Someone who is prone to hand cramps I can't wait for more of the controllers with this form factor.
Someone needs to make a all in one controller that does Bluetooth/usb type c and it can close together completely to use on the tv and open to use on your phone.

@@MrMis1osm i'd pay 200 if the quality was good comparable to console. Most of these android controllers are not very good the best in the market is the Razer Kishi and the dpad/buttons are bad I'll give them credit on the sticks/triggers almost to the level of the series x controller. Anyways theres a market for sure for a good quality controller for Android gamers with cloud gaming/emulation/android games being very popular at the moment.
This design is starting to grow on me. Definitely a case of function over form, and that's what makes it look so good.
Awesome video. I had one of my viewers tell me about this controller today and asked if I could review it so I looked it up and ordered it. It looks like this might be what I been waiting for. I've tried everything from the Glap, Game Sir both versions and everything had some type of issue. Besides this not having a C port this looks like it might do the trick.
Just got mine in today too, perfect timing! Fits my Oneplus 9 Pro perfectly!
Amazing review, as always... the price is very good as well.
This looks ideal for the fold phones, if you still have your fold I'd love to see a follow up video with how well it works. Also very interested in portrait mode to play some shmups

Pity it doesn't hold a 10.5" tablet but it would be a Wide beast. I'd like to see the previous version with improved analogue triggers and the right analogue stick placed higher.

The new gamevice controller basically mirrors the popular Razer Kishi but I've heard it has a better feel. It works for Android phones with usb-c and has a more expensive version for iphones. However, it also has a similar version for ipad, specifically the 10.5 inch versions. Though I don't believe it supports every generation, can't same I'm familiar with all the different iPad gens though I'm afraid.
Really good review! :)
This is a great controller! Been looking for one to use for aethersx2. Now gt4 will play properly

Nice, I think this is the 2nd telescopic controllers with analogue triggers I´ve seen.
Would help out a lot if you include the price in the title or description or even the thumbnail. This one is 80$ and pricing is a very essential point when choosing between controllers for mobile.

I agree, look for Ipega 9087s (the upgraded version). It doesn't have analog triggers and it's smaller than this one, but it costs around 20 USD (1/4 of the price of the controller featured in the video!). It's great for retro gaming.

@@toxicavenger6172 Ipega is a well known manufacturer. To be fair, some of their controllers have less precise analog sticks, still that doesn't mean they're faulty. Others are top notch. In any case, it's perhaps the best controller brand regarding price/quality ratio.
The logo overlays were a cool touch.
Happy New Year too!
Love your band-aid. :P
I bought a PS4 controller years ago in California and I use it on my various phones and computers either plugged in or via Bluetooth. I think this is way for convenient for on the go out when you're in bed and can't set your phone up
The beaty of these type of controllers is that they are wide since they hold a phone. More width is more comfortable for the arms and wrists.
Hey thanks looks good!... Can you make a video about telescopic controllers please!...
Hey ETA!, Would love to know if the Z Fold 3 can fit in this thing?

