@@GetDougDimmadomed clearly you haven’t operated a loader lmao. Did you look up “loader training?” Lol. I’m an engineer for a commercial concrete construction company and I can assure you that no one would be allowed in a loader that large with a 4 hour training. You would DEFINITELY have to work your way up from a back hoe. Secondly, the transmissions on these loaders are nothing like a manual car. They have high, medium and low gearing and no clutch.

@@manspreader6087 One of the ways the school lets the students know they have done a successful senior prank is that they complain in some way about the student's behavior. This class in general were so well behaved, this student only got three parking tickets. And you want to complain about it? He probably ignored them, and they may have forgotten to turn these tickets in. Don't be so lazy next time, you make an old lady think too hard. "wdym" indeed.

@@manspreader6087 That's true, but they were also VERY cool about it. He knew he would get in some trouble, they gave him some punishment, but they all had good humor about it. The parking tickets are usually like, 20 bucks per incident (at my community college) if he got 3, that would be at most 60. That's the most "Haha yes you're in trouble still, but you made me laugh so you're not in real trouble" (also, the tickets were a prank from the staff to the student, he didn't have to pay)

at our rural area high school the seniors drive their farm tractors to school on last day. Usually 20 or 30 of them

I wish i couldve drove mine. I dont remember if it was in one piece at the time though. I bought my JD B when i was 13 and fixed it up a bit but i mustve screwed something up since over the one winter being put away it seized up so i gotta tear it back apart

Our senior prank was 9 pickup truck loads of used car and truck tires that we "borrowed" from behind the local Goodyear tire which was located 1.5 miles from our high school. Between 3 a.m. and 5 a.m. two of us in the back as my friend drove were tossing tires from both sides of the truck covering all 3 soccer and baseball fields, entry road, teacher parking area and the main entrance itself (on the way out) School opened 2 hours late that day, it was the talk of the school. They suspected but we never got caught. :)

A couple holes in your story. One Goodyear doesn't keep tires outside where anyone could take them. Two goodyear has CCTV. Three literally every school has CCTV. Four you said 9 pickup trucks yet only mentioned 3 people so thats not possible. Five even if you made multiple trips there is no way you could do all that in the time span given. Six I find it hard to believe it took only 2 hours to clear the tires.

@@bernardschmitt6389 Ha ha. No holes in my story. These were the used tires that came off the cars that received new tires. They were stacked up in a fenced in area behind the building. Since it was 1980, there were no cameras then or they were just being introduced. It was (9) pick up truck loads, my friend drove and two of us in the rear winging the tires. Graduating class was 500. They knew but couldn't prove it. :) We got away with a lot but never hurt anyone.

Those wouldn't be an official ticket unless issued by the police not the school. At most all they could do is fine him. A suspension for a senior on the last day of school us meaningless.

when you've been at high school for 12 years its good to know all the staff

I graduated a year early cause reasons but a boy in the class I was suppose to graduate with (class of 05) drove himself and his girlfriend (now his wife) to senior prom at our High School on a large John Deere Tractor. His tux was John Deere Green and her Dress was Yellow. Parked that shiny old tractor right among tnose limos. Made the headline of the paper that week too. Paper said that was the most expensive vehicle there. Everyone loved it anf it's still mentioned locally to this day and in online comments like this. They still love to talk about it too and they still jave the old tractor under the shed at their house. I know. I am their neighbor. I am not saying what town or county we are from but I will say this, West Tennessee.

I cannot drive and can not afford a limo so it would not have mattered to me what they showed up in cause I would have been in a Mazda car. But seeing this in person would have been better than a blackand white pic in the paper with a description

This reminds me of the photo with the Ferrari owner who parked in the middle of 2 spaces so he wouldn’t get scratched, but he had 2 parking passes though and put one on each side of the car

One of the boys I grew up with is a few years older than I am (I'm currently 16 and he's 19) and for his prank last year he brought a tractor to school! It's all anybody would talk about all day!

Awesome! A prank that wasn’t destructive and major kudos to the school staff on how they handled it. My class’s senior prank over 50 years ago was collecting as many of the realtor for sale signs as we could find around town (small town) and put them in the front yard of the school.

