*LIKE* this video if you want an AIMBOT PERK in MODERN WARFARE III! Idk how this perk made it past my radar, but it's definitely worth discussing since aim assist has gotten so strong over the years AND since Call of Duty Mobile officially coming to PC also means better native controller support

One of the perks i love in CODM that they should bring to console is Firepower support. It’s a blue perk that gives you a 40% chance of getting the streak you destroy if you use a launcher. It incentivizes using launchers and can turn the tide on an enemy so fast.

It's a decent perk but kind of useless for other modes other than dom and hp I think it secretly got nerfed because I don't get streaks as often with it anymore like you use to, despite it being buffed

I actually just starting pinpoint as a perk for fun and one complaint I have with it is that I can’t see the difference between people that are invincible (when they respawn) and people that I outline when I shoot them.

This perk is disgusting with some guns combined. Also it's banned in comps.

The regular playerbase don't see any use of this perk, other than highlighting enemies.

Honestly, either i unintentionally fight the aim assist or i don't even feel it. So when i hear people complaining, i just brush it off

Pinpoint was originally in Infinite Warfare too

The aim assist is pretty unnoticable in CODM, I would say the main feature of Pin Point is the highlighting of enemies. Wallhack perk!

The effect only happens when an enemy hit you or you hit someone, idk about aim assist boost cause I don't use it

For aim assist you need to aim roughly half a meter away from.the target/enemy. The game will then proceed to lock-on by itself (keep in mind that different guns have different aim.assist with the most broken being the M4 in both multiplayer and battle royal) if the enemy is moving aim assist will take even longer to kick in unless the distance of you being ads-ed is extremely close being less than the previous measurement I said (half a meter). **It's weird I know but that's cod mobile for ya**

If you click on the emotes button and then gun emote in the middle of the emote ring, you can view your gun in game like on console and PC

I reckon the reason it only works with a finger on the screen is to stop AIM assist working with alternative inputs

When I played cod mobile (with no emulator or controller) I felt it was really easy to get nukes and high killstreaks without aim assist, no matter how good you are, so it’s interesting to see this perk come into the game

It is easy because everything counts to score unlike regular cod and with or without aim assist matchmaking in pubs always has bots unless it's tournament or ranked

Will the perk have an effect on distance? If it does I'd imagine semi automatic snipers probably might hit a confirmed shot

I don’t really mind the pinpoint perk as in aim assist it doesn’t feel as that much of an increase that I’d get mad over it, the only reason I use pinpoint is for highlighting enemies cause of the stretched res on phones playing comp snd on high fov it’s hard to see people sometimes / being unaware where your getting shot from the red outline helps with that

just curious... how did you emulate cod mobile on kbm? traditionally I used BlueStacks but last time i used it they banned my 4 year old cod mobile account for emulating. :/

watched merk’s video since I was a kid now ya boi is in college

I just use it because I play on 90 fov on a small mobile and the red outline is way more valuable for visibility than the aim assist.

Would like to see Merk use the Cooling Barell for the RPD

The aim assist increase isnt much noticeable, there's not much to worry here. Also the other red perks (like dauntless) are more useful imo-

Diamond grind, is a god dang nightmare.

Diamond btw isn’t like obsidian where it stacks. So even if you get 200 kills you only get a single point of progress

btw the AA with work on gameloop with kbnm you just have you sins way to high for it to work turn it to low or something not so fast it will work but it isnt that strong hints why it wont work well on fast sins just like norm cods.

Hey M3RK, the integrated reflex optic on the PDSW 528 is SUPER broken rn. You should check it out cause it's hilarious.

It's not likely going to be implemented or hinted to be implemented in future CoDs. Though the game is Call of Duty (by Activision), it's mostly overseed by TIMI, a Chinese company. So this is more of a cod mobile exclusive feature than something it would likely come in the future for other CoDs.

Yo! merk why the em2 is so good is because it is one of the few guns in the game that ar 3 shot guns like the man of war and asm10

Fun fact if you use a gun a lot thats fully lvled you get weapon xp cards. You can just put them in the weapon you are camo grinding and unlock everything

for some one that plays codM regulary on pc you do have aimassists but its bugged it does happend sometimes.

merk im pretty sure you can just connect a charger to the mobile device and plug it into your controller or use bluetooth pairing the controller does have to be connected to something first tho because your playstation will just turn on otherwise also theres a certain controller input you have to do to pair it if yo do the input correctly it makes your controller make sounds and it starts blinking thats how i connected it to my mobile device

there def is aim assist for kbm, when you ads on an enemy it follows them for a little bit until they start moving too fast

I only really use this to track enemies it works awfully effective with high alert

I feel as the PC release gets closer they're looking for a way to balance out all platforms in order to give everyone a fair experience

Gameloop players get matched up against other Gameloop players. Don't worry Merk.

