Atlanta's great venues, and everybody kicked ass that night. Kansas went on to become one of my favorite bands of all time! I miss Atlanta, and I miss those days. Hats off CHEERS!

@@stewarttomkinson3356probably in fact 99% of vintage instruments actually have demonic possession. The Catholic Church doesn’t consider items to be exorcised only places and people so there’s no hope to save them. Might as well sell everything for a loss and stick to new gear.

He usually tours with two guitars one in a lowered standard tuning I think B standard and one in a lowered open tuning. Then between the two and capos he can play it in a variety of tunings. He’s a master of dynamics too. I love seeing him live.

In 1974 I met a fellow student who was an EE major, and also played in a local R&B band. He owned a ‘52, looked just like that one, with maybe a bit of age showing. At the time it seemed like the holy grail when he offered me to play it through his Marshall occasionally. I think he mentioned that he had paid the then hefty price of some $ 1500+ for it.
