My dog does that to me and my girlfriend all the time. I was once told that dogs didn't like hugs because they feel "restrained" or something like that, but our dog not only doesn't mind, he wags his tail like crazy when he gets hugs so I guess it's different from dog to dog as well as humans.

What a precious pair. When the little one was so sick, he had two angel mom's watching and waiting for him to mend. Sola at his door so obviously worried just touched my heart and now they are all a family.

Oh my god! Sola & Tido! Finally they on the DODO...I'm so happy to see them on the DODO! Sola is such a good border collie!

Sola was so tender with her, actually hugging her, giving her comfort. That is an example for all of us to follow. So heartwarming to watch.

The way Sola waited to see Tido when they were separated is out of true love. Miraculously, Tido survived and now he is not just existing, he is living his life! Love can really create miracles and can heal all wounds.

In my language "Sola" means "The Sun". She was certainly lighting up the dark for Tido.

My Elkhounds have helped me through leg fractures on three different occasions, rounds of eye surgery, and my Mom through strokes and other injuries, and Aani kept vigil with me at the hospice when Mom passed.

The US needs to get mandatory laws for animal welfare....including shuting down feral puppy mills. Registered monitored puppy breeders only...with regular inspections. Cant believe you font have them

I had a Shepard mix I got from a shelter. After a few weeks she was diagnosed with distemper. A friend training to be a vet would come to my house and give her injections. This went on for a month and finally he suggested to put her down. This was a Saturday and my wife wanted to wait until Monday. On that day my friend came to get our Molly. She all of the sudden she got spunky. She was cured until she passed away 13 years later. What a great dog.

Beautiful story…..how happy are dogs when treated w love and respect…..

When she goes up and she hugs him you can just see the love pour off of her.

She treated him like her baby, stayed at the door, and hugged him! So precious!❤

How anyone can give a “thumps down” is surprising, great story, and great case study of dogs having real emotions.

My pup has epilepsy, idiosyncratic seizures, and it’s such a startling thing to witness the first time. My dog went through several homes that abandoned her (and bred her) before she made it home to us. So many people are afraid of seizures, but I encourage you to be patient if you ever find an animal who suffers with them. My girl is so darling, so gentle and sweet, so grateful for our help, and so worth any “trouble” her cluster seizures might cause. Don’t be afraid of dogs with disabilities! They have vibrant lives ahead of them even if they get shaky every once in a while.

I was teary-eyed watching this. Both dogs are so gentle and sweet. ❤️

You're so lucky. I had a pup like that for 16 years. I can't bring myself to get another, it hurt too bad when she passed.

I have tiny tears in my eyes watching these 2 beautiful dogs. I'm so happy they found each other.

You can tell Sola functions on a high level of consciousness and is extremely intelligent, what an amazing dog.