I love that last line from the news anchor! 😂🤣 So true!

My *first* senior prank (as a high school teacher) was when the seniors took a tarp, strung it between some stone benches that faced each other in a small circle, filled it full of water, and added a bunch of feeder goldfish. unfortunately, it got close to freezing, and the water leaked out, so all we ended up with was icy water with dead goldfish. It wasn't pleasant.

My senior class filled the main office, to the ceiling, with pumpkins a day or two after Halloween; it made the national news.

When I was in HS we towed an old VW to the senior parking lot after midnight and flipped on it's roof. It hadn't been registered in so long the cops had no idea who it originally belonged to.

So glad the school let it ride instead of making it a federal case. This is the America we love

The best would be to go to a scrap yard and get a car that resembles the principle to put in side the loader

We have a local school that is surrounded by farms and luckily has a very big grass field. Every year the roads get flooded with senior students driving various farm equipment to school. When it was banned a lot of the parents allowed their kids to bring the sports cars the parents had to school since the principal was super snooty about his Corvette. We had a game there and it was amazing to go to this farmabilly high school and see the senior parking lot filled with various super cars and they even put the best ones surrounding the parking spaces around the principal. It was absolute gold.

My high school had a student car show every year. In grade 11 I drove my fathers tractor to school, one of my friends brought a backhoe, and another brought a john Deere ride on mower. The backhoe won the prize against some cars that were actually kinda cool. In grade 12 I brought my off road lawn tractor and won the prize that year.

Damn! I remember my last day of 3rd grade I drove my 80cc ATV to school and locked it to the bike rack. This is that times a million

I live in a small farming town and behind our school we have a barn for the agriculture kids and kids who ride their horses to school. Me and a couple of my friends, who are cattle ranchers, and I'm a hay baler, fed the cows in there a bunch of hay, and then herded about 10 of them into the school 2 hours before it opened. Ended up getting the school closed for the day because we put two of the cows into the principal's office and there was cow shit pies all over the school and office

"I'm Chris Hansen, why don't you have a seat? Do you know how young that front end loader is?"

i mean... better than bringing the Killdozer into school atleast lol

To those talking about how the tickets wouldn't have to be paid: Law enforcement aren't the only ones who can give tickets. Just because it's not a ticket backed by law enforcement doesn't mean that it does not carry any weight. For example, it can keep a student from graduating. Add it on to the student fees and they won't get their diploma until it's paid. A side note: if an officer does take post at the school, which isn't uncommon in the United States, and that officer is the one who issues the tickets, then it's completed unrelated when, where, or why it was issued.

We took the principal's BMW, stood it up on it's side to get it through the gates into the "quad". Parked it in front of the admissions office. We didn't damage the car at all. He had to have a crane lift it out......

You can get into a LOT of trouble if they figure out who did the prank. Most of the time the risk isnt worth the reward. So unless you can pull off the prank in a camera blindspot or get most of the kids in your grade to participate then well a senior prank isnt gonna happen. Plus Its hard to find something non-destructive without making a big mess that isnt too difficult for the staff to clean up. The only senior prank i saw was when most of the seniors trashed the hallways with colorful paper streamers. Its was pretty funny but man was the principal pissed off.🤣

We have tractor day where I’m from so this just seems normal to me, not a prank. 😆 In HS, every year we had 1 day to drive our tractors. Obviously, a lot of us had a variety of tractors if we made a day out of it. But if you didn’t have one, a friend would hook up a trailer and haul ya! Or drive your lawnmower 🤷‍♀️ I still have a news paper photo of myself at age 16 sporting carhart overalls, a red bandana and braided pigtails 🥱 20 years later and I can’t say I don’t still sport this look while out on the tractors, just added 2 little boys in carharts.

I’m really glad he didn’t get charged.

I would like to point out the loader only took up one parking space. It is a single vehicle. Unless the size of the space is specifically defined in the rules for the parking permit one vehicle takes up one parking space. One vehicle under the Vehicle Code can be a combination of vehicles. An example is a crew cab dullie pulling a six horse trailer is as much a single vehicle as a “Smart Car”. The bigger problem might be that it does not have a license plate.
