Disclaimer : We receive a ton of emails and messages from people telling us we filmed them at the ramp this past weekend and they want to know when the video will air. This is not a question we can typically answer. We film from three or more ramps every week and have a massive back log of content and sometime it could be weeks or months after an event occurs before we air the video. We put stuff out as fast as we can but we only air three videos a week and in a typical weekend get 6-10 episodes worth of content meaning we get content faster then we can air it. Thanks for watching and just be sure to keep watching looking for your content it will air but probably not immediately after it happens!

In Pennsylvania we will tow a disabled boat to "nearest safe harbor" as long as we are not busy with enforcement duties. Additionally, if a boat was involved in an accident we are investigating or we arrested the operator for BUI and have no one safe to release the vessel to we tow.

pennsylvaina mandates that the operator must have a pwc license. maybe the driver was unlicensed?
@defresurrection

Sure looked like law enforcement action. I doubt the jet ski was put in the water by a flat bed.

@@izzimichaels2892 I boat in Florida and I don't run PWCs, but I believe PWC captains don't need a license. I'm thinking it may have been kept too long or reported stolen. All wild guesses of course.

@izzimichaels2892 no specific PWC "license" in FL. 14 years old to operate but 18 to rent AND Boater Safety ID if born after 1/1/88.
Those ladies can clean my boat any time. I'd even buy a boat for them to clean.

and they can towel off the seats with their fake long hair!, 😂
Impounding the ski.
Keep cleaning baby keep cleaning 😌
Probably rental jet skis and they kept them longer than they was supposed to and the rental place had to get the law officers assistance to retrieve them back.

I'm not sure the police would do straight-up rental recovery work, but one way or another, I think that ski had been reported stolen.

Yeah, that thing is a hoopty. Lol
It could be an issue with the registration or maybe the Jetski was reported stolen
That boat with the ladies cleaning, gives new meaning to "the thin blue line" holding the boat. That is really a skinny line.
Protect and Serve.
The Coast Guard does a fine job on the Oregon coast. Tillamook Bay jetty. They have vessels that can turn upside down and right themselves. From the Columbia river to South of Depoe Bay. Can’t wait to explore the East Coast. 06 Alumiweld Striker/outboard with a little merc. Lol
I lost power once in high winds and 3' waves. I was in a shipping channel (40+' deep), and my anchor line wasn't long enough. I was pushed to the seawall and was getting horribly beat up. Tow boat was 45 minutes out. I called the local police marine patrol to get me off the seawall, and they handed me off to the tow boat when it arrived. I had a couple of my grandkids with me, but I had placed them on the seawall as soon as we got close to it to keep them safe. They were upset because they didn't like seeing their grandma becoming a bloody mess from trying to keep the boat from getting too beat up. Fenders were useless in that scenario. Cops got the kiddos off the seawall and then threw me a tow line.

Wow, very lucky indeed. Small problems can turn nasty quick on the water.
Yeah, those girls will help you with a dirty boat. ;-)

The jet skiers were probably drinking.
Sherrif does it on lake and river if there. We don't have tow boat service south of Portland oregon. Even on ocean out of newport! Fellow boater or coast guard bless their hearts!!
👍👍
Maybe a spring line, they work in getting off the dock and pulling up to the dock.
I love how they just casually put the entire front hatch of the cabin into the boat 3:49 😂

Wow I missed that, I was staring at other things.
that jet ski was a rental that went M.I.A.
Obviously they towed in a fellow officer.
IN North Florida I was once towed by the Sheriff's department when Tow Boat US declined to get me. ! Boycott Tow Boat !!!
Ten flippers on the bow bad boy
Have a feeling its not just the boat that's dirty
I bet the officers pulled him over for an infraction, ran the number and it was reported stolen. Maybe not by the rider because he wasn't arrested, but at some point.

This seems like the most likely answer.
They got their jet ski repossessed
We all know sweetheart you want a response way to jig the internet😂🎉
No they use self tanner they probably didn't realize it would get all over the seats
When I worked Fire Rescue on the North Shore of Boston, we would never tow a disabled vessel. We were focused on life safety not vessel salvage. We'd tell captains "throw the hook and hope she holds. We're here for YOU, not for the boat."

