@@lightman9935 Dragon Link was the top tier threat using mildly broken stuff for ages, now it's a rando rogue deck that's being modified to fight the current top tier threat after taking a time off, so I see it comparatively as the previous villain now fighting the new villain

I actually know the guy who brought the Bystial dragon link deck to the YCS, and funny fact, the pendulum chaos emperor dragon he used was actually the prize card print that he bought at the beginning of the event. He’s a great guy

It has been almost more than 4 years since this deck came to be. I am proud of how far this deck has come, how much it has evolved over the years. From the IB turbo deck that died to one Ash to Borrelend Seal Savage Branded Beast past, so many fond memories.

I love dragon link. It’s a deck that not only can (if you want) use every single mechanic. They are constantly upgraded and have so many variants. The deck has evolved from thunder dragon variants/chaos, to a build a board synchro spam, to halq combos, to DPE/scythe, the deck just takes every generic engine and they just fit so easily in them

@@ashikjaman1940 I mean, back in 2020/2021 it was the most dominant t1 deck. I think that dragon link's "downfall" began with the ban of Elpy, even though it still remained a competitive deck. Now is just not that crazy compared to other decks, one time it was, but that's fine :)

We're at the point where attribute and type relevant handtraps with big bodies that disrupt for cost to special summon themselves and proceed to plus you are just okay

That new beard is lookin good on Gage and it also made his voice deeper

Seeing scarlight red dragon archfiend here makes me smile. Played rokket tracer/recharger/and a level 4 bc at my first locals and scar legitimately almost won me a game I had no right to win

I just realized this deck can make hieratic king of atum fairly easily

Those last games were exhausting just to watch, I can only imagine what playing in this damn format is like. By god please can we get a banlist soon.

Saronir less than a dollar as well as the spell and trap. The others… not so much sadly. Can’t believe they made the entire archetype super rare (Lubellion is secret).

Ninjas have new support cards that give it so much interaction during the opponent's turn banishing summoning everything from your deck setting cards face down negating popping and tributing the opponent's cards to summon more cards that banish it has gotten very strong and can recover from massive advantage loss

I wish this format would last an extra month or two, it's so much fun having just 3 main decks to metagame and the variety in rogue is the best. I wish konami could just make an emergency banlist or a banlist super early (like end of december) because it just feels terrible knowing how much more frustrating and complex the meta game is gonna get (how the fuck is tear allowed to make lulu+a shuffle 3 minimum on turn 0 is beyond me).

if you could make a room for a linguriboh you could just use the iblee your oponent gives you to summon it and get a trap negate, hard to find the space in extra though
