Ninja 300 mirrors fit the 400. They dont look stupid like the stock 400 ones and are functional

I also tried this type of mirrors on my Ninja 400 and I agree with you. Its totally useless and unsafe. So I decided to reinstall the stock mirrors. Ride safe brother. New sub here ❤

Yep, apparently the original stealth mirrors (way more expensive too!) are longer and better but the cheap ones from amazon are crap. I recently installed the short versions of the ninja 400 mirrors they are so cool! Vid coming up soon!

Just what I was looking for, a random stranger to confirm me that you can't see shit on those mirrors xD

Haha lol thx for the comment mate, indeed cant see anything at all, apparently it is just for people who cant legally ride without mirrors and use this as a dummy. I didn’t know that. 😁

I use this on my ninja 300. Works fine. Can never beat Mickey Mouse stock mirrors but much better than inclined or inverted bar end mirrors. I can feel the aerodynamic gains too compared to a stock or bar end mirrors. Lane splits is a breeze.

yeah someone else mentioned that the real ones are much more suitable for the ninjas. the one I got off amazon I can only see my hands, nothing else, even if I twist it around and try different angles. cheers buddy! thx again

@@ricardorides i got one from Alli express and one specific dealer / manufacturer showed it in 3 sizes. I got the BIGGER ONE cause i HATE SMALL MIRRORS, still not instaled but it has 25 cm total and the mirrors are lie 5 cm x 14cm if im not wrong. U must have got the smaller ones thats like 4 x 11 or even 3,5 x 9 if im not mistaken.

I agree, tried it because the stock one is just too wide and I want something smaller for lane splitting, but having those is almost like having no mirrors, the search continues to find a good alternative...

@@ricardorides I ended up getting Ninja 300 mirrors and they works great! the one I got from Amazon can fold too (since thats most complain from getting non-OEM ones, but somehow my non-OEM can fold).

I have and use these mirrors on my Yamaha R3, and I actually prefer them to the stock mirrors that come with the R3, but they're still not the best option out there.

Fair enough mate! Something to remember as well i guess is that due to the angles and shape of the motorbikes it may not be the best ‘one fits all mirror’ eh, I can tell u man i love the mirrors but can only see my hands when they are on the ninja 400. Imagine that for a beginner 🫣 thx for the input btw! I Appreciate it.

Ima be honest with you. While I get your point, you don’t seem to understand the other side. These mirrors are intended for people who shoulder check instead of mirror check( like you should be doing anyways) but don’t want to remove their mirrors for legal reasons. If it were legal a lot more people would get rid of the mirrors entirely as on most bikes it ruins the look and makes lane splitting a pain.

I guess it depends on the type of bike, I got some “large” stealth mirrors for my fz6 and honestly I can see just fine out of them because my windscreen doesn’t get in the way like in the above video.

Do you think it would make it safer if you add bar end mirrors as well? Or would that make it look worse?

Hey buddy, yep if you have bar end mirrors it would be safer but it wont look as nice and clean. But definitely worth trying! These mirrors only are hopeless.

I bought the stealth mirrors for the look, then just got some bar end mirror's for the actual visibility.

Bar end mirrors are more dangerous than stealth mirrors… You need to look way far to see anything..

These type of mirrors popped up year or so ago and I cringe everytime I see a new rider flock to these. They are a cosmetic item as far as I'm concerned. The stock mirrors are unnecessarily long imo, so I have replaced them with the Ninja 300 stock mirrors which are tad shorter and makes the bike a look a little bit smarter without sacrificing practicality.

Thats a great point mate. Likewise i just cringe every single time those dumb-as big ass tight jeans influencers show up with stealth mirrors that don’t actually do anything at all, it just looks cool but don’t do anything…you might as well just remove all mirrors and hope for the best 😂 i recently got a short version of the ninja 400 mirrors and they are pretty nice! Glad to hear you got something safe too!

Hey buddy, this is called the herobiker from amazon. It’s cheaper than original brands but the quality is exactly the same. I have compared them side by side and cant tell the difference in materials and construction. Herobiker body armour.

