@victational6617 Screen shake is a general term. there are so many ways you can make screen shake. Obviously, @griffpatch has brainwashed you into thinking that HIS screenshake is the ONLY WAY TO DO IT. "Oh! He stole off of @griffpatch!" Please, I beg of you @atticuss8973, to find a single block of code that I copied.

If you use a timer already in a project for different use. You can use a variable that adds 1 every frame and make it also work like what you want

Bro love your videos because instead of it being boring since you have sound effects in the background and like captions and makes it more fun And a lot easier on my mind

Thank you a lot for the tutorial! One problem, when the screen shake ends, the sprites end up in a different direction from where it started. Is there a way to fix this?

You'll need a "Go to X:0 y:0" before the "Change X by ScreenShakeX" and "Change Y by ScreenShakeY". That way you reset the position of the sprite to whatever position you need before you apply the screen shake variables to the position.

I'm glad you're standing against what your name stands for, but why are you using it for almost everything? Many people will look at your name and give you the worst looks, ESPECIALLY if you're not on a site for kids like Scratch. If that's your username in, say, Discord, a billion people will tell you by your name alone that you're underage. Seriously, I'd suggest to stop using this username. I know you can't change your username in Scratch, but I believe that starting over with a new account (with all your projects saved to your device), and importing all your projects onto the new account, with your "About Me" mentioning your old account name. And as for places where you CAN change your name... DO IT. I promise you it's for the best.

Well, your problem is that if you apply that code to everything, then they'll all choose random values. Maybe have one sprite change a specific variable that would be used for the shake's x-interval, have THAT pick random -50 to 50, and do another for the shake's y-interval. Then, have all sprites use those variables with a block setup that looks something like this: When green flag clicked: Start sound triggered video repeat 270 Go to x: (initial x position + shakex), y: (initial y position + shakey) Stop all
