tbf I like it, it gets a bit jarring if you think too deep about it, but usually it's just more relaxing (normally the sounds go crazy because hera is beast mode 😂)

Hera I’m not new to RTS games but new to aoe2 and am trying to figure out all the keybinds and commands you do. It would be useful if you make a dark age tutorial on what keybinds and commands/shift queues you’re doing exactly and explain what the purpose of them are. Or a beginners tutorial on all the keybinds and controls you’re using. If you have a video somewhere on that do let me know!

@@aa01blue38 you should play with a sound remap mod. T90’s is prettty funny, replaces all the sound effects with out of context quotes or sounds from him. I can only imagine this mod with Hera apm, it would turn into a disco ahah.

tbh I prefer no sound for water maps. The bells are quite annoying

0:50 Very cool water map, it was in the ranked 1v1 rotation until today; sadly, people don't really play it, so I didn't get enough of it, it came up only 2-3 times...

Great defense against that castle drop amazing play. Need to see more 1v2

Seems like possibly the map with the biggest skill gap between competitive and casual play

@@DeynaAndSilaqui well, 20 vills Fast Feudal into Fire Galleys/Galleys pressure to his fish eco was the way to go.

no game audio on a water map is a blessing

im curious, when you record, you have to include the game audio as a "special condition" of sorts? or was your game muted, as in, you couldnt hear it either? anyway, its fine dont worry about it, it would be a cool challenge if you had to play without audio, like you cant hear when you are attacked and stuff

I actual like the no sound effects!

I always wonder... are your opponents typically in voice chat for better coordination?

How does he zoom out that much? is it a mod? I have the maximum zoom out configuration in the game and still looks closer than his? I want to have a wider fov

If you use enhanced graphics, it halves your effective zoom. Otherwise it's probably monitor resolution limiting your max zoom.

@@HeraAgeofEmpires2 Glad to hear it's just a glitch. But it happened many times already. When you're live you have your chat telling you about it within the first few minutes, so maybe you don't count those times? I dunno man, but I'm happy you fixed the issue.
