lol, your reactions says it all. It's almost like WG be, "Here's a 20 citadel challenge for a legendary module, also, we've cut citadel chance by 99%. Have fun grinding!" If this was a "get 20 overpens in a battleship" challenge it would be over in the first 2 minutes of the match.

Wg will nerf shit during challenges. If you dont need cit you get it all day. Need it and it's 1 in 400.

Every time I have a citadel mission it feels like I can’t buy one. This one was even worse because there’s 20 of them, only t7+ US BBs and I only usually play Massachusetts. Feels bad man, even if it is recency bias.

Of all of them this has been the most difficult for me to achieve because been keep relying on catching cruisers and battleships broadside enough to crit them and yes after several hours got them after that is the wins because of my potato teammates then the podium finishes in my team and not thank God on both teams. I'm on the 4th phase on both the main and secondary reloaders. I got the Plot Room, Torp Reloader and Gun Ranger. I'm gonna save the Secondary Reloader for the Atlantico. I feel your pain because i had felt that too.

I got 6 citadels in my Maine last night but unfortunately it was well after I completed mission 1. I was getting almost 1 citadel a match in my other US Battleships last night, boy I was frustrated!

Took me 3 days to get 5 victories in tier 7 for the secondary mod.

Fortunately the pitadel never fails 😂

The more the stream dragged on, the more I saw of this, got a laugh out of it, but still, sucks sometimes for shells to fall short.

I'm so glad I'm not the only one having this problem with the rounds over penning or going completely over and not getting citadels when I should, since this update. WG needs to revert whatever they did 🙄

So I have found with these grinds that. When I need something very specific done, that's the exact time when I find myself distinctly lacking achieving that result at all because wildly random RNG that makes literally no sense. When I was grind citadels it took me a 3 days the only ships I used were Kansas and Georgia

The first main citadels is not where I shoot that shot. Same on the kutizov and the Kansas

I feel this pain.

Alabama carried hard during this challenge, the pen angles really came up clutch. Shit was still annoying

Haha, yeah a bit rough. And I’m not even a BB player (play mostly cruisers and DD’s after that). But what’s really gets to me is trying to get the wins. Playing solo and constantly getting on teams with the “special” players. Almost lost it yesterday. CONSTANTLY getting on teams with DD’s just going around randomly in the far back doing nothing and other BB players just hiding in total passivity. Me against 9 and despite that I was last alive in most games. Enough to drive you bonkers. 🤪🤪🤪🤪😵‍💫😳

@@flyinghulk7463 I've spent a little over 200 dollars in three years and WG managed to make me regret it each time. I suggest just going f2p and don't play the game days were it stops being fun. I give Legends 3 games and if it's not at least 50% I'm out.

@@177SCmaro i spent about 600 in less then a year. Never again in this game, had just now a game with krohnstadt where yamato was broadside 3.7 km and i hit him for 590 damage. I've just closed the game

@@flyinghulk7463 wow you got me beat. Was it with AP or HE? AP doesn't really seem to be working correctly right now which mostly affects battleships and heavy cruisers. Even if it was HE you definitely should have gotten more out of it than that. Too damn much RNG in this game. I fired 3 salvos at two different broadside cruisers yesterday in New Mexico, one of them was a freaking Helena, and got 10 overpens. I shut it off too after that. I find myself rapidly leaving battleships behind and becoming a dpm cruiser main. Spamming HE seems way more reliable and a bigger impact on the battle then in a bb half my salvoes going short and the other half overpening everything.

I ended the mission in the maine and somehow got 5 citadels it's just weird

They can't give us training rooms yet because everyone will know that they have been lying out their ass about the bug. They probably had them done and ready before the holidays but they still haven't fixed the aim bug.

I will say I had to play about 25-30 matches to get the challenge complete. I essentially got 1 cit per game(not all but 85% of the game I got a cit it was only 1.) Also I didn't encounter a single carrier the entire cit challenge. Literally the 1st game after completing it I got matched with a carrier.

Haha so it's not just me who has gone Nuts! Ship players gone Nuts. Finished the Cruiser missions earlier, man I swear they make it a lot more difficult to do missions when you need it, any other time it would be no problem. I am so glad I only have the DD missions to do. The Game is Broke and Player base, half have 1/2 brain cell.

Does anyone know how long we have to complete these epic mod assignments?

Every part of WGs games are manipulated, once you realise that fact it makes playing strictly for fun a lot easier. The citadel challenge did the same thing to me so I had to do it in 4 stages to stop me getting pissed off with the game GG 👍

RNG sucks and it's something that's easy to screw with by the devs or have the appearance of being screwed with. I'm still convinced different players get different rng tables in this game - not enough to turn a crap player into a pro or anything but enough to coddle them 90% of the time.

I think I'm only up to 8 in like 15 battles since the release of challenges. I'm convinced AP in battleships simply doesn't work correctly in this game and it's been steadily getting worse. Seems like every salvo that doesn't fall short or once in a while goes long is about half miss, one pens for crap damage, and everything else overpens, especially against cruisers. I got tagged just last night in my brand new Worcester by a GK and I could see the shell hole straight into my citadel but the game called it an overpen. On note, I've been playing alot more light cruisers and some destroyers since battleships are so trash right now. I'm pretty sure that's what WG wants.

The second to last ones is making me upset. I can’t believe though I sunk a Florida with Furious with just secondaries with a high caliber and a actual confederate medal

Yup game absolutely 💯 garbage 🗑 atm. I lost my mind last night just trying to do Bureau to get my points was only able to get one goal completed I was like peeks gonna go crazy 🤪 just like I did 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍. I couldn't hardly stand it neither I had to shut down console because of the bs games one game on brawl I came out on top killed all 3 enemy teams mates as my only rack of torpedoes I fired managed to sink the 3rd ship I was like It's official 😔 time to get off the game. I haven't tried the citadel challenge since update day when I seen the bs in game and Said nope its bs hell with those mods gonna cost more silver than it worth to grind out those challenges.

I’ve honestly kinda gave up on all the challenges. Bc they are BS. I hate the fact that I’m losing interest in this game. It’s my Favorite game. But bad team mates and bs gambling on your shots going where you are aiming, falling short, over penetrating a BB at 17km etc.

Awesome, same with me, only it took 2 days of 4 hours. Lots of wins, medals 100,000 plus games and a rage quit. 🤣 On the plus side, my BB play is better🥱
