Except that's what everyone wanted from Josh too, and he did it, and yet he's been using them for over a year and they still aren't for sale anywhere. You'd think you would want a huge reputatable company on it, yet in that case I just don't know.

Sounds like water pump issues. When ever i fished tournaments we would go the the rocks on the outside bends and xatch a limit of small ones then start culling. Great vid and keep your powder dry and your pantry stocked young man 💪😎🙏🏾

Spencer did your water pump impeller go bad,or possibly a stuck poppet valve?Hopefully just a impeller replacement and check/clean out the thermostat and all of the hoses associated with the cooling system.Hope its a easy fix.Might also wanna check the VST cannister and replace the filter incase of any water in your fuel,we get alot of that in our area when it rains alot.Gas stations with water in their tanks and lack of the store owners to replace their filters regularly seems to be the cause.

My neighbor for many years sold and serviced Evinrudes and Johnson’s. Called Mercuriys black anchors. Good luck with the tourney.

It is not to often a person gets the opportunity to meet someone they look up to. Today I just so happened to run into Spencer at a gas station here in town, well more like I rolled my window down and yelled I love you youtube videos. Lol. I did have the opportunity to shake his hand and talk a little about fishing. Spencer thanks for allowing me to interrupt you pumping gas, also thanks being a genuine nice dude.

Good entertaining video but most importantly, looks like you are having a lot of fun!!

My family had a cabin on the riverfront, near Port Louisa; south of where you were. Wife and I would fish the backwaters for sunfish. Fish the small wing dams and off the dock for cats. Always caught fish. Never a bad weekend. We only got rid of it because we got tired of half of summer was flood cleanup. Hope you had a good tournament. BTW - fan of your cooking too!

Great video, what little I work on Merc's most the time it's a water pump but merc's have a history of circuit board desalination and tends to show up after the motor warms up !

Hope you got that main engine lined out Spence, man I know what it's like to be way up or down a river and your big motor gives out and you're stuck with toodling back with a trolling motor, but thank God you have a trolling motor and decent batteries. A many years ago I was out with my Dad in his old boat and we must've been, I don't know, by the way of the water, probably 7-8 miles, but his big engine gave out but he did have a trolling motor, wasn't the best but it did the job, even though it was about 10 or 11 in the morning and by the time we got back to the boat ramp it was 4 or 5 pm, course we had to stop every so often to rest the trolling motor and the battery, you know. Anywho, take care buddy, 🤙🤘✌️, oh I forgot to say that we were on the other side of that big lake or big reservoir actually, big reservoir. Lol!

Is it pissing water out the tattle tell, then we know it's not hot, because you just fired up. So what other symptoms cause alarms to sound, does it have water in fuel system alarm, low water flow alarm, it's just a matter of knowing what sets off an alarm to figure out majority of issues that any engine has to eliminate it down to the cause of this problem. Yes I know that it's your engine, but simply reminding you of the few things that will cause it to do what it's doing so that you can possibly make minor repairs yourself, and save the trip as well as lot's of dollars time and inconvenience for everyone involved. Good luck on the up coming tournament. Hope y'all catch a limit of monsters. PS Ever thought of adding a solar charger to maintain your batteries during the day, because you always fish off the back, and rarely go very far up either side so it wouldn't be hard to wire it on either side for connecting solar panel large enough to trickle charge the batteries some. Because even great batteries need a little extra juice whenever possible.

Love watching your videos catching but also would like to see you include one of your techniques of cleaning a few . Any chance of that ?

Nothing quite like the feeling of being in the middle of the Mississippi and the motor won't run. No one to call. I've polled and paddled my way back to ramp too many times. My next boat I'm seriously considering a lightweight backup motor that's enough to get back to the ramp.

Spencer, do you think the 9.5 foot whisker seeker casting rod is good for shore fishing? Currently using a 7.5 whisker seeker. I’m looking for a little more casting distance but not sure how it will feel 2 ft longer

My brother told me that fish don’t bite when there’s gar. I caught my first one ever last month and now it’s an itch that needs scratched lol

Well something is better then nothing lol. Also you got the smalls out of the way. Day 1 of tournament you will get 3 fish and all over 30lbs.

You fellas need to find a mud flat prolly hard to find on the river.

When my motor does that i just disconnect from the battery for about 15 seconds. Then put it back on and bam it works.
