I don't think so. These guys are no killers. This would violate the (especially olympic) sportsmanship which might differ from professional fights.

@@brianbr5388 Of course not. Randori is not to kill anybody. To train with cracks and champions is not for everyone. I think they would train more likely with a young girl or a prominent than with an opponent under their level. It is the same with Tyson etc Yamashita trained with Putin because he is ambassador of his sport. Elvis had the opportunity to learn Karate from champs. And Sly Stallone got a problem because he wanted to have Dolph Lundgren to hit almost like he was used to from his competition. Hambuechen tried also some special trials with champions of other sports. Of course they had to be careful. Judo randori is made for everyone, Karate in full contact not. It is similare in horse riding.

@@brianbr5388 Maybe they invite you to a randori. Putin knows how to fall without damage. kzread.info/dash/bejne/hn98rZSHn9TIj5s.htmlsi=aJmi8ULgqUevqgsB Judo is the soft way of jiujitsu,, the soft power. "Jitsu" is the real martial art. Jiujitsu or kenjitsu is difficult to train without invalides at the end.

@@brianbr5388 Wim Ruska trained 'randori" with little children. However he was said to to knock, hit and strike in Olympic matches. Joe Frazier was said to hit with his head in title fights, in Sparring? I don't know (a good sparrings partner of Muhammad Ali got paid). I am not insider in pro sports.

To tell the truth. Judo is dominated by technique. However the other olympic sports also. Fighting sports and even strength sports need an enormous level of technique. Maybe in strength sports like weightlifting the factor strength is of course eminent. In fighting and of course judo, wrestling and boxing strength is important. Of course you can try to substitute a lack of strength by a better technique or condition and vice versa. However the most effective and efficient way is necessary on higher level. An olympic judoka of 160 kg can rarely have the same endurance as one of one of less than 100 or 110 kg. He needs more similar skills like a weightlifter or thrower.

@@JS-lr3iv Saito jr. is the son of the legendary Saito s.r. who already weighed 140 kg. Of course the father died quite early. Akebono was a Sumo and they are normally one weight class over the super heavy judoka. He died yesterday at 54 years old, which is relatively old for a Sumo.

@@JS-lr3iv There are heavyweights fighting like middle weights, which means "dynamically" and others fighting like "superheavyweights" which means more "statically" and extremely surprisingly "explosively". A sportive mesomorphic man can perform almost like a gymnast or even dancer (the same in boxing Muhammad Ali) a very heavy man cannot lose so much energy and he has no more the flexibility in his body to do this instead he can have a strong stand and a center of gravity which he can use a his basis. In fighting, pure slow strength to give pressure is always secondary. It gives a certain stability.