FDNY towed me out of the East River to the Navy Pier. I had an engine casualty. Another Captain friend nearby took my tow line and we went on our way, to get the problem fixed.

Another reason to hate Boston! As if you needed more than a few hundred, starting with the accent
Seems it would be a safety hazard to leave them floating in the middle of the water. I would imagine it would be in everyone's best interest to get them to a safe point in a timely manner
Baltimore city police towed me once. ❤
I know one thing depends on the deal with Sea Tow shysters.

Where i live the sheriff towes you back
The police on our lake tow people regularly.
Maybe you should go to Miami boat ramp channel
Do people not realize that you go around the post and tie the line to the cleat on your vessel? This gives control to the crew on the vessel and is safer than having someone on the dock.
@darb4091

Oh come on, let's get serious. Look at where they are; most have probably never taken any training, hand anyone teach them or read any material on the matter.
Our boat broke down at the confluence of the St. Croix and Mississippi Rivers. The Sheriff would have towed us to nearest ramp but not 1.5 miles to our marina. We called our marina for a tow but managed to get it started.
DUI
"Courtesy" tows would preclude them from responding to any real incidents; thus I would imagine it is against policy for most agencies.
Here the dnr will give you a tow if you get in an accident.
Watching people who can't even tie a line to a dock makes me think I don't want to be near them on the water.
Drunk-driving or stolen jetski probs.

@@integr8er66 Not necessarily, if the cops already knew someone else had committed the theft and resold it. Or if the "theft" actually boiled down to a dispute or contract disagreement and there was a court order or something like that to confiscate the thing.
Funny they took the jet-ski but not the operator if it came back stolen? Not up-to-date registration would be a ticket.
7:00 song name someone ? :D
Merc at 210 wasnt pumpin water…
Could the marine police be impounding the skis due to expired registration?
@pulaski1
Ай бұрын
I sincerely doubt the police _in Florida_ would go to that much effort for a paperwork issue. You get a ticket and fine for a registration or insurance issue, but they're not going to seize a ski or boat for that.
Arrested the boat?
This Bronco's Guru has never driven a boat!!! But yet he criticizes everyone else.
Thatz no rental. Hate assuming, but "it lookz" like a 2nd hand Ski and registration wasn't changed, lol!! Impounded in the water...only in MBR😂 Just can't make it up man 😂 and Bimbo alert 😂😂😂
INPOUNDING THE THE JET SKI EITHER BEHIND ON PAYMENTS OR WAS REPORTED STOLEN
Ma man had no life jacket I think. You see him with one on but then give it to the officer in the boat 🤔. What’s the rules in Florida for life jacket
"I'm sorry that you got scammed, but you should have known that a jet ski doesn't sell that cheap unless it's stolen." - Cop
You're looking at more liability leaving someone stranded on the water to wait for a tow.
The Police are there to Protect and Serve. Why do you find it odd that they would be serving someone's need?
It’s common sense They obviously were towing the JetSki they got in trouble for something they would never tow them in. It’s too much of a liability.
that gut not helping oh boy
No different than a cop car pushing a out of gas car the last block to the gas station
It depends on if there are hot babes on the boat. If so, police will do anything you need.
This is not rare. Depending on the scenario, the Police will lend a hand and tow your PWC.
Evidence in a crime/ accident.
Rentals? Ran out of gas because they don't know anything about the skis?
When you see Miami Dade towing a boat you know someone is getting fined. Their job is to make money for the county. Not the popular belief that they are there to keep you safe.

Much adu about nothing re police enforcement
Cleaning the seats in a boat is hilarious or a "life hack"???? Uh, no, it is normal. Most of the shit you criticize here is NORMAL SHIT>
Tell me you have a power boat without telling me: " I don't need to learn all these knots," " I invented this knot - it's so good it's impossible to undo," "I don't need no stinking fenders," " One line is perfectly fine to securely dock my boat," " See, you use the loop on the cleat and toss the free end onto the dock, and it gets wrapped around the pylon a few times. That way you don't need ANY knots." "No, I never drove a trailer before - how hard can it be?"," Don't need life preservers - we are not sinking, boomer." " It's perfectly legal to have beer while steering a boat,"" So how do you park a boat?"
I don't even want to watch his trash on what you're putting up
?? At their discretion, Law Enforcement can do pretty much whatever they want.
