Love this, I started as a crocheter, dipped into knitting off and on for several years always getting discouraged. Tension problems, not understanding how to fix mistakes, finding the right yarns vs needle combo etc. I’m happy to say I stuck with it and now really enjoy the process. Flutter between crochet and knitting quite and bit and so joyful to see you doing it too, love your content, thank you for sharing!

I've tried and tried to learn knitting and to me, crocheting is so much easier and much more forgiving when there are mistakes to "fix". I'm still determined to learn to knit. It's hard to find left handed knitting guides that I like on KZread. Tony taught me Tunisian and it's my go to, if she begins teaching knitting I could probably learn from her, she's that good!!

@@darlenemiller8117 Wow! I hope you learn to knit really good some day. I understand the struggle of left-handed knitters/crocheters, even though I am not one. I am right handed but I see so many videos of right handed people crocheting. I think that crochet is more forgiving than knitting and it is really helpful for me as a newbie to crochet. I think it’s better that I learned how to knit first though lol, because I feel like knitters learn how to crochet faster, than if someone who crochets tries to learn knitting. Well done! Don’t get sucked to the dark side though. Crochet rules!!! 😂
awesome! i also learned how to knit a couple of weeks ago and now i’m working on my 3rd project! it’s different from crocheting but it’s just as much fun 🥰🤍
I personally found continental knitting to be more natural to go from knitting to crochet because you would hold the yarn the same way. I feel like when I'm attempting to throw yarn it feels soooo awkward lol
Oh how pretty
You did amazing! I knit ALOT and I can’t even get it to look that good!
