@@hanan9807 no? The banner rates for weapon banners are the same. It's 75% to get a rate-up weapon vs 25% to get standard weapon in both games. Only difference is in Genshin, the banner has 2 rate -up weapons, while in Star Rail, only one lightcone is rate-up per lightcone banner. This means in Genshin, if you're targeting a weapon, you're looking at a 37.5% chance of getting it (since you also need to win the _right_ rate-up weapon). But everything else is same. If you got a standard weapon/LC from the banner, you are guaranteed to get the rate-up weapon/LC the next time a 5 star shows up on the weapon/LC banner. In the case of Genshin, that can be one of the two rate-ups, in HSR, it's the rate-up on the banner you're pulling. And this guarantee does carry over in both.

Genshin's producer is the producer that used to be stingy with HI3, Cai Haoyu. And in 2017 the producer was changed from Cai to David Jiang and HI3 began getting a ton of rewards under his leadership. Funny how David Jiang is also the producer of Honkai Star Rail...

Now in the next patch they lower the pity by 10. And make it easier to full gear 10 pull guarantee one rate up stigmata/weapon. So if lucky you can full gear a character in 40 pulls.

Someone please fire Cai Haoyu. He's the person responsible for all the Genshin developers getting criticized that it's not funny anymore. Especially coz everyone's like "oh the devs are so greedy" and "i hate the devs" etc, but remember the devs are the normal business men and women that are just tryna make a living working under a company to just produce some updates for a game. Cai Haoyu is the one that decides everything, and he's horrid at it.

They get happy when they get floor 12 in abyss, but we have that? They get happy for a 240 resin cap, But artifacts are 40 each? In genshin its 20 each, so it makes sense its 160. If artifacts are 40 traiblaze power, then the trailblaze cap SHOULD be 320. Hsr gets more pulls and a free character, Why is this? The duality of genshin community is kinda crazy. If you criticize the game to be too stingy you are called ungrateful in the global community. But when the chinese community want more generous rewards and self respect from the developers the global community are all the suddenly cheering them and discussing if they want to join this. what surprises me is the fact that we did try....in the first anniversary and it worked......a little bit. We got the stuff that originally was meant to be purchasable only, some apology fates of like maybe 10? idk I think it was 8 or something and some resin. Ignoring the actual anniversary awards we were supposed to get obviously. We tried each year after but everybody began trying less and less and we just soon accepted it. Global had barely any power no matter how we complained. We complained about dehya who was widely loved by the vast majority of the global part of the community but in the chinese portion she wasnt very popular and nobody really bothered speaking up atleast not enough for hoyo to care. We tried dude and we simply cant influence anything without also tarnishing our own reputation for the other gaming communities too might I add.

The trouble with Genshin is that he is so popular and attracts a lot of children. No other community has ever done such shameful and bad things as the Genshin community. Like they're literally doxing and harassing the voice actors, or that situation with the cats "because" of the wanderer, or that situation with Game Awards... They've done so much... After grtting into star rail, i redownloaded Genshin after dropping it like a rock a few months after it came out, it was just too big with too much grind and i dont like teleporting somewhere and still having to run 5 minutes to get where i wanna go. I did a random 10 pull i had and got 2 of the limited 5* back to back, got him to 20, saw that I'd need materials from a whole other continent to get him to a reasonable level, and uninstalled Star rail is just appeals to me more and i feel like it respects my time while Genshin does not do either

HSR got a whole lot better for new players after they added the temporary bosses for current 5* banners and already existing 4* characters. Seen post on reddit about how Honkai Impact also had bad rewards, but after three years it got better. The reason - change of the producer. In the first three years, Cai Haoyu was the producer in honkai impact, but right now the producer in Honkai Impact 3rd is David Jiang. Honkai Impact also gives it's players free characters etc. Right now, Honkai Star Rail's producer is David Jiang. Genshin Impact's producer is Cai Haoyu. This is the answer for why Genshin Impact is so stingy with rewards.

Hello box I hope you are doing pretty good.Tbh this is the only way the Genshin developers can open their eyes because after Honkai Star Rail released the game got so popular for Genshin players because there are so much dynamics and features that have never released in Genshin impact, actually you can see that Genshin is trying to copy some of these but come on, Genshin doesn't give us 10 warps for login in every update like Honkai does, the only exception is anniversary and Lantern Rite, If Genshin developers dont dare to change Genshin features and treat their community properly the game will eventually fall. This situation is quite sad for me because such a nice game Genshin is but since there is no competition they don't wanna improve, because I know they can do better but it is what it is I guess.

With the drama that was going on with genshin that I saw online, I ask myself if this game get treated better becouse honkai title is more inportent then genshin for devs and wanted to see if that true. I start to by looking at hok3 and saw how the firts weren't very difrent from how genshin reward now until 3 anniversary, so I wanted to see if something happen that made that change the value of player. I notice that both hsr and hok3 get more generoase reward becase of main producer David Jiang who is charge of both of them while genshin has Cai Haoyu. Cai was also work on hok3 for a time, 3 years exacly until he move and let David take over complitly and in that year hok3 got batter reward from there. I hear Cai is stigy dirctor and the way both early hok3 and genshin are show that. Aslo I would like for people to know that both games have inportent for hoyo and the reward have nothing to do with priviligies for the "honkai" title. I would aslo like for this to show that there is no need to argue with people about it(especally in the 2.0 live chat like now) and they could simply be greatfull for hsr producer.

