Not to mention sweet, timid, and gentle! Have you heard of the big cat sanctuary? They have a cheetah named willow whose sole goal in life is to be petted and cuddled. Shes adorable

Cheetah is not a mindless predator, they're capable of understanding affection, they know how to control their strength to not hurt who they like... in fact most Cheetah is introvert, especially in captivity they got depressed easily, that the reason why every Cheetah in captivity get a dog to be friend with... you should atleast research about Cheetah before saying such thing... there is not a single case of Cheetah in captivity killing their dog best friend

I worked in a Veterinary Hospital in Laredo Texas many years ago, a pet female full grown Cheetah was brought in for a minor problem. She stayed there for a while, we would take her out on a leash for exercise. She was a beautiful cat, fun to be around. When you picked up the pace it was like she was saying are you kidding me?

Cheetah's are some of my favorite 'Big Cats'. Another is the Jaguar and a co-worker of mine had one as a 'house kitty' where he lived. It was very friendly once it got to know you and he spent a lot of time with it. Cats of all sizes are just amazing creatures!

This reminds me of the friendship between a male lion and a sausage dog and the chocolate lab, raised together from baby’s they always respect each other and don’t know any difference. Just like the 3 brothers that grew up from abandoned baby’s, a lion, a tiger and a bear, the experts put it down to all being neutered but we will never know.

I have had guardian dog breeds all my life and it is a challenge to socialize them, etc. I cannot imagine how it would be to raise a non-domestic animal like a Cheetah. Beautiful video.

They're great to watch at full speed chasing their prey but I love the cool way they just stroll along slowly. They look so confident and majestic.

I've always heard that cheetahs were the most "domestic" of the big cats. They're still wild animals, of course, but more comfortable around humans and dogs when raised around them. It probably thinks of the dog as a funny-looking member of it's family. So no, the cheetah isn't gonna kill and eat the dog... just as it wouldn't kill and eat another cheetah.
