First time I ever fished a fluke (shad color) was in Florida just two weeks ago. Rigged it exactly as shown but used 1/16 oz bullet weight. The bite was "soft" and my other friends didn't catch a thing but I tore 'em UP, now! HUGE HUGE fan of the fluke!

Can't ever go wrong with a fluke! I've been fishing flukes on swimbait hooks sense last year. The screw lock hold onto bait & makes them last sooo much longer. Plus u have options of weighted & unweighted hooks. I feel like they have a better bite gap that regular offset.

Great vid as usual. I think the best takeaway from this video is to try out your plastics every single way you can. Don’t just use them for the technique they were originally designed for. It’s not that much time and money to just mess around one day when your say flipping a beaver style bait and then throw on a fluke, then a grub, etc. same with a C-rig, powershot, drop shot, Texas rig, etc. It’s not like the fish know how your “suppose” to be using it. One of the biggest pike I caught was from being bored throwing a spinner bait so I started vertical jigging it over the side of the boat like I was ice fishing lol.

My number one confidence bait over a senko, over a dropshot, over anything, is a weightless fluke. Thrown up shallow, skipped under docks, etc. pop pop, pause, pop, pop, pop, pause. I like a caffeine shad, yamamoto flukes, etc. another deadly technique is to powershot a super fluke. A couple of tips i wish randy hadnt shared is this one, and the one of using keitech style baits as flipping baits on a t-rig with pegged weight or on a powershot.

Just for clarification when Randy said that he uses a bobber stop on that rig it's actually a peg-it. Great tip on that fluke rig Randy. Definitely going to try it next time out. The Zoom Super Fluke is one of my favorite baits ... I have caught many many fish on it just swimming it or using as a soft jerk bait. Never thought of using to flip. So next time on Havasu flipping the tulles that rig will be tied on.

Since you told me about two months ago when you’re done with your Cinco rough it up put it on your net rig well I have been doing that The last two months since you said it, well this morning I figured the day after the rain wouldn’t be too good so I went today between 10 and two I took my fat Albert grub and I squeezed and pushed the hell out of it, and I caught three big bass and the last one I played him out because I flipped into an area that there was no way unless I was jumping in the water I got a move it to a place where I lay down on my chest and you would’ve thought he had a six cents because he just jumped up and smacked me in the face and he didn’t get off the hook and I landed it thank you Randy I don’t listen to too many people when it comes to fission or life I listen to you brother you Matt, Blat, And Edwin Evers and be honest you guys got some good knowledge especially you brother how many fishermen can see they’ve been around for this long I know they are but you know the truth behind the pro life of a pro fisherman I’m a leave it at that fish on brother much success this year

@@randyblaukatintuitive completely understand and by all means, I do understand you put a ton of time into the videos so we do appreciate your tips n tricks. I watch every single one of your videos and am a huge supporter. What I mean by “on the water” maybe if you have 5-10 video ideas then you could take a day and go record all those videos separately. Even if someone else record you on your iphone, that would be cool to see you pitching n flippin in certain situations or showing just how you would work a walking bait or a popper in certain conditions. Then you don’t necessarily have to post all those videos back-to-back, but it would give you extra content to put out when you want to switch it up from the tackle room. Just some friendly feedback, because I know it can be difficult to receive honest feedback sometimes! Either way I’ll keep supporting and watching!
