@@JanandAnn Well it was a few years back now, but it was very nice, although I’m quite sure Okada gonna be hard to beat, as it’s probably the top or one of the top resorts in the Philippines now, but will be nice to see you both in Solaire, and emptying the stock of Salmon and Sushi 😃👍🏼🙏🏼

Oh im hungry seeing the delicious foods. Im not only salivating but my stomach is growling. Hope to go to Okada Manila to experience that. My last experience was in Buffet 101 at Glorietta Makati when we stayed at Fairmont Hotel which is just nearby. its cheaper there for 1K plus per person. But i think the foods you ate at Okada is much better and yummy.

I remember when we got our chance to dine in there, we’ve focused with their shirmp and lobster. Love it!

The L in salmon is never pronounced in proper English.

Try Heat of Edsa Shangri-la on Sundays, they even have lobsters for just 2,400😉Their sushis/sashimis are fresh too plus the rib eye steak and their lechon are just yummy. Love you guys… Your vlogs makes me wanna go to places you’ve been to😆and you make me hungry most of the time🤦🏽‍♀️🤣. Then let us know which buffet place you love the most so I can also try as well.

Its “ okada Manila interior, and like all the buffet style restaurants I have seen, makes me feel happy and relaxed, and the food, its really good.

This is a best buffet ive seen. It looks delicious and really nice and clean.

Wow wonderful experience, i really appreciate that place, lahat ng foods nila sobrang sa sarap po at at sobrang sulit ng P2700 mo. Dahil ibat- ibang klase ng pagkain ang matitukman mo, pati yung mga Seafoods nila pwedi mong ipaluto sa mga chef's nila Kung Anuman ang gusto mong luto sa D'best experience. Kahit sa Vikings may same silang mga foods pero may kanya kanya silang signature dish talaga. Happy for you po mga lods.., God bless you

Just notice you did not go to the cooking station for seafood. They can cook it for u buttered shrimp and baked clams. So you can enjoy it much better. But yeah i love medley buffett as well cant wait to go back.

That certainly is a very nice high-end buffet in a top-class hotel! Great selection of dishes, focused on the Japanese cuisine, of high-quality style served by very efficient staff! Interesting to have so many food stations with staff ready to serve you, without other guests touching or getting near the food. Great use of glass & plastic barriers to restrict guests ability to serve themselves! This hotel has done it right! Other high-end hotels with buffets in Las Vegas could learn a lot from all the steps taken to serve the food without the contact of other guests, with dirty hands, breathing down on the food! Three cheers, OKADA! Jan, your skinny, cute girlfriend is a bit pushy! I guess you like the dominant type? By the way, Jan you eat with your right hand & Tootie eats with her left hand. Wouldn't it be better to change places so you don't interfere with the other person as much? Tootsie did say" those chopsticks are so long"!

New subscriber here! I'm enjoying your vlogs, thank you for sharing your experiences. This is the 3rd vid I've watched (while doing my audit tasks haha), always makes me smile. Suggestion lang po, swap seating arrangements next time para di matusok sa chopsticks. I'm also a buffet lover, was once called 'Betty Buffet' instead of Betty Boop. And I don't use chopsticks either. I'm a very patient person but I don't know why I don't have the patience to try learning it. 😂

Nice video! Is there a time limit how long you can stay and eat? The Bacchanal Buffet at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas has a 2 hr. limit, at least that's what it was before the pandemic.$52 is pretty reasonable, considering you guys emptied out the seafood station, just kidding 🤣🤣

Ann, there another buffet place in okada I think it’s a Chinese restaurant. There also another buffet in manila I don’t know the name but they focus on Filipino food and I think multicultural as well.

@@JanandAnn ya that one…spiral is a bit pricey but worth it. Best thing to do to get your money worth is go to the meat section first, skip the salad. There a laksa noddles it’s really good and the salmon belly as well. The Japanese section is really good. Get the oyster so fresh. They where brought in from France so you will like it. Get the halo halo for desert. Skip the Chinese section it’s pretty much the same in China town. And. Drink some wine with their coke cuts especially the cheese to finish the night.

New subscriber here. Like the video but your intro is like a prenup 😂. Not complaining tho. More buffet videos pls. Maybe some buffets in Canada. 👍👍👍

They come to you when you are ready to be served with various steaks. Im sure they have this style of dining in the Philippines.

Yup, I know what you mean. Waiters come to your table with different types of meat in carving forks. They give you a small card which you flip around if you want more meat or you want to take a breaker or stop them from serving steaks. Would like to know if there's one like this in the Philippines.

Food looks amazing! Next time try Cafe Sierra in Hilton Universal, it's $75.00 oer head, but its worth it.

Another AWESOME video...from what I saw, I would rate this place 10/10. This is a place where you would take a date and she would feel like she's in Heaven. I would be curious if you brought a Filipina here, what she would choose? My guess to some degree is that she would eat basic food and away from the glamorous food. Price is not bad for what you get and assortment of quality food. Good to experience especially for a special occasion. Normally a fancy date in north america a bill woild be $200 tax and tip. This is still a deal , just come hungry to make your moneys worth.
