This Digitakt 2 Trigger Bug Makes It Barely Playable - Anyone Else Have It? [FIXED in 1.02]

My DT2 sometimes doesn't fire (or more likely double fires) TRIG presses. This bug also occasionally happens when pressing PLAY or SETTINGS (maybe other buttons?). It happened too many times already to be ignored. Sharing this video as Elektron asked me to create it.
Firmware: Digitakt II OS 1.01A and date of manufacture is 2024-W13.
Curious if anyone else has experienced this. Please share and hopefully Elektron rolls out a software fix for this, addresses it somehow or maybe sends us replacement units?

[UPDATE June 19, 2024]: Elektron got back and is hinting at a software bug which should be fixable with a future firmware update.
[UPDATE June 27, 2024]: This is now fixed in in the latest 1.02 firmware update.

Yeah i honestly think every unit has it and maybe some people just haven't noticed. I've submitted video to Elektron and they just responded with "sorry your having this bug, fill out this form to send it back" which I'm not planning on doing because I'm almost certain they'll fix it in an update. The buttons are the same as they've always been on every elektron for years so I'm sure they didn't mess up the actual hardware, so probably a software issue, hopefully at least.
I had the same issue on my Digitone Keys a while ago. Returned it and they fixed it

Mine does it with the 9 key and it is frustrating. If you finger drum in parts you get double hits.

Thanks for sharing. I saw 9 and 10 misfire as in this video (and 6 at other times too). Do you also feel like it's a "double trigger"? For example: when I sometimes HOLD a trig to edit a p-lock, letting it go, erases the p-lock and removes the trigger. Does it also happen with pressing PLAY (it plays and then stops - again hinting at a double trigger)

What your manufacturing date on your box (back). Mine is 2024-W13.
EDIT / June 25 2024 / The newest firmware fixes this as mentioned here: www.elektronauts.com/t/digitakt-ii-1-01a-bug-reports/212448/879 I can also confirm I installed the latest beta and the problem was fixed. 👍👍

Looks annoying, but your demand #2 isn't really reasonable. You have to return a unit for a warranty exchange. That's how it works with anything you buy.

Barely playable? What a drama queen. There are like 1,000 fully functional features vs this little one. It's okay to report a bug but don't be baby about it.

No need to activate your amygdala about it (and get offensive). I had a bad streak of this bug. Sometimes it doesn't happen. Luckily the awesome Elektron team got back and will be rolling out a software fix for this soon. :)
