For me, the best thing about the dagger duchess is that she’s really helpful when your starting hand is bad, because if they spam goblin barrel, hog or something right at the start of the game, she deals tonnes of damage and you don’t really need much to defend

Hot take, but I actually like the bouncing gimmick because it has its ups and downs. You can get multiple shots if your opponent allows it and if you only get one shot, the barbs are bounced away and spawn away from the tower, so it's harder for the barbs to get hits on the tower afterwards.

Not really. We can always block the barbs even if they spawn on the tower like usual. Most of the time it's the bounce that gets damage while the evo barbs can be fully countered.

​@Rikka_V1 Yeah absolutely, but it's nice that the bounce is also a nerf to the evo barbs that spawn regardless of whether it's easy to defend them or not. Especially since the evo barbs still have the rage mechanic when they attack something.

Actually, i think a better strategy is to pressure both lanes than to mainly focus on one, giving pressure to other lane is to relieve some of the push on the already dagger exhausted tower, basically forcing them to go for both towers.

I use it too mirror my Giant skeleton for a strong push. Sometimes I'll just use one and a battle healer and do a double clone to destroy everything in the path
