"THIS COULDN'T HAVE COME AT A BETTER TIME!" ARLINGTON SX REWIND / Bubba's World w/ James Stewart

From Jerry's World in Arlington we had Supercross back in action after a weekend off, where we were wondering if Tomac would bounce back from his lack luster start of the season, could Ken follow up his win in Glendale, and what would Jett Lawrence do? This season's been one for the books with storylines and the points battle and Arlington only solidified that between both the 250 and 450 classes.
As always, sit back because you're now in Bubba's World 🌐😎

I don’t like how the riders are tripling whoops it basically proves they aren’t real whoops cause James Stewart said when Whoops are made properly you can’t jump them.

Seems like someone new wins every weekend....and I feel we'll have another "new" winner again this weekend.... because it's Tomac time and these guys all had their chance to put a big points lead on him....they failed to do it and he fired his warning shot last week and you can bet all these dudes have been thinking about exactly that since Saturday night

Maybe take a look at the 80s. Bailey, Barnett, Bowen, Breker, Cooper, Dymond, Glover, Hannah, Holland, RJ, Lechien, Leisk, Liles, O'Show, Stanton,Ward, Just saying. It's 6 races into the season, and it's awesome so far, but BEST is not to be applied 6 races into any series...70s, 80s or 2024.

@Carpfishing4400 he's never top 5 in practice! Meaning he can't lay a heater down. Other then Washougal he was never the fastest rider all outdoors last year. He has 1 overall in mx and 1 sx win. If he had more and actually had a title in either one then yes I would say he's well calculated. The fact he doesn't negates your point though. You can get away with being conservative when the competition is weak like the current 250s but once you move up and start battling faster consistent guys it's not going to work. Ask Ryan Dungey how being calculated worked against rv!

Was live in person. Perfect race for me and my pops. Couldn’t have asked for a better race as a tomac fan. His bike sound coming out of the double, triple before finish. It was so loud I could hear it in seat 312 lol. It’s unbelievable how ROUGH that guy is on his bike.

If you look at 31:15, Hunter does something similar to Austin, comes up short going over the table top, but backs out of it immediately and just doubles out. Good call by Hunter, he is a very mature rider.

I think we got to see the best of James. 2002-2012 was a solid career. The AMA suspension in 2014 ruined his comeback.

Tomac was 17 seconds behind at one point. He was 1-2 seconds a lap faster than everyone else with 8 minutes +2 laps. He finished 3 seconds behind Webb. He didn’t start riding the bike until 3 weeks before the season started. He had to race himself into race shape. Being fit and race shape aren’t the same. He was getting in and out of turns like last season before the injury which tells me he has the bike set up the way he wants it now.

@st25at many laps he was but he was often with in 10ths of jetts and some faster. Thing is jetts fastest laps were clear open and less broke down track. Tomac made up his time in the final half running 45-46 often on a broke down track passing riders defending positions unlike jett having lapper pull aside for the blue flag. Also he was off the bike for 5 months, roughly a month on the bike to train before sx, he's been searching for that MOJO and he's settling in to now so being 13pts back he's likely feeling he's back in this to win that final sx title he lost.

@@coltoncarpenter3790 heard the same comments all last year. Let me explain it to you. Catching Jett is not the hard part. Bridging the gap he then puts on you is the hard part. Have you already forgotten?

On the sidelines, I wonder if they could lay down like 4” cardboard sheets on the concrete to absorb impact? It would be a big undertaking, but it would be similar to a SAFER barrier and the medical crew could drive their side by sides over in an emergency too.

I think more than cooper it was Tomac that got in jetts head. As the leader I’m sure he was watching Eli get closer by almost 2 seconds a lap. So he knew Webb was going to get the hurry up and by trying to pick the pace back up it pushed him into those mistakes.