Stealth wing mirrors aren't legal everywhere though. Only if the bike comes with it as stock. And to my knowlegde only the H2R has, but that bike as whole is illegal. Atleast here in Germany.

I recently put stealths on mine and yep - it’s almost like having no mirrors. They look awesome but functionality is prob as bare minimum as it gets.

Did you full tuck? Some of those mirrors are for a full tuck racing aggressive position, not for every day street riding, not for stiff old men.😮

hi mate so sorry for the very late reply, yep it fits the Ninja 400 and u can get on amazon. just search for "stealth mirror for Ninja 400" but as the vid states u can only see ur hands, if u don't mind, go for it, looks nice!

I wish someone would make carbon fiber formula 1 mirrors; they would look so much cooler and would be more functional than these.

Cmon now, let’s be real. No one gets those mirrors to see what’s behind. Everyone knows this lol. Use a little bit of logic and common sense before buying stuff too. In what world would small mirrors intended to be stealthy be better for visibility than the stock ones?

They are not made to see anything. They are made for ppl who don't want mirrors but need them to stay legal and look cool. Obviously not for beginner riders or to improve your vision behind you

Thats good to know mate thanks! I was fairly new to bikes at the time of the video and the aim was beginners too as the video states indeed but yep got it now, it’s just gimmick!!! I ended up getting the oem short mirrors , loving them need to do a review actually.

I don’t have mirrors so I ordered these yesterday. They gotta be better than nothing 🤷‍♂️

I guest this generaly product do not works with all bikes... I was searching for the original from rizoma, but they dont have it for my actual bike... Duc 1198S .... So here in Europe they need a homologation test to be sold in some regions like Germany ..... And they said the production + homologation cost for my bike is not profitable.....

wow mate thanks for the awesome feedback and my sincere apologies, I seem to have comments hiding away dee inside the brains of YT. indeed It has to be for specific models, I had a quick look for you and they appear to have a few options for Ducatis but not all models...I was very lucky to find for the Ninja but again it's a gamble...this in particular was pretty useless but other viewers have suggested the OEM is perfectly fine...let me know if you find your Stealth mirror for the Ducati? Thx

Hi mate, this is a one-size fits all from Amazon (those cheap Chinese ones). I believe the OEM ones do have size choices. You may need to look into it.

I don't even use my stock mirrors. I just head check

Head check is the best way. I never trust any mirror on a motorcycle.

This is not true!!! Don't buy the small ones they are useless !! Buy the big ones! Adjust the arm to the right corner. Open up your mirror sit on the bike and keep adjusting. This only works whit a bigger version. These mirrors are way better than my stock Aprilia mirrors. These are terrible !!? I love the stealth mirrors and they work! Buy the longer version and you will see for Ya self.

Mate thanks for the input! Please be mindful im referring to ninja 400 only. I didn’t speak for all bikes out there. The intro for the video is very specific to ninja 400s and the stealth mirrors. You might be jumping into conclusions here.

@@ricardorides I am sorry for that. Only wanna help the lads who wanna great looking bike but fear losing sight of ya behind. It doesn't matter what bike you ride. I have a beautiful RSV 1000 factory and that's a big bike. Despite the negative comments I bought the big cheap ones whit indicators on alli and was sweating all the way down! Installed them and adjusted the suckers bolted the arm thigh and drove a few miles. I reacted like a blind man that could see again! and while doing that looking way cooler. If I sell my bike you can put on those stock %$^$$$%&^%^Mirrors back again. They will never come off again!

What brand did you buy?

All those Stealth Mirrors are Garbage you cant see anything.. Ive purchased and returned them all. Zig Zagging traffic with those mirrors on my Panigale.. felt like a blind man with dog switching lanes.. went back to my stock mirrors.. I rather stay alive than Style

@@ricardorides When they switch lanes with out seeing you or switch lanes with out using their blinkers, You will remember this conversation. All advanced riders use their speed to move away from traffic. U need to be clear in all directions. At least 1-2 cars.
