I'm not that good at the game, but AFKay is a 2-7 5 cost (0-5 but gets +2+2 because he didn't attack), plus there is so much AFKay synergy for now in the new expansion like the "put everyone asleep" and "+3+3 freeze", someone will probably make it at least work a little, (Not meta deck level but close enough)

Afk is great. I dont know why Rarran is such an Idiot. Afk is a must kill card or every Minion summoned after her automatically gets +2/+2. Not to mention all the cards that generate multiple tokens or summon something. I see why blizz nerfed her from +3/+3 after internal testing.

Adaptive amalgam will be busted in mech decks, with magnetize you can slap so many useful keywords and you can draw it with tutors for specific tribes. I love that

It’s a little scary with magnetize because after magnetizing a minion onto it, the amalgam itself gains magnetize meaning the second time you draw it, you can attach it for 1 mana with everything that it died with directly onto a mech as some sort of build your own broken magnetic minion. AND THEN the chain doesn’t even end because whatever you magnetize now has all of the text that keeps enchantments and goes back into your deck with the new stat total. It’s actually terrifying and will probably crash people’s clients week 1 after 3-4 magnetics combining way too many cards and effects.

@@imaforceanature7297 "magnetic" itself is not a keyword that gets transfered. There's no way to give the Amalgam itself magnetic. Your worry is unwarrented :P

theoretically cryopractor can be used to either buff your own minions or freeze an opponent's threat practically it won't see play

Incindius can be compared to plague cards. I'd play a 6 mana 2/10 that shuffles 5 plagues into your opponent's deck. No Helya synergy, but considering how often Maw and Paw lives, I think it's reasonable that this might sometimes live too.

Crazy nobody mentioned Shudderblock with Incindius: 15 2 damage cast when drawn spells that go face, even if Incindius dies next turn, that's still 30 free damage in your deck!

Incindius + Mesadune is sick, it's obviously not guaranteed but the potential of having two 3 drop 1/5s that both shuffle 5 eruptions and buff them is kinda nuts

What rarran doesn't realize about adaptive amalgam is it's another mistake for sharpshooter demon hunter :) (context: sharpshooter dh ran mistake with frequency oscillator to have a 0 mana naga, which the deck lost with rotation)

Am I the only one who sees the potential in A.F.Kay? Shes basically just give +2+2 to every minion you summon.

Apparently in testing she was much better than anyone anticipated. Most people assume its a dead card but apparently its better than it seems

It feels like Shaman with its totems and frost spells will have a lot of ease making AFK work if she's viable.

I know this is bait but you need at least three minions to make this just ok, and every class has board wipes that don't trigger death rattles on top of all of this the meta builds of decks right now win in one turn so while you're setting this up for next turn you're opponent is just winning the game, that's why they're called exodia like strategies, exodia was an alternate win condition in yugioh and most strategies involving exodia are just ways to draw your whole deck to get a cheap and easy win off of his alternative win condition

Which is bad? For this to work she should be at least 3 mana. Aggro deck win by turn 5, they have no time for "5 mana do nothing".

10:15 this is huge for hostage paladin, which had to use undatakah + immortal prelate + (deathrattle damage all minions by x) + (recruit/summon undatakah from deck) to cause an infinite loop. now this makes it so any class can pull the combo off

Cryopractitioner is so slept on. Everyone thinks of the 2 mana gain 3/3 card and doesn’t think about this being a 3 mana 6/6 card that can be used immediately following gold panner.

I have hope for Incindius, after all, it will live till the end of your current turn almost no matter what, so it's a garunteed 10 damage to the face and board once you draw your eruptions. Adding it to something like Bomb warrior could cause a lot of mental damage to your opponent, who's already afraid to draw.

King tide seems really cool even in a more minion focused deck, to give some protection to your board on turn 4. Or as an anti combo card vs certain decks, buys you a turn. Or just to cheat your 9 mana spell on turn 5. I also like that eruption elemental. I’m positive it’ll be played

Nah that amalgamation thing is insane in Paladin. You can give it so many keywords through the sparkbots or the pirate stuff or auras. Also gets tutored pretty easily with anything that fetches tribes or the card that grabs cards that didn't start in your deck.

