For that price I would expect perfect angles and parallel tubing. When you got a build like that you look at it every day while working/gaming with the system and I would go crazy to see daily that imperfection and then thinking of the price. But me buying such a system would never happen even if I got the money - I abhor RGB. It's so distracting when working with images. I even put tape over power/status LED's.

No doubt. I don't necessarily think sponsoring this video, and more importantly that build, is going to flesh out the way Origin expects it would. You already know they pimped this thing hard because it was going to be viewed by a million subscribers, and it *still* turned out like that. 'Cause you know damn well Joe Nobody ain't getting that kinda love. If anything, this turns me *off* dumping money into a build from them; not on.

Jay is absolutely right about the tubing. It's the first thing I noticed too, and it bugged me. If I bought a high-end PC from a supplier, I'd want those as close to perfect as they could be. Now, if the case had a lot more curvy accents and such, it wouldn't stand out so much, but this case is squares everywhere. Great video, I really wanna build something like this someday

I was thinking the same thing. If they wanted to make it really look "Pro," they would have cut and formed water lines to the reservoir and to the graphics card to make them conform to the anglularity of the parts. This looks great on the surface, but you can definitely tell it was not a custom hand-built gaming PC put together lovingly by a hobbyist, but by a system builder who SPONSORED the video. Question, Jay: If we can't get graphics cards and other PC parts right now, how did Origin get them?

Built my first custom loop after watching many videos including this one. Mine is mostly the same components as shown. I did use blue dye in the liquid and think it looks great with the frosted tubes. One thing I found was that since you can remove and rotate the Corsair CPU block cover, there was no need to do the diagonal bend done in the pre-built system. I also find it difficult to completely drain the system with two rads in this config (had to do a partial break down after finding LEDs in GPU block didn't work due to loose cable that needed to be reattached). I used the last input plug as a dedicated drain tube and drilled a hole in the bottom of my case and piped the drain to that hole. But it requires lifting and rotating case to get fluid out of the whole loop. Looking to find a 3-way valve (not a 3-way Y fitting) to add to the output tube of the pump. That would allow me to close off the reservoir and force air through the loop so it can be drained without gymnastics. I loved my old 1070 where I was able to use an EVGA Powerlink to move power cables out of sight. Wish all cards had the same capability or designed like that from the factory.

The empty NV Link connector always seems wasted when i look at cards, any way a small plug in item could be used to take power from GPU from NV Link connector to power it and have a read temp from power delivery / gpu with sensors, or maybe there is a way to pull data from temps / fan speed from NV Link connector so can have a cool little unit with display just sitting on side of card I know aorus master 30 series cards have a display on them for temps etc but that software that it goes with, it really sucks and doesn't work most of the time

I had that happen once and the motherboard had a voice output for faults and it said something about a boot failure due to cpu overclocking which was 100% incorrect. Turned out one of the ram sticks was bad, so I had to wait for a replacement. That was the one bad experience in building a pc. Every pc I built for myself since then has worked perfectly upon initial boot. I built my first pc back in 2001 and I never looked back. The thrill of taking individual components and turning them into a functional system is always an exciting experience.

I'm 66, retired, blind in one eye and live on $1300/mo. disability. So, that will probably never happen. I could sell my Harley to buy the parts, but that isn't going to happen either.
