That would make waaay more sense in the movie and why Ratchet can't reapair him even though BB have basically the same damage of Jazz, and don't forget Frenzy, he gets decapitated, he's only a head but he's still fine, so yeah having his spark ripped off actually make sense. This happen in the videogame tie-in as well, Jazz gets killed by Brawll(instead of Megs) and he actually said "You Autobots are so fragile I ripped his Spark off...it's too late" or something like that.

Your disconnected from any important source and reviving someone who been spilt in half is pretty cruel and they'll want to die due to it. That explains why Megatron could be revived but Jazz couldn’t. Megatron’s spark was extinguished, so the All-Spark shard reignited it. If in the novelization (which are often based on early versions of the movie script), has Jazz’s spark consumed, then the All-Spark wouldn’t revive him, as there would be no spark to ignite

I remember I had a small toy of Jazz when I was younger. Seeing him die in the film became a core memory for me and I’ve always been able to remember very vividly his death. RIP Jazz

Fallen's face rip off thing was weird. It seemed like his real face was revealed after Optimus removed something more of an Egyptian kind of surface mask on the real robotic Cybertronian face but Fallen was acting like in a great pain and mindlessly wandering in confusion like literal face fipping off and not fighting back despite only a long accessory looking mask was removed from a real face. The scene was not convincing but at the same time felt brutal and not classy both for Fallen and Optimus. The Fallen should have died in a more eloquent way at the hands of Optimus and Prime should have had a harder time. I always say, the TF series went downhill after TF1.

Ironhide got hit with what humans would consider an incredibly fast-acting strain of necrotizing fasciitis. In the Dark of the Moon novelization, Skids got hit with a direct balst from the rust gun while saving Bumblebee, then Skids had the barrel jammed down his throat right after. Also, Que, aka Wheeljack's death in the novel he gets ripped apart by a dozen Decepticon protoforms.

I still wish they’d do a better job explaining what Kills a transformer. Jazz gets split in half and died. Megatron loses half his face and lives. Optimus gets stabbed and blasted in the 3rd film and lives. Bumblebee comes completely apart and is able to reform himself….BUT ONLY ONCE. I didn’t even know jazz died first time I watched it cause I thought his top half could still function! It wasn’t until the end that I realized he died.

@@comradeopthomasthehedgehog that's all well and good but it leaves me with so many questions. if they have that tech why don't all the transformers use it? why doesnt bee use it more than once? Add a jetpack to the spark chamber and it would essentially be an escape pod in any situation. FWIW i had no problem with jazz dying except it wasnt clear immediately that he was dead, only when they brought his body. cause they didn't establish what a death blow to a machine was. (i would have done a close up to his eyes fading or have megatron add a line about him being dead). But otherwise i thought jazz dying was good, it added weight to how dangerous megatron was.

Megatron in the first movie was definitely the definition of a psychopath. I wish they kept him like that in the sequel.

That’s only because it’s Cybertronians fighting Cybertronians so it evens out. When Brawl, Blackout, and Starscream fought the humans they f*cked them up lol. Especially Blackout in the opening scene.

Worse, he didn't simply rip out Ravage's spine, His hand grabbed the tip of the tale, the hand then slid along Ravage's tail and spine, basically shoving the parts off of it, basically tearing Ravage to tons of pieces. THen used his spine like a whip for a pitifu attack and I assume just dropped it on the ground.

As far as the blackout bit, that was just grindor which was basically the same character model as blackout but slightly bigger on account of being a slightly larger version of the sea knight helicopter

Megatron’s sucking ability was also adapted in the dark of the moon game

Man when I first saw that scene as an 8 year old I was honestly shellshocked because Jazz was one of my favorite characters.

I love michael Bay Transformers. but one thing which I hated, he don't care of any autobot characters life then prime and bee.. I was freaked out when they killed jazz, ironhide and even entire OG autobots in 4th movie.. Jazz, ratchet , ironhide should have status as main autobots like Bee have.. Transformers Prime was the best example.. I hope in Next movie Mirage and RC will be kept alive, i'm not sure about wheeljack. but please consider your robot characters as important as BEE..

To debunk that. The bots deaths are realistic 1. Jazz challenged Megatron, Knowing he was smaller going against an Gladiator. Megatron would have easily won either or 2. Ironhide death was unfortunate, but since he was closer to Setinal, he became a easy target. 3. Ratchet death was unfortunate aswell, he could have survived but again. Lockdown is powerful and ruthless, easy kill for him . 4. Optimus Could have stayed dead, but the movie wouldn't be the same. The events ahead wouldn't play out the same. The Fallen would have blown up the sun and with no one to stop him. He can literally wipe the Autobots off the map. 5. Bumblebee was shot in the legs, irl it's Soilders who legs been blown off and they was still able to function. Also remember the actors that plays these characters are paid for it, some of them are greedy and demand a high price to play a role or some actors pass away (Rip Dino) which is why characters are killed off. Michael cares about his bots, cuz of how well he written them. Deaths are bound to happen. Rather you like it or not. It makes way of the next chapters. Another thing, Optimus and Megatron aren't normal bots. They're life forms are connected to some ancient God or power of the unknown. Which gives them the abilities to stay life or be revived.

