Id cooling is surprisingly good quality! For a while I used a tower from them that was like $40 that performed gr8

cooler master made an AIO cooler for like 80 bucks back in like 2010 called the cool-viva, and it had 2 blocks, was designed for use with a cpu and gpu at the same time, i had one, it worked pretty decently. Couldnt overclock on it, but temps were decent and it looked really cool in the case

Id cooling was the first aio I ever tried. Turned me away from water cooling for about a year before I bought 2 nzxt kraken x53 240mm aio’s. Picked up a kraken g12 for my gpu and the highest temps I’ve seen on my gpu are 50c with a 150mhz oc on the core and 750mhz on the memory. Definitely recommend

This iDCooling cooler is excellent. Used one on my sons build, i had used an old 120mm gpu aio on his old 1070ti. Oc'd that 1070ti as high as it would go, pretty high too, and it wouldn't crack 60c. I paid $70 for it. Well worth it as the 1070ti was a pny with the worst cooler ever. I couldn't keep it under 80c gaming, iDCooling makes good stuff

One thing they did wrong with the VGA pump was they screw it in with both the shroud and the i/o panel on top of the table. The i/o is 2pcie slot tall and the shroud is just about 1 and half tall only so it is expected that not all the surface of the pump touches the chip of the GPU. Also the screws on the pump or the once they used at the back does not have springs to help level the pump. In my experience using 120vga and 240vga AIO pump (Exactly the same w/o the CPU pump) is that you have to put the shroud on the table with the i/o panel of the GPU just over the edge so it would not touch the table. And also if there are no capacitors or components blocking the view, you have to peak under to make sure the copper pump touches the middle on all 4 sides. Then while placing the screws and backplate on top, you should do the Diagonal pattern screwing top left and bottom right and vice versa until it is tight. Not too tight though, because if one corner is tighter, the pump may lift on the other side and we will have the same full contact problem and redo everything. Remember r9 290x @ 90c on any AAA game. I tested 120vga id-cooling with the same pump and shroud and was able to pull it down to 65-75c full load. With the help of course changing the stock fan that came with it (SF-12025 red led 54cfm) with SF12025 No led 84.5CFM for the Radiator. Of course to achieve that, I replaced all my fans in the case to the same 84.5cfm id-cooling SF12025 fans. DOes not have RGB but you can change the rings from Red, to white, blue, or Green. Good thing they had remount the pump and fixed the thermal issue, they just did not show us how they mounted it properly off-screen. .

Bare silicon like the GPU die here MUST have full thermal compound coverage else ineffective heat transfer or overheating is imminent. That's why I always spread the compound thinly with a clean plastic card when applying to bare die and use a rice size method when applying to a heatspreader.

I'm a newbie in the PC gaming world, but I've wondered why CPU & GPU water cooling combo units aren't common, the way those basic CPU water cooling units are, hundreds of different names and models on eBay and Amazon. I guess I'm missing something that I'll probably come to realize, but it doesn't seem like a dumb idea to me right now.

I would have installed 4 fans covering the radiator for those 2 pumps.

I love Alex's mischievous smile the whole time. Its like he is making fun of Linus in his head but not saying it out loud.
