Those Mexican revolts really just seem so op especially when age 2 play goes on for a while

Came for the gameplay but stayed for the revnak slander

lionheart in awe with a stable being built and a 3 unit combo and grouping. Plus hes training villagers at the same time. Also saying a card (700 res) + 500 res for 3 vet upgrades is actually awful value

For those wondering about the history of the card, it refers to a Grain/Corn (Corn in this term refers to all types of grains, not just maize) exchange in Guanajuato. I can't understate how important it is to Mexican History, as it was one of the first major battles and victories for the Independence of Mexico. It's as important to Mexican history as Paul Revere's Midnight Ride is to American history.

I am at 1200 elo and have 4 control groups. 1 - infantry shooters, 2 - anti cav function, 3 - anti infantry arty, 4 - shock troops. Shock troops are 3 when no arty. When I have culvs, then they take priority somewhere.

Maigadis are the only counter to soldaddys for Huasa mixed with fulanis. And Akans en masse. If he had some griots early on also he could have pressed more.

Thank you for all the videos, especially the juicy revolt goodness. Been playing as Dutch SA revolt and it's fantastic (thanks to you.) On a side note, why does every moron have to cry after they've lost? "Boooring" - after I killed all of a Japanese player's shrines. Just say GG and play another game. Thanks again!

It’s almost stronger late than it is earlier. The Salvadoran coffee card of course benefits the more shipments you send, it’s weak early but very strong later. The unit upgrade card isn’t strong early. You want a strong eco as Central America otherwise you won’t be able to afford the benefits like artillery and of course u can go into age 4 quicker

ngl that fight with the raiders against the soldados at around 19 minutes was actually a terrible trade for Dennis even though it looked like a win. Dealing with a good musk falc is so hard for Hausa too lol. Fulani are a fantastic unit but they just don't have enough of a multiplier to kill the soldado's. Very well played by both of these though.

3:15 lol It's pronounced aLONdiga (h is never pronounced in spanish) de (always the letter e sounds as in pet in spanish) granaDItas Putting emphasis in the parts in capital letters Also Queretaro its pronuncied like keREtaro, you are pronouncing Cuatrero which is the lasso dragoon The easy thing on spanish is that, except the c, g, r and excluding the combinations ch, ll, rr, all the letters have just one type of pronuntiation

I have played only the historical scenarios of these civs and especially Hausa felt so weird and bad compared to Mexico/USA and Italy/Malta... It doesn't feel rewarding to play Hausa, while Ethiopian at least feels much better
