trying the viral dandruff comb and let me just tell you I'm extremely surprised that it works as they say. Just brush your hair and you'll see how much dandruff and oils this weird comb collects and dispense at the same time. Kind of satisfying I might say.

PLEASE READ!! DO NOT DO THIS!! As someone who suffers from severe dandruff I tried doing this (not with the same comb). I told this to my dermatologist and he said it actually makes the dandruff worse, it may even start producing more dandruff. The best thing to use in my opinion is to use a proper dandruff shampoo. 😅😅

I think the common issue with MOST dandruffs, is that its actually a fungal infection, which can easily be reduced using a specifically dandruff removing antifungal shampoo twice a week, and when the oil starts to build up, just leave it on for 5 mins on dampened hair, and wash thoroughly. After a few routines the dandruff usually reduces significantly. But if it doesn't, Visiting a dermatologist will always be the right call. Try this method if you think your dandruff might be due to your sweaty work schedule, while if it's because of stress, this treatment won't show much results. So all in all, start with visiting your doctor for the necessary treatment and you're pretty much set. No need to physically SCRAPE the scalp to get rid of it😉

Are you talking about seborrheic dermatitis? That's not the same as dandruff. It's caused by an overproduction of oil, which feeds an overgrowth of yeast, which irritates the scalp and causes blistering and crusty pustules. It can be treated with shampoos and facial products containing zinc and salicylic acid.

  • @cerberusgamingyt6253

@@zenmeimori Sir, dandruff is a case of seborrheic dermatitis. The only thing that differentiates the two are that the latter spreads across the face as well as the scalp, while dandruff is just SD restricted to the scalp. And also the fact that SD usually comes with a bit of inflammation around the infected region

  • @cerberusgamingyt6253

@@zenmeimori also I had dandruff and did not have the defining symptoms of SD ( like inflammation, itchiness on face) . To everyone who suffers from dandruff, i have a solution for u, buy some Arabic coffee (i don't know how it's called in ur country) it's basically crushed coffee beans, boil it to get rid of the excess color, strain the water, use the grids as a scrub, mix a handful of it with some shampoo, and scrub ur wet hair for few minutes, u'll see instant results, the dandruff will be completely off within 2-4 times u use this unless there is a medical condition uses it.

Although it may be satisfying to watch people comb out or scratch out dandruff, I advise for those who have it to not scratch or brush it because it could make it worsen. When you brush your hair that is prone to dandruff, you should only brush the ends or the mid hairs. It could worsen the scalp or the dandruff further if you try to scratch it out.

I recommend Selsun Blue Shampoo (Medicated). Just wash your hair like normal and add this shampoo into your roots. Use it every time you take a shower and it removes all your dandruff. Also smells really good. It does have sulfates in the ingredients list in case you have colored hair, but it works hard to break away the dandruff. 👍

Nizoral shampoo. It has ketoconazole in it which is very effective at treating the yeasts that causes dandruff. Apply to your scalp only (not the length of your hair), massage it in, let it sit for 5 minutes, then rinse it out. You can follow up with whatever shampoo you like afterward for a second cleanse. I do this every time I wash my hair, which is every 1-2 weeks.

Some dermatologists have given me an ACTUAL medicinal dandruff shampoo that the pharmacy gave me. That is the only way to get rid of dandruff. Because dandruff is a layer of dead skin that when scratched it form into tiny peices. But the more you scratch or comb the more it sheds and when you have dandruff on your nails or comb, your head will get more dandruff as it tends to spread. That comb makes things WORSE!!!

I thought i had dandruff for the longest time. Turns out i get a form of cradle cap. I get it from going to bed with wet hair. So to avoid it, make sure hair is dry before going to bed! :))

Exfoliate your scalp gently once a week before shampooing and do a henna mask for severe cases.

Idk if using somthing with such sharp ends on youre scalp is helping dandruff i think its making it worse and youll need to use this comb more frequently. Most hair influencers try avoiding combs because its harsh on the scalp and the best they say you can use is a scalp massager or your finger TIPS,NOT YOUR NAILS.❤

Nahh I use watermelon soap Its shape is square Since I started using it a month ago and have not left it, not only has the dandruff gone, but I can go a whole week without itching in my hair l use it after shampoo.I've been using an anti-dandruff shampoo but it doesn't work. I hope this helps 🤍

No. For dandruff... coal tar shampoo. For scalp with silver patches, capasal shampoo.
