@@bergkatze3186 I don't think the time limit win is bad-just shows how much both players still had to gain advantage in the match. Sure, the opponent may have done some missplays, but it wasn't immediately one-sided imo. And honestly, I just like seeing both players trade plays like that.

You know it's a good game when both players Are close to timing out, had a similar experience when I was playing tear vs branded

@@draconicepic4124 that I do agree with, I was having a good duel in the legends anthology event playing 60 mekk-knights vs zombies and won by time out, I do wish the timer was a little bit longer because it was a fun match but it was just a lame way to win

​@@Kintaku ya honestly I would be happy if they increased it to 400 in stead of 300, especially as someone who plays d/d/d a deck where you have to think of every conceivable way to play out a hand i find that the hardest part of a game isn't your opponent but the timer it's self

I love watching these duels live and then re-living them here on YT, also 3:26 I AM NOT DUMB i just didn't knew that tracer couldn't be used to link summon XD.

coder hasn't learned yet that saying "there's no way they play goddess" gives a 50% chance of putting an underworld goddess in the opponent's extra deck

Blue Eyes has a lot of good support even if its not the best deck by a lot, adding it to a dragon link deck is not going to make it objectively better but if you love Blue Eyes for some reason, this is the way to play it.

@@2awsommee4U strong cards my ass the only cards that are good are spirit dragon, stone of ancients and jet dragon. The rest either have terrible restrictions or effects, are not searchable or get mixed with dark magician for no reason whatsoever. The only thing Blue-Eyes has that gives it an advantage is that its splashable with a lot of stuff but in the end of it all its not even a Blue-Eyes deck its just a turbo deck with some Blue-Eyes cards.

The battle of dragon links is so cool! The light & dark combo is always the best.

Good match. Always like games that go back and forth :)

i used to put a small blue eyes engines (legends of white stone, white stone of ancients, blue eyes and alternative) in my saryuja dragon link deck, and that was during the first 2-3 months of Master Duel.

I faced a dragonlink player that kept trying to use borrelend's negate on Alba Zoa, it went on for like three turns as I just sat on Alba Zoa

Duels like this are the reason I support increasing the timer. Like sure some people just play slow but most of the time when I win by timeout it’s in some of the most fun duels. I’d much rather finish the game in those cases.

@@vexingrabbit1824 it will not be a dead game. But I get that there are people on both sides of the argument. I think a good compromise would be to just increase the timer for Master Rank. It’s not about giving more time to play solitaire, but about giving more time for actual interactive games like this one.

The game should be more harsh when the player is not activating anything. But as long as the player is actually acrivating cards you should never lose the game by default just because you didn’t have time to think through a decision or are getting slaughtered by that Set Crossout Designator you have prompting you in between every single card activation, when you have a trap which you can play in response to an action that doesn’t start a chain such as getting Kaiju’d.

Time limit victories and defeats are so frustrating. If it weren't for every minor action having a slow animation this wouldn't happen as often as it does.

@@Sunsaparilla not for the minor animations such as setting cards, activating cards or effects, as well as summoning basic monsters. The timer does stop for cards with dedicated animations such as signature boss monsters, Win condition effects or iconic spells and traps.

My big complaint with the timer is when it's my turn and I'm trying to do my combo, but my opponent has a response and just doesn't do it, but keeps thinking about it after every action. It's like trying to play "red light, green light" and yugioh at the same time, while on a time limit. I shouldn't lose time because I don't have Call of Duty pro player level reaction speeds. Also, the last 30 seconds are so distracting and I throw every game as soon as it starts flashing those numbers in my face.

Can you do a video on Thunder Dragon Bystial Link? It has beaten my rokket dragon link a few times.

I saw this live and it is a bit unfortunate that it had to end due to time assuming the opponent still had something up his sleeve. The only time this happened to me was during Legends Anthology 1 where I played Nordic Aesir's (one of the best decks for the festival in my opinion) and an actual good Dark Magician player who also was drawing the nuts but they lost due to time limit when my back was against the wall but I still had a way to survive.

I honestly feel for you Red-Eyes players. While Blue-Eyes and Galaxy-Eyes have very clear identities as bricky but decent Turn 2 OTK decks, Red-Eyes have no idea wtf they're doing. The only correlations between most modern Red-Eyes support is that it's strictly worse then Blue-Eyes, and that it is as un-fun as possible A shitty Towers in the form of Red-Eyes Slash Dragon. A fusion monster. With a fusion spell that stops you from summoning anything else for your entire turn. Fun. And then there's the multiple Gemini monsters. Why? Who knows? Dw guys, Red-Eyes is playable. Just run this FTK strategy. That's fun, right?

Usually, if a deck contains 10 or more cards of an archetype, you can call the deck by that name.

@MazterP28 your ban list is quite different than master duel. Coder did a video with a guy called trishula, who plays the deck in paper and has the list you're looking for

They has 18 arbitrary blue eyes engine in their normal ass dragon link deck without grass or anything that benefits 60 cards 😂

Grass isn't absolutely necessary for 60 card decks. Having a large deck isn't as big of a deal as it used to be. Even if you aren't playing Grass, just being on a 60 card deck has several advantages. You won't draw bricks as often, you'll likely still have engine cards left for subsequent turns, and you don't lose to either opposing Grass or mill decks like Runick as easily.

You know Yu-Gi-Oh! has gone too far when your opponent loses due to time limit on turn 4. And it's your turn.

sometimes i really hate the time limit. Yugioh takes time. I understand that it helps prevent slowplaying or stalling but the timer gets close often enough if you dont play set 5 pass
