Totally agree Jeff….i throw the 5.8 on weightless beast hook due to shallow water here in Fla. Got some of the 13” Kinco worms I’m gonna give a try here in a few months. I’ve noticed a lot better quality of fish.

Awesome video Geoff I have some packs of those but don't put in alot of time fishing them so thanks for some insight on giving it a chance to catch some fish on something different 👊🏼

Looks like a good bait. I also have been fishing big soft plastics this summer alot, 7 inch Zmans fluks, can't remember name of top of my head. Strike king 10" bull worms, fished various ways/ rigging. Between those baits & big swimbaits. I've gotten all my big bites this summer. Beat my PB again this year, hard to believe , an 11.4

Yeah, the tank in the shop isn’t deep enough haha but in a normal setting, the bait glides slowly down to the bottom after being ripped up

Literally have one tied on right now, same exact hook and everything.

What weight hook to you find yourself using more frequently? I see the ryugi you mention comes in 1/16-3/32, versus the next comparable beast hook is 6/0 1/4oz
