I have 3 Zelos watches, and all are incredible! I wore one of them while watch shopping in Singapore, and the salesmen at both MB&F and Patek Phillip stores were like “hey, is that a Zelos? That’s really cool!” This looks like another hit from the brand.

I picked up Zelos Blacktip earlier this year and was impressed by the quality of watch for the price. Good value.

Calling this a hyper watch..is a bit of a stretch but I'm not mad abiut lol. This is a sweet watch. I'll be ordering

Another insane release from Zelos. "SWISS MADE" brands would be charging much more for something like this and in my experience price is not indicative of quality. I do own the Halo 8day and many other moderately priced models. Regardless of the length of the warranty I sometimes hear other KZread reviewers complaining or comparing with other brands about. In Zelos I trust for unmatched after sales service if a problem should arise. They go above and beyond a number printed on a piece of paper. I always enjoy your reviews WC.

Why is the number 3 in the date box not straight its crooked or is it just me who has noticed it.

Great video Chris! This Spearfish looks amazing. I love the blue see-through dial and the dual time is a cool feature. I really want one but my eyesight isn't great, is the secondary time easy to read?

This watch is incredible. Zelos stole my heart last year, currently wearing my green and silver Swordfish TI, the bracelets look the exact same except mine doesn't have on-the-fly adjusting unfortunately ;P

How would you get a watch like this serviced?

At first I thought, not bad looking. Then I saw the wrist shot and then finally the loom and I thought damn that's a nice watch

Good Review!! this one is not for me but I like the design and the fact they once again work with several different materials to create timepieces less conventional than some other brands with a high standard of quality. Like some other say owner stand behind is brand really refreshing.

Amazing watch for the price. The looks seem polarizing but the perlage being on the outside adds a lot of dynamism under changing lighting conditions. My only reservation with usability of the dual time feature is the local time being on the smaller subdial. Compare it with the Oris 690 movement , which allows for adjusting the larger hour hand and makes it easier to see the home time tied to the day/night indicator. In any case, dual time > gmt imo

My jaw pretty much dropped to the floor when I got the Zelos mail! Elshan at it again! Luckily not at the Mirage pricepoint, it's even under Skyraider prices. Good looking and functional timepiece. Tip of the hat!

I have both a mirage and a skyraider. You are right that it is well under the mirage price, but it is more expensive than the skyraider launch price.

Big fan of Zelos, a significant portion of my collection was made by Zelos. The Eagle 2 is a watch that meshed with me well but I normally wear the Aurora, Mako, or Blacktip. This watch is extremely cool from them. Especially the 24 hour complication with the lumed earth. Really unique and cool design. Not perfect for me, I dislike that you can see the entire date wheels but it isn't the dealbreaker for me. Unfortunately comfortably outside of my budget. Maybe I'll end up getting one secondhand down the line

Doesn't Zelos usually command a bit of a premium on the second hand market because each one is a limited run? There's usually no more than 150 produced of a given color variation, and they sell through _fast._

@@waffle911 I wouldn't say a premium. Sure on ebay you see ridiculous prices but those watches don't sell quickly. Most of the sales on the zelos facebook group are usually around launch price

Transparent dial is cool when escapement can be seen. In this case it's lazy idea, perlage and date wheels here are not impressive.

Zelos is the "best kept secret in the watch industry"? Chris I love ya.....but you're kidding, right? EVERYBODY knows about Zelos. Now, it might be a secret to folks who avoid the micro space. But we collectors like you and me, we know. I have one of these right now......and its fantastic. I can't wait to take this on an upcoming trip. Once again, Zelos hits a home run out of the park. Yeah, I'm a big Zelos fan. Well done video sir.

Dane!! How are you? I wouldn't say everybody knows about zelos. I think that most people don't know about the brand, even people who collect watches. People who specifically collect microbrands will know. Other than that, they're relatively unknown. But that's collectors go. You were always in the know! Especially when he came to zelos.

Zelos is in top-100, but this is a new release, and so yeah, I personally never saw this watch before, and I only saw one other channel introducing it today. The watch is cool, but this is its first day, Dane, Zelos needs more love, it's really cool. I mean, are we there yet with Zelos being as popular as Rolex? Is the comment suggesting a higher price? The watch deserves it. I'm just vibing.

Zelos is definitely evolving from a Microbrand into something special. I really think they improve with every new release, maybe they will create a chiming watch next, who knows.

Not really a fan of the skeletonized dial. It makes what could have been a very classy watch look a bit cheesy?? But, that's a matter of taste, I guess. I approve of the stretch in design, though.

Yeah. Came here to say this. No point in looking at this movement. It makes it harder to focus on the day//night and date functions. The movement isn’t providing anything nice to see. So a nice lacquered dial would be great instead of blurred pearlage.

I like Zelos but the prices are increasing too much lately and for $2k, I would prefer something else.

Cool looking just not not my cup of tea. Nor sure if I'm a fan of the see through front. For some reason it just looks incomplete.

This may be impressive and all but man I don't like that dial. All I see is this emoji 😮and now I can't unsee it. I like their other watches, somehow this looks kind of cheap to me, like some cheap Aliexpress watch from a brand you can't even pronounce. Sorry.

Interesting watch but hardly a hyper watch. Something about this design feels like it needed a bit more time in the oven. I feel like this would've worked better with an actual dial and the lume shot proves that for me. The see through material doesn't really add anything to this design other than send the eye all over the place. The design doesn't let you appreciate anything. It's so unnecessarily busy because of the see through dial. This is also not skeletonization. It's just exposing the movement. Skeletonized movements remove the extra material to only keep the bare minimum. It's just a dial that shows you what's beneath it. That's it. This was a huge miss for me :/.

Love what Zelos is doing, that's just not for me. I'm a big fan of the Zelos I own and cant wait for future releases.

Whats the most important fact about a traditional watch? Looks. I dont buy a 2000€ watch for its complications, I buy it because its beautiful.

This watch costs about 2300 euros after VAT in EU and thats Tudor territory already. Also calling this a 'hyper' watch is a bit of a stretch and yes, im an owner of 2! Zelos watches.

Zelos Singapore is trying too hard with this timepiece. 3/10 for me... The dial looks like a Fly.

Not a Zelos guy, but this is pretty cool, and seems fairly priced. However, why does everyone spend so much time talking about the lume on watches? The least thing I ever care about on a watch.

Lume is a top 3 consideration for me.

These microbrands are getting crazy with the prices. It’s a cool watch for sure but once you get into almost $2000 I don’t think I would go with a microbrand.

Farer Markham 2 is comparable in value and I think a better designed watch.

why any brand would be kept secret?

That's not the case anymore. The last 3 drops have lasted multiple days before any units sold out. They're making more units per drop to combat flipping and give actual collectors time to snag one.

This was the main criticism of the brand, which they responded to by upping their production numbers so now stuff does not sell out immediately.

Not a good looking watch at all. That bezel looks half-baked and unfinished, and the dial is an absolute mess.

Still don't like Zelos. Their cases/bezels are way too thick and makes the dial look small.

Pretty it is not. All a bit messy and their logo is so misplaced in that position. Pass on this one.
