It was the same in New Mexico. Pull over; lights on. I recall when as one of the bereaved, seeing this and feeling the respect and caring from those who recognized our loss, whether they knew us or not. So very appreciated ❤. When we observed a funeral procession, our parents always pulled over and turned on their lights to honor the bereaved family.

I love these old houses. No one builds anything with the character and craftsmanship these days.

When I was growing up in Michigan, even if you were walking down the street, you would stop and put your hand over your heart to show respect to the procession. You don't have that in California and I gotta say, I miss it. Loved your show of respect. ✝

it's nice they you two showed respect for the funeral possession. people now days don't care. they cut in our line for my nephew who was in the Airforce. They looked at us like we were in the wrong. See things like showing respect for that helping people out. you will always be blessed.

The work was beautiful as usual but it really touched my heart to see you stop for the funeral procession. I live in the panhandle of Florida where life is slower & we respect our dead on their last ride. The folks moving to Florida from up north have no respect & think it’s ridiculous. The law in my part of the country require you pull off the side of the road until the whole procession passes. If you don’t, they will move you to the side of the road. You treat a funeral just the same as an ambulance or flashing lights on a patrol car so thank you again for showing your respect. It says a lot about your character. ❤

Wow ! Retired from a company with offices in Galveston ! I live in Houston Texas and know that the towns City Manager would truly have a live cow birth once they found out you have dared to touch even to clean for free one of the citys sacred ancient homes! The city would insist that you obtain a permit and post a cash bond for any damages you might do to the nearby city property! Galveston Texas has long lists of ordinances and regulations to allow work done in city is by city residents only! You two were very lucky this day that somehow the local spies about the city missed you! You really did a great makeover !!!

Loved this one. Welcome to Texas!! I am just down the road in Houston.. I love the old homes in Galvestion. My grandmother survived the 1900 storm when she was 6 years old. I grew up listening to all the stories she told us about it.

Instant zip with the Trimmer cleanup. Like that you thought to work on algae with a sprayer. I was thinking of fragile concrete and also that the algae can be what stands-out after a cleanup, so this will look extra nice. I remember the tests you ran on how long it took and how many applications to get great improvement, when power washing wasn't possible. This turned out well, had a "like new" shine.