Honestly, I think Genshin's biggest problem is that it still wants the daily login when it doesn't offer any content justifying daily login. They need to copy Star Rail and make more variations of Spiral Abyss. Star rail now has 2x Memory of Chaos, 1x Pure fiction (maybe this also will become 2x), and 2 infinite play modes in simulated universe. Star Rail has content to keep you going for hundreds and hundreds of hours after you complete everything (which is quite little compared to Genshin, that's just because Genshin's been out so much longer). Genshin has a 2 week refresh of an 1 hour "I will instaclear 9 and 10, need to build correctly for 11, and I'll get 3 stars on 12 if it's not too bad this time". That's it. And events that vary from "come and do dumb minigame for primogems" to "come and do a decent quest and mediocre minigames for primogems". All this said, I still really like Genshin. It's a damn solid game and compared to Star Rail it's a bit more F2P friendly in that duplicates don't scale the 5 stars as crazy much in Genshin, while in Star Rail, some characters legit get 20-40% dmg boosts from eidolons (DHIL E2 is probably the most insane example here). And some of the story quests in Genshin have been legitimately great quests that actually made me care. All this said, we saw that Genshin's team really got their act together and fixed a ton of UI stuff when Star Rail came out and showed it how easily the UI could be done right. What Genshin needs now is to do the following: 1: More non-resin content by default. Abyss spire can't be the only thing. 2: Plan the events a bit better. Right now we've had 3 events in a row that are just boring filler. Itto is a fun character but the beetle fighting is just boring. In general, never let it become 3 events in a row of low value content. 3: Give me options to not have to do daily logins. Let me go to an artifact domain, and spend 80 resin at once instead. Make an 80 resin version of condensed, and let it be used on domains and minibosses. Doing the same miniboss for the 30'th time isn't fun. When you've hit the endgame, Genshin becomes a slog. 4: New players are so far behind in terms of team comps etc, that I think the game needs to address this. If I am a new player today, and I just got world level up to where mobs are lvl 50, and rolled to get Furina, I can't use her for the next 50-100 hours of gameplay probably. New players need the following: Ways to get characters up to lvl 60 without access to their regions, maybe with some penalty added. Better value for their standard banner roll rewards, and access to old major events with discounted rewards. Right now, the new genshin player experience is to be recommended to roll for a character you can't use properly until 50 hours later.

Raiden on her c2 gets double damage. Wryothly almost cant triger his passive without c1. Furina c2 and furina c0 almost different characters. So they are on the same level atleast .

And I think devs also thinking the same thing, for ex: we request loadouts 2-3 years for now, and they just add an auto equip and cover it with the word "loadout". (Hi3 have the real loadout actually)

im just here to say that 2x PF will happen, ill give a short explanation on the new moc and pf cycling moc 1 becomes available at week 0 and will last 6 weeks pf 1 becomes available at week 2 and will last 6 weeks moc 2 becomes available at week 4 and will last 6 weeks pf 2 becomes available at week 6(replacing moc 1) and will last 6 weeks moc 3, etc. etc. this was in the ingame notices, so i just wanted to let people know

@@HuH22132 that gives you like 3-6 stars at best. 3 if you're unlucky. And exploration is not even a repeatable content so we can't rely on it forever. What about the old players who have nothing left to explore?

Free Dr Ratio into 4.4 Lantern Rite/Chinese New Year dissapointment into the upcoming 2.0 livestream (which will be HSR's update of chinese new year) and we're only a few month away from HSR's 1st anniversary, this might quiet down for awhile but i don't see it ending anytime soon. We're also likely only a few month away from ZZZ and Wuthering Waves releasing, the tension in the air is electric.

I love that Box2's stance is LITERAL ELATION in this situation 😂

After playing genshin for 2 yrs I have accepted that there will be no change so I just play super casual and try to have fun

the part about the star rail community rubbing it on genshin is honestly true, i saw it myself on star rail discord when ratio was just announced to be free, people started raiding and trash talking on genshin server, they literally joined the genshin server just to talkshit, though even i too was memeing about it at that time but this shit here, i know thats gone too far that its not even funny anymore we all could just say we're both in the wrong at this point because theres always that guy that will start a fire toward other community or itself

The fight was over months ago. In fact, I’d go as far as to say this was a meaningless battle. Genshin was doomed to lose from the start with the actually useful standard banner units hsr has, along with beginner pulls giving one of em for free.

I was there on the chat, I just want to discuss about Penacony but ppl on livechat were fighting with the Genshin stan. All they said was "Genshin this" "Genshin that" to the point no one discussed or mentioned abt HSR at all, that's just so sad. Well, but actually I think they enjoyed the fighting, so let's just left them be.

*Honkai Players seeing HSR arguing with mindless Genshin Whiteknights* : First time? Joke aside. Reminds me of the good old days when Genshin said Honkai Impact copied Genshin etc. Fun times. Now they are focused on the younger once trying to prove their stance

Gepard: Fine I’ll do it myself

I been playing genshin for like 2 years and i start hsr on 3days before argenti banners end And i can already see the difference between two games tbh. I can spend the same time on both game and hsr will give me more reward or more things to do. Example exploration i always explore with guide for genshin and every area took 3-4 hours to full get everything and even after all that time sometime you don't even get full 10 wishes. In hsr you can spend the same time you can get same or more reward than genshin also even if it is not like crystal reward they give a lot of other stuff like material and so on. That's why i don't do exploration that much anymore unless i really need to cus i feel like it is a waste of time to do.

I miss Genshin. I loved it, but I lost so much motivation to play it.. I have fallen so far behind, I don't feel any urge to catch up. However, I'm definitely more happy playing Star Rail.