Aim assist does work on keyboard and mouse but it can be a bit buggy and depends are certain settings to work properly.

Pinpoint red perk is a good benefit it can actually paired by lmg with hardline blue perk

gotta swap from keyboard to controller in the key bind section of the emulator for your controller to work downfall you have to make your own keybinds for controller

As a cod mobile player and that has played the game for years and ever since the global release of the game, pinpoint is not that good of a perk and tbh the aim assist is not really there on my end and it might work for controller players maybe and also certain mobile fingy players. but i still used the perk just to get the marker on the enemies but i would go towards a different perk like maybe agile or something idk.

I got a bunch of diamond camo weapons so many hours...

There were many videos out there about how well pinpoint changes aim assist and it does change it a bit. Aim assist for Codm overall just isn't super strong especially in MP. For BR aim assist is much more noticeable. The aim assist only slightly drags your crosshair towards the enemy and only within a certain range and the pinpoint perk helps increase the area it does it from but overall isn't super broken aim assist wise.

This perk is so overpowered

Can't believe I have to explain this. as soon as they are in your cross hair, you lock on to the "target' when you aim. It only works when you immediately aim at them. When you keep aiming, it doesn't work. It's basically aim assist for quick scoping

Its very good in ranked while playing on phone. Thats what its mainly used for. Since we go against ipad players. That can play at a better FOV

With that perk it isn't bad but there are better perks like lightweight, flak jacket, and dauntless that is better than pinpoint

The fact is it's actually easier to aim on a phone than on a controller. It's essentially like having a glass touchpad as your camera which is infinitely better than a joystick but still less accurate than a mouse, people are just used to aiming on controller. A lot of people play without AA in CODM, even without gyro you can 100% make it work unlike controller

What's fun is on Xbox, I can have my controller on and plug in a mouse, then use a mouse in my right hand to aim and shoot while using left hand to move and Left trigger aim. Really ez to do and gives you aim assist on a mouse, while on Xbox.

I played Codm on mobile but it is not worth using this perk because it activate only when you are getting damage or hitting someone, and because Time to kill is very low in codm it often dont give enough time to react to you or your enemy.

Tbh, good mobile players don’t even need aim-assist at all, thumb’s precision is basically on the same level as a mouse and albeit the range of motion of a thumb is more limited, it’s all part of the player’s ability

Aim Assist on CoD Mobile seems to be broken than what we have on consoles nowadays.

For platinum you dont have to complete all the assault rifles, you just need to get the original weapons that first released with the game gold, same with smgs, and everything else, u have to get the original weapons gold, not all of them loll

Iv turned off aim assist on Xbox and honestly feels exactly the same.

I play cod mobile in my ipad with a ps5 controller and works just fine and for the Dimond camo is easy to get just play ffa and get 10 kills and back out and you get a point to Dimond.

Only thing with mobile ranked you dont find matches after getting to a certain skill level w controller at least. 🤣

That only happens if you play using emulator or controller but If you play without controller or emulator it's 100% that you can get a lobby in ranked in any tear and if your rank is high you get sweats

As someone who plays both, my kd is exactly no difference in play. the people who cry about aim assist just aren’t good 🤷🏻‍♂️

speaking of bots i wonder how an actual robot would do if one played on controller, with aim assist, on a top of the line pc. there'd surely be a learning curve of detecting friendlies vs enemies, aiming itself, map learning, etc but it'd be extremely interesting to see an actual robot eventually get good enough to wipe a whole team solo lol

I play controller and have a 4090 and get around 400 FPS, in testing whenever i cap my fps to 240 and below my aim assist feels stronger, i believe that console aim assist and aim assist for people below a set amount of frames is stronger

just putting this reminder if you grinding for diamond camos: you need to equip gold camos while getting that 10 kills per matches. its weird that the description for the camo didn't tell you that you need to equip the gold camo while grinding

codm AA work while shooting except for snipers and shotguns

This is good for me since I play codm with a Controller and I get 50% aim assist and assuming this gives 15% more aim assist I’ll get 65% aim assist 😂😂😂😂😂😂

So with the perk it increases aim assist from 40% to 50% but only for AR’s, SMG, and LMG (a lot of people thing the enemy needs to be highlighted for it to work but it is always active even if enemy is not highlighted) P.S. Leakers on duty has more information about the perk on their facebook