I know Bee became star bcoz story and plot allowed him but unfortunately other Autobots didnt get chance. Have you saw Transformers Prime?? That show gives best example of how each Autobot were important as bee, even in comics.. Just need a story and opportunity, that's it.. Creativity & Exploration is very important for any movie universe or franchisee, to keep maintaining be alive, specialy today When Marvel and DC exist.. @@TraFClub Drift, cross hair and hound are came to Earth like every other autobot. Plus TFP is a child's cartoon, ofc it's going to play differently than an live adult film. And I'm guessing you didn't see the part about the actors, if they're not paid the price they want or an actor pass. The character dies aswell and again DEATHS are always going to happen. The actors who played Rachet, Ironhide and Jazz obviously Didn't want to play the part or something. So ofc they'll be killed off by someone bigger and powerful then them. Bumblebee doesn't have a voice actor so ofc he'll always have a part in everything. The actor who plays Optimus prime loves his job so ofc the well known and god like leader we love is going to stay alive. Idk if I explained it, but in TF2 is Optimus stayed dead, that'll be the end of the bay verse. Because the Fallen himself stated that ONLY A PRIME CAN DEFEAT HIM. No one is a prime, so once the sun is blown up. He can wreck havoc across the world, universe, even Cybertron. The primes can't come back to life, because they molded themselves together as you saw in the movie.

I see a lot of people say "oh he was just torn in 2, allspark could fix him" But I think this would've made his death make more sense. Especially since we see people take much more damage later in the franchise

Plus that's going to put him through alot of mental stress and he might wanna die. It's best to just let the dead rest. The reason why Megatron kept coming back to life is due to his Dark Spark (his connected to the god of doom, Unicorn) and Optimus has the Matrixs. Unfortunately the rest can't come back unless they want to be zombies. Also Setinal wasn't damaged, and he put himself in a sleep mode. Which is why he was able to come back to life and importantly went into attack mode.

​​@@subjectc7505 A lot of things you said don't make any sense. Megatron in Bayverse doesn't have connection to Unicron or any Dark Spark. You really need to separate facts and headcanons. Transformers aren't like humans. They are robots. Their mentality and body are way stronger than us. They have been fighting a millions years old war and have been damaged in many different ways. Getting torn in half is actually rather tame compared to what happened in many Transformers comics. In the comics, Transformers got crushed, got their heads blown off, got melted in the smelting pool, got electrocuted, got hacked to pieces, got dissolved by chemical weapons, etc. but if they had a chance to survived, they will continue living. There is no such things as wanting to die like you said.

​@@subjectc7505 And why would they come back as zombies? In Headmasters cartoon, Soundwave and Blaster destroyed each other in a duel but they both got rebuilt. In IDW comic, Ironhide got shot and died but he was revived by Alpha Trion. In G1, Ariel got killed by Decepticons but she got rebuilt into Elita-1. They didn't come back as zomebies.

One of my favorite things about the cinema optimus is him lecturing Deceptions on their violence as he's slaughtering them.

wouldn't it be cool if Megatron ate Jess's spark and they basically combined not only is the spark a good source of Energon but it also contains all the memories and personality of the cybertronian so what if all that information went to Megatron and he could do it to everyone he killed

at least it was also the reason why the allspark killed megatron too

If you noticed the difference between the Allspark shard in TF 1 & 2, it appears to have been used. That's because Jazz was revived with part of it according to one of his bios on the TF website. He's still crackin', bitches.

I’m still upset about his death, like c’mon, a character like Jazz.. Can you make him sum’ justice? We haven’t seen him in a movie since TF 1, in the series he doesn’t have a major role, or simply doesn’t appear. Don’t know why, but they are totally wasting one of Transformers’ most original characters. Above all, it makes me sad.

Reminds me of some of the DS games where the sparks from enemies are absorbed

The jazz disrespect in the entire tf movie verse is insane, he’s such an underutilized character

About the clip at the beginning of the short, I have not seen that scene of Bee ripping apart what looks like Decepticon Ravage, in either TF1 or 2, unless I missed something

I've just noticed that most major Transformers in these films have a scene of them tearing another Transformer in half. Megatron and Jazz, Bumblebee and Ravage and Optimus and Grindor.

Quite the delicacy, an autobot's spark.

do you know TF fans can make better Transformers movie then Paramount & hasbro.. Not notch visual-wise but Story-wise, the importance of characters.. I saw some fan made TF movies on youtube. They does better then paramount and Michael bay..

That’s what lockdown did to ratchet. I believe that actually would’ve been nice to have in the film’s because one of the biggest problems for Autobots and it’s not because his inner John reserves
