This Collection Of Beer Cans Is Worth An Estimated $3 Million | The Vault | Forbes

Pennsylvania native Jeff Lebo has been collecting beer cans since he was a child. His father, who worked at American Can Company, brought cans home for him to collect together. Since then, he has collected over 100,000 cans from across the world, and he believes his collection is worth two to three million dollars. On this episode of The Vault, Jeff took us inside his house, built for his collection, and shared some of his favorite cans.
The Guinness Book of World Records recognizes William B. Christensen as having the largest collection with over 75,000 cans. They are currently awaiting evidence to review Lebo’s collection.
The Brewery Collectibles Club of America recognizes Jeff Lebo as having the largest collection in the world with over 100,000 cans. Lebo told Forbes he is open to having his collection counted to be included in the Guinness Book Of World Records.

I collected in the late 1970s, as a teen. If you lived in Ohio, Buckeye cone tops were the Holy Grail. Sadly, I never had one. Thanks for posting this video, Forbes. It brought back a lot of memories: Asahi, Fosters Lager, Coors, Black Label, St. Pauli Girl ... I could go on and on. What a blast!

I'm not surprised this guy is from PA, I grew up in Bucks County, PA and beer can collecting was really popular when I was a kid. Tons of old breweries in the area, and they drank lots of beer.
