Can you guys do a video on weather and fishing? How weather affects bass, when to fish what conditions

I live in North Texas. Weather plays a big part in fishing. When we get tornado warning, I'm out at the lake fishing until the lightning gets to close. During this time, I'm slaying the bass. To where it's about a bass a cast.

Matt, you should think about wearing a PFD when flying down the river. You just never know if you could hit something, launching you out of the boat and hitting your head on something, knocking you unconscious. Especially when by yourself.

Jet boat river fishing, nothing better. I always equate lake fishing to the driving range and river fishing to an air soft course.

This river screams for fly fishing!

I miss any sort of river fishing-Especially the cold water fluencies🤙🏻

That was a nice pike for the 5lb line and light rod!

Hey I just wanted to mention that u guys were the reason I got pretty serious about bass fishing. I had been into fishing for a few years but this year was by far my best year I caught my largest fish 3-4 lbs and I credit my success to you guys. Even though I am 13 I have optimistic views for my future adventures! If u read this comment I have yet to catch a bass on a crank bait IDK if its because Washington has a lot of grass but I can never seem to find the confidence or the situations to do it. Do you have any tips? LOVE your stuff keep it up

Thats awesome! We're so glad you're out there sticking fish! The best time to build confidence with the crank will be this Fall as the grass starts to die back. Fish outside grass lines, main lake points, and any rock you can find 👍🏼

Hey dude, The crankbait is possibly the easiest bait to catch em on - just chunk and wind! I can't speak to WA, however I would fish a small shad color crank around docks if I had to catch a bass or establish a pattern

Yes, and don't forget the lipless, like a 1/4 oz rattletrap. That way you can vary retrieve speed and type. Not sure what kind of grass you are dealing with but if it's not just choked with it, use braid and a little stiffer rod and when you hit grass and think you're hung just rip it through (and let it sink or slow down and then speed up). I only wish my lake still had hydrilla and coontail

8lb PowerPro V2 is great BFS Braid. 4-6lb Sniper is strong stuff. I caught a 20.5” Large Mouth last night on 6lb.

There's a river I live by and it's spring fed so it's clear as it can be. That river has more fish and bigger fish but you should try it I'll trade you river spots 😂

You can fish it either way. It's livelier with a ring. All these fish were caught without.

It's stock but new, I replaced the original. If you search "Tacticalbassin jet boat" you'll find an initial walk through and another after we tunneled the hull, added pods, and dialed in the electronics.

What is the name of the river?

Matt, try drifting down the river with the bow of your boat facing upriver. Much easier to control the boat and fish, plus you wont swing around like that every time you hit spot lock.
