People can be so wonderful and so awful. I'm glad this dog has only met good people

My neighbors have a dog like Tofu. You can be all up in your head with stress, unloading groceries while thinking of all the other stuff you need to deal with, and suddenly she’s there and so overjoyed to see you and all the stress goes out the window. I just love her.

If I saw Tofu in the window, I would feel obligated to knock on the door and ask if I can talk to him. “He asked me to stop by…”😂❤

My shelter dog is pretty skittish around other dogs, and I could never predict which ones she’d like. I realized recently that she always loves goldens. They’re so nice, and somehow she learned that!

He always grabs something to bring to whoever he meets because deep in the fabric of his being he knows that in order to be his best self, he must RETRIEVE. The literal embodiment of "sharing means caring".

Tofu needs more socialization! ❤ He seems like a big time extrovert who is often just home with mama and perhaps dad too. Like perhaps being a therapy dog at a children’s hospital or elderly home, visiting the dog park, schools, etc.

I'm very glad, a dog with this much positivity towards humans. He's never been mistreated by any person in his life.

Growing up we had a Golden Retriever who was so much like Tofu that it brought tears to my eyes. Whenever one of us came home, Robin HAD to pick up a fallen leaf and bring it up to welcome us with, and he would sniff with the leaf in his mouth the same way Tofu was doing with his toys. Robin was the sweetest, friendliest dog EVER. ❤

My dog was the same way - I'd take her to the Dog Park and she'd play with the other dogs only AFTER meeting every human first. If a new human arrived while she was playing, she'd stop and go meet them. RIP Millie, you were such a good girl!

Imagine being like that dog. Your whole life is just love and you see friends everywhere and you love them with all your heart. What a life!

This baby has serious FOMO. It’s so cute. Him running to the statue is off the chain soul lifting 😂❤.

The window cleaner acknowledges him by smiling and a fist bump, and shrugs when Tofu scratches at the window like "I'd love to pet ya but...!"😭 He loves humans so much that he even ran to greet the statue - I laughed out loud at that one.🤣 Tofu is a big, golden ❤🐞

I am a border collie kinda gal, but even I know these golden retriever & labrador type dogs are angels that walk the earth. So loving, charming, generous, funny, loyal.

Goldens are the best! They love everyone, and always have that sweet happy puppy face no matter how old they are.❤

That's the sweetest dog I've ever seen 🥺

Golden Retrievers are a special breed.

My Springer Spaniel does this, but she’s learned to pick up and hold a toy in her mouth to help her contain her (over)excitement. Before she knew this strategy, she didn’t know what to do with her self around newcomers. When I see her almost imploding from happiness I remind her with a ”Where’s the toy?” and that gives her something to do.

I call for Tofu and his mum to start a KZread channel! It could be called "Tofu Meets People", and be all shorts of Tofu going to parks and beaches, anywhere nice people hang around, and being the adorable wiggle-butt that he is. He would also be absolutely amazing as a therapy doggo.

I think he GIVES loving, not just gets attention... probably senses that everyones some cheer and love, so that One Job is done!

What a wonderful soul! He should be a therapy dog - school? hospital? Or is he too friendly for that even? What a super lovebug.

It's not always about being heartless some people just don't like animals . Not liking pets doesn't make you heartless. Some people are deathly afraid of dogs or have allergies. For people who think they are so compassionate maybe extend some of that to people who don't like what you do.

I have a beautiful pit mix who likes to play with other dogs, doesn't have a mean bone in her body, is always surprised and confused if another animal is aggressive or scared of her. Whenever she is at the dog park she goes to get love from other humans and will also try to leave with them too 😅 I swear she is well loved and treated at home, she just loves people.

I had a golden like this - aggressively adorable. They aren't "bringing" you toys; it just stimulates their pleasure center to be holding something in their mouths. A retrieving instinct.

With Tofu being such a highly social dog, if she hasn't already considered it, perhaps Tofu's mom should really consider in getting Tofu a companion, a brother or sister, to mentally & physically stimulate him as well as keep him preoccupied while he waits for his mom to return home from work. Tofu is such a sweet, loving, well-mannered & beautiful puppy, inside & out! ❤❤❤

Goldens love people and making them happy. They make such great service and therapy dogs.

My dog is just like Tofu and I think it's because of a similar start in a high rise building. She got so used to seeing dozens or even hundreds of people every day living in a big city, just on the way to the ground floor, but less so with other dogs. Now she basically ignores other dogs except her brother, but ADORES every human.

I wish people would get along the same way that this dog gets along with people.

My daughter’s golden is exactly the same way. And people can’t resist him either!
