In the "Everything Rots!" tape, when Amanda says "it's too late.." maybe the demon has fully possesed her body, and she was trying to get you to help her stop the demon. Or it could be that Rebecca's body has already started decomposing or "rotting" and the demon replaced her.

I love watching different people play this and seeing how their brains works. Some, like MatPat, are programed to see clues EVERYWHERE, even when there aren't any. Some want to play it straight the first time and then mess with everything. Some, like Cory (and myself at times), see something weird happen and want to see how far they can push it. 😊

Amanda is definitely Rebecca. I think Rebecca was killed somehow, but her soul is in Amanda. When the special tape shows Rebecca reading words given to her by the director of the show, they were the names of demons. Lots of the things she says like “I feel myself rotting, I’m out there somewhere” as in her body is rotting in the real world. And when she mentions parents, in the first tape or when she sees the “daddy chicken” she seems upset. Probably reminding her of Sam her dad. And Kate was a good friend to Sam and helped a lot with the show,so she was probably close to Rebecca. After her father went missing Kate was probably all she had left. Kate seems to get more and more important to the story. I also wonder if the letter Amanda was trying to send to her friend (Kate) was saying help. There is a theory that wooly is actually bad, her was put there to make Amanda seem evil, when she “glitches” or acts out and gets upset, I think it’s because Rebecca is in pain and doesn’t really know what happened to her, in small moments she remembers. Other people go way more in depth but I think this theory is true, but who knows.

Also when she says she doesn't know where the parents are, it gives your more evidence. Because in one of the secret vhs tapes it says she was an adopted by Sam. It could also mean her adoptive father sam went missing.

Important tip #2: in the corner next to the TV, there's a leak dripping onto the floor with a flower pot next to it. You can put all the flower pots under the water and sprout them, and give them to the red haired doll sitting on the boxes, but it needs to be her favorite flower Important tip #3: Wooly mentions that peach pie is his favorite, right? Try searching around and see if you can make some ;)

I'll be helping you out as much as possible the more you play this series! Certain key items WILL disappear to make you play the game again so you can catch the secret answer at the right moment. Blabbot is a long secret but it'll be quicker since you found the pause button now! Now: PLEASE WRITE DOWN ALL THE CODES, TIMES, LETTERS, AND NAMES YOU FIND!! THEY HELP YOU PROGRESS IN CERTAIN TAPES!! The bulletin board can be a foreshadow of what secrets you should look out for or what tapes will show written documents as something to watch and listen to verbally. The angrier you get Amanda to be, the more bad endings you get. Sometimes you should listen to Wooly. When he says "you don't have to answer that" in the rotting tape, type "No". Try typing yes after he says this too in another run. HINT: SOMETIMES YOU NEED TO GET AN ANSWER WRONG WHEN TALKING TO AMANDA TO FIND A SECRET, BUT NOT ALWAYS The pause button is so you can pause the tapes whenever you want to find more secrets for the Attic's key items (the locks and the doll, for example). The pause button unlocks a fast forward button too so you can get the secrets faster, and wont have to wait for the tapes to end on their own. The paper with the colors and potato is for the paper on the bulletin board. The peach you found can lead to a secret tape, I think, but it does something if you bake it in the oven, lol There are mushrooms on a pipe beside a puddle next to the tv, which leads to a few things I won't specify. In the tape where you send a letter to Amanda's "friend," inside the 24/7 store, is a banner above the shelves about Blabbot. The price is a code you can put into him to progress more, but he needs batteries first. You can also wet blabbot to get something from him when he shuts off, but MAKE SURE YOU'RE ABSOLUTELY DONE WITH HIM FIRST. When there's a cake, multiply the candles on one of the cards by 2. It has gotten a lot of people stuck. The flower pots with symbols need to be watered. The flowers I think help with the doll. The potato is for baking a meat pie at some point. The dolls head can be cut off for batteries. The empty shelves beside the tv will hold the secret tapes. So be sure they're all full. I can't think of anything else, but supperhorrobro has finished the game, I recommend looking to his videos if you get stuck, Cory :)

Hey man, I wanted to point out that there is a good ending or true ending and a bad ending 2. My brother played this game and I remember him talking about it earlier. I’m not exactly sure how you can get the good ending, but I’m pretty sure if you follow every one of Amanda’s directions (if I remember correctly), and get to the last tape that she has you’ll be able to decide when she asks you if you want to hear her secret. You can answer either “yes” or “no” a different ending happens depending on what you decide to answer with. I think good ending is if you say no and true if you say you do want to hear her secret. For the bad ending 2, it’s more easier because you’ve already got there. If you reply the tape “Everything Rots!” while having the pause button already put in, instead of pausing it you can skip forward to and when you press it twice when it comes up it (this happens at 26:27) will jump to 28:17 the end and instead of Amanda saying “I think it might to late” she’ll say, “that’s what I was afraid of happening.” you’ll see the skin walker Amanda and die the same way as before. Soooo, kinda no point in getting that one cause you’ll die anyway but just pointing it out. Lastly, from 8:10 to 8:24, it shows on the top of the screen a text saying “New! Blabbot! Only $1503.25!” 150325 is the code you need to put in the colorful robot. I know through tapes there are little things that impact secret tapes and other things like secrets and stuff, but great good so far! I’ll look forward to part 2!
