The second game he could see the SCV transfer he had an Overlord in place.... He just didn't react or didn't notice on mini map.

Will the trick work with Protoss? Before the tower collapses you start to build a Pylon very close. After tower collapse the Pylon will be canceled and you build the Nexus.
