I remember my first play through of this game, I shot everyone who I could to defend myself and others, I had no idea what was going on and when I played it the second time or so I didn’t shoot anyone and Owen hadn’t killed anyone. That’s a cool detail

Also, you can find him out of the jail, talking how glad he either is that he didn't shot anyone. Or on the other hand regreting that he did, and that he could not look into the eyes of his family after taking someone's life.

Ive tried different options, not killing, killing and killing the most… usually the one that gets you is the jumper but you can get him before he does that!!! I’ve been trying but maybe on pc I’ll try with cheats on to get rid of all of them all and see what can happen

Honestly a resident evil style game that takes place in fear toxin-infested Gotham would be amazing

So many insane easter eggs. You can see the airships get closer to their anchor point, you can see/hear man-bat before the island is unlocked. You can see the fires where the crew goes missing. You can get the rec gun immediately out of gcpd evidence and the cops say “im not stopping him”. Im trying to note more

Fun Fact: The guy in the hood who's smoking is Jason Todd, and In the game files, The model for the smoker is saved as "Jason"

I like to think it is Anarky after looking the letter A on the table and his clothes, there is a theory that about Anarky being killed in the game by Killer Croc, after watching all those Anarky's marks around the city it doesn't make so sense if that was Jason, why would he let himself exposed to the fear toxin?

Another fun fact is that you can attempt to leave the restaurant, and you get out the door, but then the game turns you around and you walk back in.

Wow, this is incredible detail. I never payed attention to that before. Good job finding it.

First time I played I also didn't shoot anyone. I figured they were just people and the fear toxin was doing that to my mind. It was pretty cool to finda that commentary later on. Now I want to see how to cops react if you kill anyone in the intro.

Later you can actually find him at a desk I think and by then, the Fear Toxin worked its way out of the officer’s system

I miss the Arkham series, a shame it was cancelled and shelved after Arkham Knight

The guy who started the initial outbreak of the fear toxin is most definitely Jason Todd, besides the game files calling him Jason there’s also the fact that he’s wearing a red hood, and that he clearly brought the fear toxin intentionally

My first assumption is that it was Anarky from Origins. The red hoodie and “A” etched into the table matches his appearance.

I remember in my first play through I knew it was a fear toxin, so I fired a shot at the ceiling to see what would happen. Even though I didn’t shoot anyone the game still acted like I did. You can’t shoot at all to get this more positive outcome for Officer Owens.

I did the same thing, shot at the ceiling to see if anybody reacted, but I got the dialog about him not shooting anybody.

My first time playing, I actually didn't shoot anyone.

this game ten times better than gotham knights and suicide squad combined. Ive been playing since i was about 7

I actually noticed this on my first playthrough, cool detail.

I like how the opening is basically a nod to the diner issue from the sandman

I always liked the fact that you can see Sefton Hill (game director/co-founder of Rocksteady) leave the diner as you enter

Scarecrow is literally one of the scariest supervillains in DC.

Alright, this is the third time I've tried to post this, but my comment keeps disappearing as soon as I close the video, I don't know if it's the video, my device, or if nothing's wrong and I just can't see them for some reason, but I'll try to reply to it and see if that does anything. The better side effect of this choice comes later on in the game, after he's left the cell. If you didn't shoot anyone, he'll talk about how he's not looking forward to a year of psych evaluation, but it's worth it because he's nothing without this job, but if you did, he knows they're gonna take his badge.

This scared the crap out of me when I was younger.

what about after the end of the main storyline? if you got to him after beating scarecrow he says something like "how am i going to face my wife and kids?", wouls his dialogue be different as well?

First time I played this game, having very little knowledge of Batman, I didn't shoot because I could just tell they were regular Humans. Didn't see this detail though.

I had fun. My only complaint was the glitch that requires you to change your camera's POV during the riddler race . I do not know how changing your camera improves grip on the Batmobile's tires 🤷‍♂️
