I think he took on board that unlike Joel, Lizzie and Jimmy who are all virtually harmless, this time he risked provoking She Who Is The End of All Living Things, the Warrior Queen GeminiSlay. And she WOULD exact her vengeance for any frustrating shenaniganry.

The fact that Grian was being a mentor in the beginning and warning everyone about the damage this game can do is proof he remembers the time Lizzie rage quit the last time he played ..😂😂😂😂

The part where grian asks gem to jump at the start of the button reminded me of when 5up asked someone (I think steve?) to say 'jump' when he jumped to try test the lag and when his jumps lined up with what he was saying, said something like 'he's just an idiot'.
