Yes, this isn't a usual step by step guide, but I will make a usual tutorial in the next video :)
So I made a custom text chat in Fortntie using the Unreal Editor for FOrtntie / UEFN / Creative 2.0. Now imagine if the best fortnite maps out right now used a system of custom text chat like this. Imagine what playing on the og fortnite map, or even a horror map would be like?? That would be so cool! So here is my sort of documentation of how I managed to make this.

Very cool! I'm looking to create some sort of dialogue system, because the only current method I can see is using the popup dialog device, which kinda sucks to be honest.

I mean it kinda is the pop-up dialog device except with a custom thing

@@JayzBOT I'm talking about designing something that's more appropriate for creating conversations with NPCs. The pop-up dialog is fine for one off messages to the player, but it gets messy for anything beyond that.
I saw your video that displays information when a player is damaged, but can you make a tutorial on a lifesteal mechanic? When you damage somebody, you gain some of health back for yourself? Kind of like the Deadpool Pistols

Btw, this is againt fortnite maps terms, just be careful if your published and monetized maps use this. Adding this not because I care, but because I myself have been banned and lost a couple thousand dollars from stuff like this💀 Wouldn't want to see you guy's islands getting banned : 1.2 Keep Personal Info Private - To respect privacy and help combat deceptive practices (phishing, buying/selling account information), do not disclose or request personal information anywhere in your island. There is one exception to this rule: You may include your social media handles/channels as long as they don’t include a URL or QR code or a request for direct or private messages. To preserve the privacy of others, you must not gather, share, or exploit the personal information of individuals or organizations through the use of your island, or attempt to. Do not include videos or photographs of real-life people (yourself or others) anywhere in your island or metadata (name, description, thumbnail, loading screen text, and/or Discover video).

Can you do a tutorial where you can change your (Field Of View) and it works in multiplayer games I tried with your other videos but it was extremely glitched

Yes I've been looking into this, but I can't seem to figure it out yet! I'll definitely post a video on it once I find out how to!

@@piequalsthree3 I think you could use the pokemon camera tutorials but put the camera where the normal third person camera should be and then change the fov

@@rodlopt I tried but it's too glitchy, and using the Pokemon camera messed with your cursor placement. I don't think they did it with a camera, or with Verse so I'll keep digging

Ive seen some maps do this. It can be implemented with wave function collapse, but I'm not sure if anyone would be interested in that lol

How do you make it so when you stand still you lose health then when you move it stops ?

You can calculate players speed, and if it's 0 you can heal them with .Heal(), I calculated speed I'm the bus bomb video😊

I think you could just set up several cinematics and then make a verse script which adds buttons that activate each camera "cinematic"
