The time and effort she spent to help her dog make a full recovery is the kind of love I want someone to show me when I'm old and sick.

Thank you so much Ashley, for sharing your baby Nimbus's story with us all. My dog Villo got Cancer 5x and each and every time he fought with all his might to be with us. The day after every surgery, he was wanting to play with his toys and run around, he healed so rapidly. He was our everything and the greatest love of his mommy's life. My baby passed away on 3/21/18 and it was one of the hardest times of my life. He fought Cancer valiantly, but got an embolism after his last surgery. I took him out for his last time and he passed away in my arms. There's not one thing that we wouldn't do for my baby and he fought so hard to be with us too. Bless you and your beautiful baby and know your story hit me in my heart and it will stay with me forever. Wishing you both love and light, my friend 🙏♥️

vannaty - thank you so much for sharing your story! My doxie was the world to me, and I lost him on 12/23/22 to heart disease. It still hurts so bad! I also did everything I could, taking him to the vets every time he had trouble breathing, getting all his medications and making sure he was taking them on a strict schedule, etc. One of my sons told me I needed to let it go, but I can't. The pain is still so raw. The day he passed I received some more pajamas and toys I bought him for Christmas in the mail. I also had wrapped presents, and had to unwrap them and sent everything back. After I returned them it hit me I should've donated them to the shelter! But I was in such a bad state and wasn't thinking straight, then had the guilt of not donating them and losing my baby. I was just a complete mess! I've been going to shelters to adopt, but they mainly have pits, shepherd's, etc. I would love to have a pit, but I'm disabled and don't think I'm strong enough to take them on walks or handle one. I'm looking for a small one, and can't believe how hard it is. The few smaller ones I found are elderly, and after losing one so recent, can't go through that just now. But I keep looking and won't give up! Thank you for sharing your story. It helps me to know it's okay to feel the way I do. I am sorry for your loss and the pain you still feel, no matter when it was.

@@Santi-ft2rs Hello Santi, thank you so much for your comment. I would like to say, just how truly sorry I am, for your loss. It's definitely a pain, I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy. One day my landlord asked me to babysit his dog Rosie and I accepted. I watched her 2x, both for a couple weeks. He asked me to adopt Rosie and I wasn't planning on ever getting another dog. He told me she had separation anxiety and said she missed me when she had to go back home. My point is, just when you least expect it, a beautiful pup will bless you with companionship, once again. I still think of my Villo everyday and can't wait until our reunion in heaven, but for now my little girl Rosie needs me. I'm sure Doxie wants you to be happy again. I believe one day you will find another pup, to spoil and love. They will be so lucky to have you as their mama sweetheart. I wish you love and light, my friend. May peace and healing come your way. All my best, Anna 🙏♥️

@@vannaty7 - My dear friend, you have no idea how true your words are! My little Charlie was actually my son's. He found out the girl he was living with at the time was abusing him really bad when he was at work, so he asked if he could leave Charley with me until he moved out and got things settled. I just found out I had cancer and didn't know if I could handle another dog, but there was no way I could say no! The day he brought him I had my surgery. I was in ICU for a week, then moved to a regular room for almost another week. Coming home was hard at times, as we had a yellow lab and now a weenie dog with an attitude, but looking back I wouldn't have changed anything! Charley made, or I should say "demanded" I get up to feed or take him out, even when I didn't think I could. My husband took care of our lab since he was so carefree and good natured, and Charlie was my responsibility since he didn't listen to him and always gave him attitude. I really believe in my heart he knew what he was doing! Charley got me through my cancer and also after. I had a freak accident years before my cancer where I shattered my leg, and then developed CRPS. I was always in so much pain and had days I just wanted to curl up in bed and not get out when my pain meds didn't help. That was never an option with my Charlie! He made me move whether I wanted to or not! So when his heart disease started getting worse and he was put on more medicine, I knew I had to get out of bed, cause I had to take care of him just as he had taken care of me. Our house is so quiet now. We lost our yellow lab to cancer the year before Charley. I know there is a dog out there for me, but like you said, I just need to wait for them to find me, just as Charley found me when I needed him the most but didn't know it. Thank you for your uplifting note. I can tell you have such a beautiful soul, and Rosie is so lucky to have found you! Best wishes to you and your family.
Nimbus truly is a fluffy little cloud, and very much loved by his dedicated and caring Mama. I hope they have many happy and loved-filled years together, new adventures and lots of treats.💕🐾🐾

Just because you show affection for pets it doesn't mean that you're a compassionate person. Hitler loved his dogs and he was vegan. It's hilarious how people would connect the two that all dog lovers are decent people LMAO! 🤣

I am crying inside... I'm so happy to see Nimbus recover from his paralysis!! It proves that love heals all!!
I know exactly how she felt. I have a dachshund who the vet said had a herniated disk in her back. She couldn't move her hind legs and they said she wouldn't get better without an expensive surgery that I couldn't afford. I resigned myself to making her comfortable, but over time she started using her legs again and now she's back to her old self. From me and my Zoey, congratulations Nimbus.🎉

Love is the strongest force
The title of this video should be "This dog is POOF that love can make miracles happen." ❤
My daschund broke his back & the Royal Vet College here in England was where we took him for treatment (we only live a 5 min drive from it). They operated, did physio, gave him back wheels & said they didn't think he'd ever walk again naturally. With love from us his family, 6 months later the wheels were off and he did walk again. You are so right when you say love cures all ❤❤
My Black Lab had a femoral head osteotomy due to hip dysplasia. It was a long, long recovery, but if you had seen that big dog sprinting across the Painted Desert two years later, you'd never have known. Dogs are amazing.
You're so wonderful for not taking the easy way out!! You're his hero!
A story of 2 heroes!

i love how ashley looks after nimbus
On top of the love, another huge factor was how quickly Nimbus was able to get looked at and treated. What an awesome doggy Mom.
0:07 You could just tell he wanted to run to her but couldn't. Broke my heart. I'm overjoyed that he was able to recover completely! What a great mom you are, and what a loving heart you possess.
Never been this early. Keep making videos! I sit and binge for hours watching these stories. You truly make my day.
Buy him a set of steps made for small dogs so, that they can get up and down from the couch safely. I'm very happy that everything turned out so great in the end for you both. Stay safe and take care.

mayy you live happily forever
I remember a year ago , my dog (she's like the one in this video) got so sick that she couldn't even eat properly without throwing up. We had her checked at the vet and were informed that she's suffering from a chronic disease, she's too weak that it's upto God if she'll live or not . She has a very weak digestive and immune system , she's a fragile dog . But we didn't lose hope and took her to vet everyday , and miraculously she got better . She's still fragile, and does get nosebleeds occasionally but is here with us. It's all about love and care you provide them.
You're the best fur mama ever! 💕