I remember a couple years back I made Hearthstone cards of all the party members in the DnD game I was running. That 4/20 card reminds me of one of them, a Dwarf Fighter. I forget the mana cost, but it was 4/20: "Battlecry: Choose an enemy minion. Battle it to the death!" Totally copied the effect of Warmaul Challenger, but beefed up the stats and cost. I liked the flavor.

Incindius in Brann Warrior is guaranteed 20 damage to face and board if you are at fatigue

The -1/-1 dude is cool to clear some nasty X/1. Maybe the paladin with the recruits with divine shield or stuff like that. It's actually cool

Incindius sounds fun in any deck with buffs, like paladin, 10 base health is so strong with buffs

cryopractor is literally cryostasis on a stick. that card was ok in practice when generated, because having a 3/5 totem is fine, but I think it's an arena card.

Amalgam also is sick for paladin with boogie down and all the buffs

Priest might RUN with incindious cause they can copy it with the 2 mana spell puppet theater if the opponent plays one and amunthuul

One thing about AFKay and the freezing your own minion buff is that... you don't care if you're minion's frozen if it's suffering summoning sickness, I'm not saying those cards are good, I'm saying that's the dream's blizzard is trying to give you.

Interesting how much immortal prelate got powercrept with the amalgam, tho then again it was a rastakan's rumble card

1. Adaptive Amalgam is a better Immortal Prelate since it both costs 1 less and is treated as all minion types 2. I LOVE Incindius. Its an alright card on its own, but there are SO many ways for different classes to make the card insanely powerfull Mage can split it, Warrior can double & Shaman can triple its Battlecry, Rogue can reuse it, Priest can copy it etc

Incindius has a t7 otk in mage. Mesadune on t5, two 1/5 copies of incindius on t6, shuffle 10 eruptions, upgrade them twice to 3 damage, then turn 7 Gaslight gatekeeper+ any draw and kill them.

With paladins lifesteal aura would Beached Whale heal the paladin for 10?

If you're going first, King Tide on 4 will either force them to use their coin for 1 spell or forgo casting altogether

So a long time ago Mark Rosewater wanted to make a card so bad, no one would even consider running it, he made a 6 mana 0/6 that bounces itself to your hand when it blocks. Sounds familiar?

People aren't considering spell damage with incindius. Remember how garotte rogue works, He's gonna redefine spell damage decks.

Incindius could bring back basically garrote rogue but instead of a spell it’s a minion you can bounce and maybe have do more than 2 damage on draw even without spell damage. Thank god it at least comes down late and is a legendary

Incindius looks like a totally OP card in control decks; you play this 2/10 block and get 5 copies of AoE Consecration into your deck that cast when drawn... If this doesn't get played, I don't know what will.

DH Jotjun into Incindius into Magtheridon, and you just got cooked.

I feel like I might not play much during this expansion, the Pirates look oppressive.

I really appreciate that at least they are trying to make interesting cards rather than just focus on making broken competitive crap always.

Pirates are eating good this expac

Pirate stuff looks way too good. Incindius is cool. I think he could be playable. Can even see him go into an elemental deck, which are usually aggro or midrange... at least if they have good drawing power. If you got the drawing power, there is a good potential for face damage. ANd to top it all off, 10 health is nothing to scoff at. Could also be decent in various control decks.

wave pool thrasher seems pretty good because it's a neutral deal 1 to all

I think if there is a way to consistently play and copy Incendius and play him multiple times he is going to get reaaaaalll busted real fast. Havent played in a while though and have no idea whats going on in standard.

brann incindius as a 20 damage finisher in a draw and burn dh? or is 9 too costly for such an idea?

I don't think Rarran understands how handy having a permanent -1/-1 is on a creature is. if the board is full it basically makes sure you have a chance to survive a potentially lethal push.

i think he does, this effect sounds complete ass. In a vacuum there is no way i'm spending 4 mana to have a pretty weak effect that could be good in the best scenario that also reverts once it dies