Ipega 9083 was always pretty decent. Thumbsticks feel floaty but otherwise it's good, it fits mine and my family's tablets but the hold isn't the strongest so you'll have to be careful to no shake it much
Could you please try connecting the Pro to Windows 10 via Bluetooth, then check to see if the analog triggers are recognised as buttons instead of triggers? The last model had this problem and it'd be great to know. Thank you.
ROG phone 7 owners. Though a tight fit. The Nacon Pro works with the phone. I'm even able to keep the provided ROG case on. Previously was using the Razor Kishi. Which was not compatible with the ROG phone 7. After much research the Nacon Pro is one of the few. I'm sure the non pro version works just as well.
This reminds me, where is the Moga XP7-X? they announced it over a year ago...
Dude eta, your voice is so soothing. Your videos help me go to sleep, not cuz they are boring, but because that warm glass of milk voice...
I have one of these and its quite good the Bluetooth connection lets it down though I have been using it for playing XBOX game pass games
You have to be kidding me... I wanted an original gamevice, never got around to it. Then held off for quite a long time before finally getting the kishi. The kishi is awesome, but I actually went through the hassle of cutting up and attaching grips... this is exactly what I wanted... nooowwww it comes out? At least I got my kishi for under 40 bucks...
I know this is an old vid, but just wanted to ask if you've reviewd the z fold? You are one of my favorite tech tubers and I can't find one when I search for it. I only bring this up because I've been researching good controllers recently and this is the one I will probably get. Time and again, the fold gets mentioned as being used with this controller and it is apparently amazing! Was looking on swappa and gen 1 folds can be had for under $500, and they have a snapdragonf 855. Might make a good vid ;)
That controller reminds me of the Sony patented dualshock controller with an xperia 1 in the middle.
the bandaid killed me for some reason 😂
Hello ETA PRIME First greetings from Poland Second I love your videos And i have question With regard the apple update that delate the Bluetooth devices to control touch screen do you think this controller will works with apple devices and games that support original xbox controller ?
I'm all for things like this, I like the idea of not having to spend a fortune on devices like the aya neo and just stream it to a phone or tablet, but until we have decent Internet coverage these things are still a dream. Not sure if it is the same problem in other parts of the world but in the u.k your isp provider may well say you have the best package which you are paying top whack for, but unless you know what you are looking for, more often than not it's a slow connection, too slow for streaming a game any sense and certainly not what you are paying for.

It's even worse in the USA, if you don't live in a city with cable or fiber optic, expect 3mb down and 700kb up on DSL. If you are lucky enough to have cable, you will pay through the nose for it.
If only my wireless didn't have this odd interaction with Bluetooth that causes lag spikes every second, I would use this for Steam Link. For now I'm using a wired Razer Kishi I snagged on a sale
Waiting for a telescopic controller for the ipad mini 6🎮
that looks really nice
How are the thumbstick deadzones? are they good? are they close to the original xbox feeling? One thing i hated about other controllers are the deadzones. especially ipega ones... even the razer kishi has a slightly bad deadzones which i notice and cannot unnotice.
It has analog triggers, that's awesome.

I'm really hoping they make a version of this that supports just slightly bigger phones (have the S21 Ultra and according to specs it wouldn't fit), USB C like he mentioned, and also a way to charge your phone while using the this since there's no way to do so currently with this.

I'm on the fence about this or the gamesir x2 usb for my galaxy fold 3, do you think they'd release this with usb?
I always thought it would be a cool idea if game developers programmed ways to let you use your phone as a second screen. Placing the map, inventory, etc on it. Would work quite well with a phone controller setup.

with one of those clips and an xbox controller i'd guess you could use an otg cable to get a direct connection
there is a new 3DS emulator release for Mali processors phones called Citra Enhanced Beta 1
FYI. I had three of these die on me from the left side. Seems when you extend them, there's some sort of disconnect on the left side that won't communicate with the right side after eventual usage.
What is the biggest size phone/tablet it will hold? Saw a fold in one and it still had lots of space.
Just got mine today is it me or are the sticks too high?? After anbernic products kind of spoiled on those type....buttons a little too clicky and hard but work well and I wish they were a bit smaller

I've been looking for a controller to use for my Z fold 4 to mainly play Call of Duty mobile. Will that game just simply not work with this controller or is there a way to make it work?
ETA, are you gonna review the powkiddy A30?
On my iPhone, CoD Mobile works perfectly with the backbone controller, which is like this controller but missing the grips. So they need to fix the Android version.
Also, if you're in an emergency situation you can hold the controller up in front of a street light and Batman will rescue you! 🤣

That slide section should be spring loaded, i could picture the phone falling out quite easily if you give it full send. 😂
Finally a review 😆 I bought one but went in completely blind. I quite like it! EDIT: Citra won't detect d-pad and analog movement when trying to map it, you need to install a custom profile with Tasker. I guess it's an issue with the new Android.
